dudes i'm planning to get another sim card and i want to know if there others with dual sim card adaptor? thanks!!
I got Dual Sim adapter 13th generation, I am usin` one in which you must cut your sim card. But it`s not so horrible as it may sound, there are plastic boxes for regenerating your sim card. Everything works fine
Got a link for that?
sir can you post a pic of it and how it works... do we need a soft reset to activate the other sim card or you have just to enter a code?
I´m using a HTC magician. I want to use two SIM cards with a dual SIM adapter.
The adapter works with e.g the Simplytel card and an old D2 card.
My problem is: the dual SIM adapter doesn´t work with the combination Simyo / Simplytel. It doesn´t matter if the Simyo card ist used as first or second card its never seen by the system.
The Simyo card works in the cellphone if used alone.
I wanted to know if dual imsi support depends on the device or just the sim card.
i have HTC magic and i want to have dual imsi but i don't know if the device supports it..
thanks!
The IMSI is the SIM card equivalent of IMEI for phones, it identifies each SIM card uniquely. So in order for your phone to have dual IMSI, you'll need a phone with dual SIM card slots (a feature that is getting more popular nowadays).
Or, if you're adventurous enough, there is a SIM card adapter I've seen that can take 2 trimmed SIM cards and fit them into one SIM slot.
I have a first generation moto g with a damaged sim slot. The moto g was used with a nano sim and, when removing the sim and adapter, I think one of the contacts on the phone got bent or damaged. Perfectly functional sim cards are not recognized by the phone at all.
Anyone have experience with replacing the sim slot? I'm not too good at soldering. The phone is not under warranty. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading my post.
Edit: I solved the problem. It turns out that the nano to micro sim adapter I was using was slightly off in terms of position for my nano sim cards. Once I tried a different adapter, the g recognizes my sim cards.

Check on ifixit
They have a guide on how to open the phone and you will probably get links to buy a new sim card holder
And as for the soldering you have you do it yourself

Thanks for the reply. I had a look at some videos, not specifically for the g, and it looks like something I may not be able to do myself.
I called one well-known repair place in Toronto and the person said they cannot replace it although they can do other repairs to the g.
Hello!
I am trying to use a brand new Qilive 62GB XC I (class 10) memory card on my Motorola Xoom MZ605 with ICS 4.0.2 and apparently it doesnt fit in the memory card hole on the tablet... I mean i cant insert it properly in the tablet card slot... When i insert the card it goes down the card slot and thats it.. It seems its loose..
This is very strange because my SanDisk 8GB HC card fits well easy in the tablet card slot.. When i insert this card on the slot it make that click and fit well in the slot..
Are the 64Gb cards different?? It seem that the 64 Gb are bigger and thick and fatty cards...
Any help guys??

Sorry, I almost didn't see this. The Xoom was originally designed to use both a micro sdcard and a SIM card for those connected with a carrier. The 64 gig sdhc micro sdcard should have no problem working if you get it in the right slot . This is the slot closest to the screen. Be sure to face the lip on the card towards your screen(Front of the tablet).
By the way, I did this same thing and had to take the back off of my Xoom to retrieve my sdcard. So that I don't miss any questions you might have, email me at my personal email:

Though I no longer use my Xoom, I'm still here to help.
