Uninstall Instructions
For those that wish to uninstall, in most instances, you can just uninstall the app. If that doesn't work, than you can use Dutty's Default LockScreen App to reset to default HTC lockscreen. (I would post myself, but I don't want to be mistaken as the Author of his app.)
Energy ROM Advanced Feature
Thanks to NRG who created the Energy ROMs, those running Engergy ROMs have a nice feature that lets you switch between two different LockScreens with ease. By default, my LockScreen when installed will set itself as the default LockScreen on most ROMs. To switch back to the Energy ROM default, go to Settings > Personal and click on the icon for changing the LockScreen, reset your phone. After reboot the default is set again.
ADDONS for AndroidLock
(Click on an image to download the addon)
If you uninstall an addon, you must reinstall AndroidLock
If you like and can spare, please donate using the link in my signature. Let me know if you donate, so I can give credit where credit is due. Thanks.

Nice one. Good to see an actual working version where the lock surround moves across the screen too. Look forward to a polished release

Hoping either tonight or tomorrow. Just got to tweak a few more things, then it is good to go

Great message, i´m using v.0.9.1 a few days without problems. Only miss unread items but otherwise perfect screenlock.

Really good lockscreen. Hoping for v1 tonight .
Would have been really cool if the lockscreen could show a preview of a email or sms on the screen. Like s2u2.
Btw: You cant really swype the slider to unlock and then back. Seems to get stuck. And when pressing to screen to unlock the slider changes color slightly.

Does energy rom have oboe lockscreen? if so you must overwrite it with standard one and then try the cab. oboe looks like hdmini lockscreen.

Thanks for letting me know

I'll have to port it to that rom, or if somebody else has the ability to do so, please do. From what I understand, Energy rom uses different files, currently this lockscreen will only overwrite the default HTC Lockscreens. I'll put that up in the first post.
Thanks again for the feedback, and I will work on getting this ported for energy rom users.

I'll make some adjustments to the slider to minimize the effect of it getting stuck.
As for the color issue, I'm not sure what that might be. It does not appear on my phone.
It may be that you see the slider fade and then fade back in, if that is the case there is not to much that can be done without me taking some transitions out. I will try a few things to try and minimize this.
If this is not the case please post a screen shot showing what you are seeing. Thank you

ah, yes. I am doing the slider like how it is on The Android OS. The color discrepency that you are seeing is similar to what the slider is on Android. I'll be sure to make a version without that, but for now know that it was intentional

Version 1
Ok guys, version one released and ready for download.
Thanks for the support guys and pushing me to get this out. I look forward to further improvements. Until those improvements come out, please enjoy version 1.
As always let me know of any problems, and look forward to the future releases.

Ver.1 does work good on Dutty´s ROM. Only little bug - it changed font in Google Maps - text in yellow and blue squares

[THEME] [updated 21.4.2010] METRO - the (almost) complete design for your device

Hi folks, well it's almost done! Today I start sharing the (almost) complete METRO design for your HTC HD2!
METRO
featured at pocketnow here: http://pocketnow.com/tweaks-hacks/complete-windows-phone-7-like-make-up (well some of the comments aren't nice, but everybody has it's opinion )
and as seen on wmpoweruser here: http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=15873
Please read before download: All those things were made for a Stock ROM HTC HD2! If you have a custom ROM you may have problems! I CAN'T HELP with those issues! Anyway - you may modify all those things for your own needs! If you want to release it, please give a proper credit and link to this thread! Thanks!
Let's start with the things many of you guys like - but a this time I'll put this all together in one thread - much more easy to handle this for me.
You might know:
MyMetroLockthe customizeable lockscreen can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=656744&highlight=Metro
Metro Icons and Addonsdownloaded over 60.000 times via my website - so they can't be that bad! Thanks to all helpers! You can find that stuff over here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=651045&highlight=Metro
The new stuff:
Metro Clocksthanks to the awesome CoOkie's Home Tab we have analog clocks! And here you can get the matching Metro Clocks in 7 different flavors:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Instructions:
* Go to my Website and download the ZIPs: http://www.mobilitynews.net/?p=11122
* Install CoOkie's Home Tab - I bet you have it
* extract the ZIP and copy the CAB to your device.
* disable Sense in Settings --> Home
* install the CAB
* enable Sense again
* if you have an analog clock enabled layout in CoOkie's HT you now will see the Metro analog clock
Metro Slideras shown above in the screenshots! Full credits go to ZITOUN - the slider is his work! he made it for me and never wanted to release it. There is a small glitch with the big calendar icon - nothing important - but it's working great! If you have other problems with it - I can't help - please ask him
You can find this great slider attached to this post.
Metro Wallfor the complete "look and feel" you'll need my wallpaper with the blue softkeys. Made by me using HDwall. Grab it - it's attached...
Metro Operawell the original Opera Icon down't fit to the design. So I made a new one which looks like this:
It's attached - grab it!
Metro ThumbCaldo you use the very finger friendly ThumbCal? Guess what: I've got a Metro design for that! Grab the attacked "skin.Metro.zip" - put the ZIP in the installation dir of ThumbCal and select it as your design!
Metro Slide2Shutdowndo you use "Slide2Shutdown" (please do a search - I lost the thread)? I do! And I want it in Metro design Download the "gfx.zip", extract it and replace the files in the gfx directory in your Slide2Shutdown installation directory.
I spent many many hours of time for this project - if you like it - I'm happy
If you want to buy me a beer or a coffee please click the link in my signature.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
A word about updates: I WILL update this stuff but PLEASE give my some time - I need a little break after this stuff There will be a theme file for JWMD Icon Changer in the near future - maybe in some days...
HAVE FUN! I hope you like that stuff!
--- reserved for updates ---
--- maybe I need this space too ---
I really love the colors that are used in your design template.
Everything looks really simplistic, professional, and very sophisticated.
You're working hard... and it's clearly paying off.
Great job!
Oh, but if you don't mind me asking... would it be possible to share (via .CAB file) the LIGHT BLUE notification "dots" -- that color is ideal for my theme. I'd be grateful if you're willing. Thanks in advance.

As written above: the slider is made by Zitoun (http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=799650) - I can't help with that issue - sorry
Great work love the theme !
Would it be possible to make slider icons for Ereader and Documents tab aswell ?
Im not sure if these are already part of the theme as I have them both installed as seperate cabs and they still have the original icons not the Metro themed ones !
Thanks !

No - I didn't do anything with the slider. All that stuff belongs to Zitoun
Just installed this stuff. It looks great, and I will be following this thread for developments!
Incidentally, your screenshots above do not show a feint grey line between the date and alarm on the home screen? Do you know why I have one?
And also, as mentioned above, it would appear that the digital clock is completely black.

Cool. Thanks for the quick reply.
Mega-theme. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Brilliant!
Couple more things I think would fit with the theme.
With Cookie's Home Tab 1.7.1, when you scroll down to see the full quicklist, it would be nice if the date/time/alarm background was all black (or see-through). Same goes for the notification bar when you use it full screen (icons only, like in your screenshots, are not affected by this).
Of course, these are just suggestions. You probably knew about this already.

I will when I'm done. But atm I'm facing some problems..
I can't change all icons because the Icon Changer doesn't show me all the quicklinks and subfolders.
There is no white icon for the active tab on the slider bar, just the blue background.
I'm on the latest Energy ROM, and installed the stock taskbar since it fits more with your theme, but the speaker icon is still the old one.

Clock in the Black Version
Added for the blind and the stupid that can't read changelogs or post two in this thread.
Goto spare parts, change colour in there and reboot for it to take effect.
***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SETTINGS TO CHANGE AND/OR SET***
ADW Launcher settings-change "AB scale factor" to no more than "6" if you're going to use the background color feature, otherwise, it will not look correct.
Call Settings under Settings-enable "Force Touch Keyboard" to enable call buttons available on-screen
Spare Parts settings-
Change "Window animations" and "Transition animations" to Fast
Enable "Compcache enabled"
Enable "Launcher in memory"
Change all settings in "General" to white text for BLACK THEME ONLY
Under "Notifications": change "Notifications ticker color", "No notification title color","Ongoing notifications title", and "Latest notifications title color" to WHITE
For BLACK THEME ONLY-Under "Notifications": change "Clear notifications label color" to BLACK for BLACK THEME ONLY
Known Issues.
Black Edition - ADW Launcher wants to update in market. Please do NOT update as it messes with the theme and changes search bar to white, if not bothered by this update.
Also for both black & white it changes default wallpaper to ADW wallpaper.
LED notifications only work when screen switched off (I don't honestly see this as a problem, if your screen is on you can just see what the notification is for)
Clock is black on the Black status bar version. Goto spare parts and change the clock colour in there. Reboot for change to take effect.
Browser reload issue - I am currently looking into this, browser seems to be killed whilst multi tasking and reloads to homepage.
Ohai! where've you been?
This is amazing! I personally don't like the HERO battery icon, but I do love the black status, etc. So I put the WHITE BATTERY style on the black, and removed Linda/youtube downloader for anyone who wants to flash it, Mek didn't know how to do so. :]

This is sweet, real snappy from the get go. Love all the new spare parts/adw options. I'm very happy with this ROM, of course i'll probably wander on here a week from now and it'll be "outdated" and then eventually have to deal with froyo, I never saw all of this amazing potential when I bought my g1 so long ago. Thanks for everyone who contributed.

Very nice ROM but I'm not getting LED notifications when I receive a text or an email. Is there a setting that I'm missing? All I found in the changelog is "D/S: Fix issues with notification LED on D/S" Not sure what D/S is.
Edit: Never mind. The notifications are there when the screen is off.

Elegant darkness beta 1.1.
This is an early development copy of my MIUI theme. Subtle changes have been made, bigger changes will be made later down the road, please keep this in mind.
I believe collaboration is the key to great design, so although this is an early release, i would love feedback and suggestions .
This theme has only been tested on RoDrIgUeZsTyLe v1.2, your mileage may vary on different ROM's.
Running 0.10.15 or Rod's V4FIX? Try this
Features:
-Custom lockscreen buttons
-New applications will not have the annoying background/border (if you wish all apps to not have this, you MUST flash this before first boot, once an app is installed it will keep the background until you reinstall/update it)[MIUI limitation]
-Custom status bar
-Custom system icons (without modifying the APK's )
-Some button modifications from Elegant Steel
-Custom lockscreen wallpaper (beta 2 will have this in the APK)
-Custom lockscreen charging/low battery
-Increased drop shadow
Downloads:
-Beta 1.1(Dropbox, RRElive)
-Beta 1(Hotfile, Rapidshare, Dropbox, RRElive)
-LauncherPro pack will be added tomorrow (icons, dock icons, dock).
-Wallpaper
-Lockscreen wallpaper
References:
-Icons
-Some button elements from Elegant Steel (Really good work)
-The MIUI team for making such a great ROM
-Rod's great enhancements he made to the ROM (i used this as a basis)
-The Android community making development such a joy
-XDA (just because it rawks)
To do list:
-Custom buttons (there is alot of image files, this will take a while)(but it will look DAMN nice when im finished)
-Themed apps (LauncherPro, market,sms/mms, etc)
-Custom font (helvetica probably, i love that font )
-Make the lockscreen buttons A LOT better, im not entirely pleased with them (they dont go with the rest of the theme)
-Increase the opacity of the background of the status bar, make it a little more readable. (The style i was going for, i couldn't achieve as it turns out, MIUI doesn't have a background image for each status bar item (until pressed/hovered), if anyone knows of a work around, please tell me )
-Custom wallpaper just for Elegant Darkness
-Automate some of the installer (get a collection of good wallpapers + lockscreen wallpapers onto the SD card, along with LauncherPro assets)
-Custom bootscreen
-If i can really be bothered (likely not, i am lazy) a live wallpaper.
-Custom widgets
-Advanced installer similar to that of Kang-O-Rama.
-Custom menu items
-My own icons for system apps, i like the current ones, but they aren't my own (im going to try and make this theme as much mine as possible, for a truly unique experince )
-Beta2 will have more of the images optimised (i got lazy with this)
-More screenshots
-Might make the U(nlock) in the lockscreen into something else, maybe a H(ome). It looks to much like another word..... (not my fault )
Changelog:
-Beta 1.1(16/10/2010):
Fixed Recent applications (they used to have this awful "green glow".....
Made the lockscreen buttons nicer
Made the status bar items a little more readable (increased opacity exactly 25%, making it 75%)

sorry about screen shots my hosting is doing some modifications to my server, I'll look into it when I get home......

Nope, beta 2 will be built for .15 once english translation is out (only language I know). Or rod's 1.2
Beta 1.1 is out, still waiting for that english translation so i can do beta 2 (for 0.10.15 MIUI).

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've got quite a bit of assignments for uni and i've also been working quite a bit, been struggling for time for android development.
But ill package a 1.2 soon enough after i fix something up. Should be .10 fully compatible (or at least rod's 1.3)
Can't wait MIUI is just not the same without your theme! Keep up the good work
1.21 doesn't work.

This has some of the button modifications, and has been modified to work for Rod's 1.3. Can someone tell me if it works on either ROM? Either 10.15 or rod 1.3? I dont have either ROM installed yet.

My style of development is to test lots, and only move once it all works nicely. But yea i think ill post more "in dev" builds. I always enjoy using them when others post, so i might as well provide the same opportunity
Yup stuck on x for me to.
Ive got a few more builds, that are working perfectly fine, Ive just been slowly changing the files until i find the problematic file. (I don't have any access to usb so i cant do a boot log easily)

[App] Power Control Widgets Settings Application

Many people using the Power Control Widgets that I ported inquired about the ability to control the behavior of the various toggles that are available, such as Brightness Levels, Screen Timeout, Sound Modes (silent/vibrate/etc), Flashlight Modes (death ray/normal), as well as the ability to dynamically set the indicator bar on/off color below each widget (nice!).
So, I began investigating how this was controlled in CM. After some digging, I found the applicable locations where these options are controlled and began hacking away at making a stand alone application available that would present the above referenced configuration options to those using this mod, while eliminating all the various other options not applicable to this mod.
This is an extreme hack to make work, but I am proud to say that I have v1.0 available and ready for download. I say v1.0, as there are additional options I want to make available via this application that are not yet present, but I wanted to put out what I have now. This bad boy took some major surgery to get working on our Sense ROMs, requiring me to pull out a lot of tricks in my hacking arsenal, and I'm almost as proud of it as the actual port itself!
In addition to the above referenced features currently in place, I also hope to add the option to turn widgets on/off all together, as well as dynamically choose which widgets to display, in lieu of, or in addition to, the current widget.txt file.
The application, once flashed, is named 'PowerControl Settings', and when looking for it in your app drawer, utilizes the following icon:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And following are some screen captures of the options available / referenced above:
It should be noted that if your ROM dev customized your widgets to a fixed color for the indicator bars (if they are not a default cyan blue, they are fixed to a different color), that the dynamic indicator color feature shown above will NOT work, since, as mentioned, it has been hardcoded to be a specific color. This would have to be undone, or you could flash a stock version from the mod thread to get back the dynamic option.
Download PowerControl Settings Application v1.1 <--- Flash via Recovery to install
Update 1/30/22: Small tweak to the app made to prevent appearance of RenderFx in widgets selection list, since this widget does not apply to this mod and should not appear.
Of course, it is important to mention / thank the CM team for the original application of which this port is based.
NOTE: If you plan to use the 'toggleScreenTimeout' widget, now that you can control timeout levels via this PowerControl Settings app, I had to adjust the available intervals, as CM offers different timeout intervals than what are available in Sense ROMs (making it incompatible). This required an edit to the services.jar file only, as such, I have created a patched services.jar file (v2.1.1) available for download at the bottom of the mod thread. It is only necessary to flash this if you wish to use the 'toggleScreenTimeout' widget.
Nice.. thank you!
Very cool!
awesome work like always John!
going to download now
All I can say is Nice Work! Is this something that will work on the Widgets ported for Inc Roms?
man, this is great! you just keep pumping out these great mods! thanks for your commitment to the Evo
You keep out doing yourself. THANKS
Excellent stuff! Thanks for sharing your work. Humble request: Sound+Vib/Sound/Vib/Silent.
Nice.
Will future versions allow full customization of the widget itself such as background appearance, buttonize appearance, icons, etc.?
thank u man... good stuff.
much like everyone else is wondering though... will u implement a feature that will change the widgets on the bar also?
personally im not worried about it... but i do wonder.
worked great, just as expected.
i love being able to set the flashlight to death ray. that's the only way i use it!
and being able to change the color of the indicator bar worked great and allowed me to find a better matching blue than the one I had set via smali
you're the man!
Again, as I said in my post in your original thread, this APP is by far the BEST APP I have on my EVO..... Adding these features just added more sugar to an already tasty treat!
(any chance you plan on ever making a buttonized version like you had in the original one?)
You da man!! Will test this out after work today!

I want to keep the widget.txt option in place, so that you can use it to control the order of the widgets. Then, if not present, default down to the toggles checked via the application for which widgets to display (order can't be controlled). This adds another layer of complexity to the code that is making it more difficult, so I removed the check box options all together in v1.0, and as mentioned, hope to add this later.

This would take both a new application and a new framework file, which just isn't feasible to try and maintain a bunch of different versions for personal preference, etc.

I'm pretty sure some good gents in the mod thread have already ported my original.
This looks tantalizing. Any reason it wouldn't run on an Incredible with Virtuous 3.2? (Guess I could always give it a whirl, but I thought I'd ask first).

I have to be honest with you, I very rarely acknowledge / answer these questions for a few reasons.
One, I don't own that phone, and two, why not just try it and let us know?
I see no reason why it wouldn't work though.

this app is to control the power control widgets...do you have the widgets ported over to your framework? otherwise what is the app going to control?

Lol, talk about not seeing the forest through the trees. I assumed he already had the widgets running via a port Yes, this is a helper application for the already installed power control widgets in the notification window.

Hey Guys. Finally I present to you JellyBread, JellyBean theme for our own DDLF2. I have tried to include most of the Holo goodies and will continue to bring more in future updates.
I have been working on it for over a month. I took this much time since I have by my own tweaked layouts and created/edited png’s. All that took some time.
Honestly, this theme makes the previous ICS theme by me look ugly. You will feel this too if you have used the ICS theme. For those who haven’t, I have compared some parts in the screenshots section.
Before moving on, I would like to thank all those who have encouraged me to go on with this theme and make it a reality. To be honest, I wasn’t very sure if I would make this theme seeing the response in the ICS theme. But these people encouraged me to go with it. I want to specially thank them.
Before doing anything read this disclaimer!
I will not be responsible for the damage you do to your phone in anyway. Just follow the steps and you’ll be good to go.
More things to note:
Currently the theme doesn’t include mods. If you have any mods installed, most of them will be removed after flashing this theme. That said, I will include mods one by one in this theme. I will create those mods from scratch to address the reboot problem which was faced after flashing the mods.

Short review:
Everything is grant. ammar, you did a very fine job! background looks really nice. Great lookng dialer, fine toggles on notification drawer. Pattern lock screen looks really fine, adorable is better to say. Media scanning line is changed, there is no need to remake it. lovely grey and black game. About dialer - it rocks. color gamma is picked right, no background or other mistakes. and there is no need to make video call button,you were right earlier . Calls history screen is now lighter and more grey. my first reaction was wow, what is there contacts colors are grey aswell. anyway looks really nice, ammar.
As a conclusion, really fine theme creator you are, 10/10 with vision to future. By the way, new fonts looks smooth and whole gb view is changed totally :thumbup: . I like the way, you've managed the backgrounds and popups. Thanks for your efforts.
