Hello,
I had android 2.1 and purchased one of the navionics (marine charts navigation) and was working great. I upgraded the OS to 2.2 and now I can not even see any navionics apps in the market, I can find them in appbrainer but when I click to go to the market it doesn't find it.
I contacted navionics and they say their app does work on 2.2 and that it might be due to rooting the phone but I checked for the app in another phone that came already with version 2.2 from factory and got the same result...
Any suggestions?
Anybody else using 2.2 can see the navionics apps in the market?
btw the same is happening with the pandora app...
Thank you...

I've not managed to get the market up and running, however I have found an app called applanet wictch lets you download apps for free. you can find this at applanet.net

The last time everyone panicked over not being able to access the market, blaming their phones and looking for solutions, it turned out that the Market itself was down. Google fixed it and all was well with the world again.
I wonder how many people bricked their phones trying to 'fix' the problem at that time?
I am currently using am HTC Evo 4G, just got a new one and havent had a chance to root it so It is unrooted and running the stock ROM. Every time I try to bootup the Netflix App it shows a blank white screen and then pops up a message saying
"Error : Please make sure the device's date and time settings are updated to the current date."
and then the app closes and I am unable to use it
It's operating on the auto-time, and no matter what I do be it reboot, re-install Netflix, etc I still get that error.
Any Ideas as to how to fix this? When I run it on wifi it works fine, this only happens on 3G
You would probably get a lot more help if you posted this in the HTC Evo forum under Q&A.
My suggestion would be to first go into settings>applications and clear the data from the netflix app.
If it still doesn't work, try completely uninstalling it, rebooting, and then reinstalling netflix.
Netflix app is released only for some selected devices. Checkout list of compatible devices:

I have an Evo 4G with Myn's TwoPointTwo Rom installed and I just noticed that with the new style Android Market that came out a few days ago I can update Amazon Apps from within the Android Market. Well... actually the update button is there...I haven't actually tried it yet. Now, the Amazon apps I have installed don't show up in the My Apps list in the Android Market, but if I search for an app, then it shows me the update & uninstall buttons. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this or tried updating an app? Can you tell me what happened? Did it work? Did it break the app?
Thanks.
Is anyone else at least seeing this, or is it just me?
how to get new android market, mine still old one
Mine showed up two days ago when I cleared the data for the Market application. Then after opening the Market app about two more times, it was updated.
Anyone help me with this?
There is an app called Updater v 2.3 on my DS. Is that for the Android Market or is it for HTC to detect my software version?
I am asking because I am still on v1.28, was never offered update to 1.47, never mind the forthcoming update.
I half think it arrived with a small update that I did get months ago, that never led to 1.47. But I might be wrong.
If it is NOT for the android market, what happens if I uninstall it or clear the data?
PS
I do not mean the app called Market Updater. This is called Updater, has the android icon and is versioned as 2.3
