There is a problem with bluetooth - Galaxy S I9000 Accessories

Hi,
on all samsung galaxy S there is a problem with bluetooth. I've associated the my phone with my headset and I can call with headset, but if I want listen the music or playing game whit my auricolare it's not function, WHY?
thank you soo much

Maybe the headset is crappy and old, which don't support the a2dp profile needed for media playback. Or you didn't set it up for media play back in bt settings
Written using grafitti on a Palm VII with 8 megs of ram and overclocked to 32mhz!

the my headset is mono and it'isnt stereo. I use the headset for the call but with my old nokia e51 I use the headset mono for the call e for the listen music, now it's impossible with my sgs

Transfer Sound to Buletooth Headset?

Only when you receive or make a call, the voice then, will be transferred to the buletooth headset. My question is: is it possible to active it at other time other than makeing call? Thus we can use our Voice Dial softwares and listen music from XDA II.
It only can transfer the voice during the phone call to BT headset. I think O2 need to modify the Bluetooth driver to support more function on BT section (like iPAQ PPC, compaq updated the BT Driver to support listen the music on BT Headset).
Hope can heard O2 to modify the BT driver very soon, otherwise my Bt headset for O2 is not very useful !
I think except voice command, there is no missing fuction for using BT headset right now, since the quality of the speaker is horrible for listen music.
I really don't know why everyone asking for listen MP3 with BT Headset with XDA2. Is that people really enjoy listen music with one ear and low qaulity?
The XDA II has the ability to automatically answer a call after a variable number of rings to be set. However, I believe that this option only functions with the headset plug installed and then probably the BT headset won't work. Or does anyone has another idea?
Is it possible to change the register, so you can automatically transfer the call without having the plug in?

Well some people would like to have audio via Bluetooth to be able to hear Tomtom navigator over the speakers ?
Also, the SPEAKER of the XDA might be bad, that doesn't mean the audio out is bad. With a good speaker or headset quality could be al lot better...
If you use the XDA Adaptor Jabra kit for the XDA1 in the earphone socket it works fine, but if you use the headset with the direct bluetooth connection, then it doesn't.
Bluetooth Music ?
I believe that the bandwith of a Bluetooth Audio connection is far to limited to support anything resembling HiFi, not much point in listening to MP3 music that way.
For TomTom, or my Korean Language MP3 tutorial files, it should be fine though.
Luckily, the speaker is far louder than on my IPAQ 5450 going on sale, so I don't really need external speaker for TomTom.

Obvious, your not useing any of the build-in BT functions are you .
You're just getting wired audio out from the XDA/MDA. You could do that with the XDA I also, i didn't buy and XDA II for that !

Bluetooth Stereo only plays mono source over left channel

Hello,
I have a number of mono sound sources (Internet radio, Audiobooks on MP3 etc...) and can't figure out how to make the A2DP connection to my bluetooth stereo headsets play the mono source over the right AND left channels. I don't care that it would be mono+mono.
Is there anything I can do to configure this from the WM6 SmartPhone itself? I've connected my HTC X730 (Verizon rebranded) to 4 different stereo headphones and one of them did play the stream over both right and left channels, but none of the others did.
??
Thanks.

are you shure that you connect it by using a2dp ?
when you connect it as a headset, you will only hear mono.
you have to connect it as a bluetooth stereo headset !
Pretty sure I guess. I go into Bluetooth settings and select "Set as Wireless Stereo". That, and the SmartPhone home screen's titlebar icon looks like a headphone with a music note inside it.
One other side-note, if I listen to the same content on my PC with WMP it plays over both speakers, but if I stream it via A2DP from my phone to the same PC via the WMP on the phone, it only plays over the left speaker.
maybe you should try an other (newer) rom

Playing Music via BT Headset With k810i?

Hi everyone, I have a Plantronics headset that I would like to use to listen to music when I'm working out.
My Sony Erricson K810i automatically switches to the bluetooth headset when I receive a call, but when I play music I can't get it to switch to the headset.
Is there any way to do make my K810i output music to my bluetooth headset?

BT earphone can not be used for media

When I paired my Samsung WEB150 BT erphone it permits to hear only phone sounds, why not media saunds?
Is it ecause of earphone itself or FW capability?
Could it be it is not A2DP ?
I have flashed w/ 4.1 JB.
because it only can be use for handfree/headphone profile... it dont have audio/media profile.
Interesting. I've used (and continue to use) two Plantronics BT ear pieces with my unit for movies with great success. Just be sure when to include media when you pair.
