There is a huge difference beween the package provided in the v2 and the v1 (200Mb=>7mb).

can I flash this kernel with SGS kernel flasher

Or you can use odin to flash and use sgs flasher to backup the kernel.

over there, u will see directories, choose STSKT_N_79.33.50R.zip . Btw this is fjfalcon's website. most of the xt720 stuff is there. very useful website. hope that helps!

It is the Zip file. How to flash to the korean XT720?

After extracting the zip file, you will probably see a sbf file. Watch these videos if u have no clue on how to flash sbf on to phone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-My3iODE208

I'm wondering also - I flashed CM7 to my Motoroi a while back using the "..Service1FF_00.sbf" and it worked, but I haven't seen the "KOREAN-2.1-39R.sbf" until now.

Look in your device's forum for a full stock ROM and flash it. That should get you back to where you want to be.

just when u download the RUU file open it up and it'll get u through the instructions but u have to install HTC sync first to be able to access the RUU file..

I'm noob, this website is confsuing me so hard I can't find any useful info for me.
I have Samsung I5800. And it works really slow, I mean, REALLY slow. I got 1gb memory card inside but if I download let's say 2 aplications 25mb each I can't do any single thing with this phone. Can't pick up calls - If someone calls me I can hear the ringtone, feel the vibs but screen won't light up fast enough to pick up the call.
I was told that this website helps people like me. That updating ROM - w/e it is - might help. Is this true? Or is my phone broken and I have to send it to repair?

Try flashing a custom rom
If problem persists then maybe there is some problem

Ok, again. I AM NOOB. I have aboslutely no idea what does FLASH YOUR MOBILEPHONE mean. Searched for every possible Odin version, it doesn't fit the guide man, I don't want to do any damage to my phone/PC. You say check this and this box. Cool, but there are no such a box there !
Guides here are outdated - year 2011.
Please, help me, give link to an Odin version that will suit the guide requirements...

Its the best rom that ive tried. When you download the rom, in the zip file you will see read me file with the instructions and the rom file, and the flashing tools.
Just read the first post of the thread its explained very good.

And then follow this little tutorial: http://www.ehow.com/how_5023369_make-zip-file-compressed-file.html.
There ya go! A flashable .zip file, all made by yourself. You can now easily use CWM to flash it(I assume that's what you want to do with it).
