[MOD][MDPI/HDPI 2.2+] GB Keyboard Repository for CrashedUser Studios [UPDATE 3/13/11]

I made this thread so that I and CrashV2010 have a single place to share our keyboards with you. All keyboards, except the stock gingerbread board, posted by us in this thread have been themed by us. Please enjoy these and feedback is always welcomed.
Unless otherwise noted, these are the instructions for installing:
1. Download zip.
2. Put zip on your sd card root.
3. Boot to recovery and flash.
4. Enjoy!
This will replace your standard android keyboard. This is for MDPI devices only, except where noted, and as it's based on the Gingerbread keyboard, it doesn't seem to run on 2.1 or lower. In theory, I can't say one way or another as I lack the equipment for testing, these should work on HDPI devices as well. They would come up as the standard ginger board, as I have not themed the HDPI icons, again, except where noted.
I would like to give a big thanks to thoughtlesskyle for figuring out how to change the text color so we were not stuck with white text all of the time. Thanks, tk!

Yes, they will. Very simplified, MPDI refers to the screen density. MPDI is used by the Hero, Eris, and comparable devices. HDPI is high density, i.e. the Evo, Epic, and such.

[App] vLauncher Home Replacement

with some trimming up, smoothing out and speeding up, this iPhone-like home launcher could make it to the top of the list quickly. I think it needs some help when it comes to the window animations and it shouldn't rotate into landscape unless the phone has a physical keyboard. 3 and 1/2 stars. Check it out. It's kinda cool.

Maybe ... just maybe ... some people like the look of the iphone but the availability of android (att doesn't have the best high speed coverage). I just can't understand how upset people get over someone elses phone. If you don't like it - move on. One last comment - there just might be a reason why the iphone is STILL the highest rated smartphone and considered the one everyone else is shooting for.

The apk themes the XDA app, as well as most of the system apps. I just switched to the simple theme on the XDA Premium App and it came out looking like that. The attached Metamorph theme on that thread is brilliant as well. All the animations and system changes are just stunning. I'm using the newest ADW Ex and everything is running smooth and fast. The animations and stuff run alot smoother than I'm used to on my hero, it really adds alot to my phone.

I had forgotten about that - got so busy working on First Blood. I'll get back on that project for you.

I've been running this for about a week and a half now and gotta say I'm glad you spread the word about it cuz it really is an amazing theme with extras that are just icing on the cake ha ha People should definitely start jumping on this bad boy!

[ROM][PORT]ShenduOS

Just another port of a chinese ROM. It only really stands apart from other chinese ROMS in a couple small things.
The main difference is that it is really not very customizable(eg you cannot move the app drawer icon from the right side of the dock, or edit any options available to most launchers).
I am guessing the author of the Rom is just trying to come up with something simple and clean.

looks like a good start, ill try it out when i learn chinese

lol.. The screenshots were taken from the chinese site. It's almost fully translated. The grouping option in the launcher is not fully translated. And the custom file manager app was not translated so I replaced it with the asop file manager..
Edit: Also removed the chinese app store and added gapps.

I haven't had a chance to play with an actual motoblur rom(even though I'm trying to port it), but it seems from screenshots/vids of motoblur that this ROM may be trying to emulate it a bit.

Nice port Keep up the good work!! I'm very thankful that I have a Evo Shift with so many great and nice developers. Ex: BigSplit , Bfitz26 and many more!! I just got my Evo Shift in March. It was a BIG upgrade from my Hero CDMA (trust me!!!) lol but I enjoy working with many nice developers and I hope you all have a great day!

I never meant to ignore you, sorry if it came off that way. My phone has been busted and this was my last replacement shift. Anymore broken and I would have received an "equivelant device"... I'll be uploading my updated kernel source soon. Also, I can point any of y'all in the right direction about building/compiling sense kernels. Gtalk me drob311420. Good luck!
