Not an app. Settings->About Phone->Battery Use

Please show...
Please can you do me a favor, please post "Display Time On" results, tap on "Display".
My average result: 16 hours since unplugged; 3 to 4 hours of screen time.
Which is perfect for me for 1 day.

4.1.1 Exchange battery drain and intermittent notifications

I've never had any problems with my Nexus S until my battery took a hit with 4.0.4 and now with 4.1.1 it's being a total pain in the ass.
For reasons I cannot figure out Exchange goes nuts. I turned sync off and didn't even check email yesterday but my battery had 10% left after 5 hours. With Gingerbread my screen was almost always the #1 battery user but since then others have taken away the crown. Exchange or Mediaserver with Android OS being runner up if not finishing first on occasion. I've been consciously trying to not use my phone for much because using it for much of anything means I'm down to like 3 hours on a charge. The phone never goes to sleep, the "Awake" bar is solid or a very intense bar code while the screen is more black space than anything by a large margin.
I am also finding that sms notifications aren't notifying me like they should be. Like I received a text 30 mins ago that I didn't know about until I went in and checked and seen one there waiting. Notifications are enabled. But I don't get the sound or the notification in the notification bar.
I flashed JB stock soju 4.1.1 (JRO03E) and I am having amazing battery life as you can see in the image with mild usage of 3 hrs 25 min screen on time. Usually with active use of browsing on 3G I reach 4 hrs screen on time.
I also don't have any problem with notifications.

Android OS consuming too much battery!

last night i slept for around 8 hours, before i slept, i had battery power at 65% left, i wake up in the morning to find 27% left! now i think that verrryy much for idle state as my wifi, edge, games, calling/texting and screen were completely turned off for many hours. i look up the battery stats and found that Android OS had consumed 51%. below is the screenshot.

somebody please tell me why is that? and how do i get more life out of my battery?
Maybe your phone only goes up to 9 hours...
Maybe it's kernel related.. Are you on custom rom already?
My Droid on a JB ROM has the Android OS consume about 90% of the battery and it dies after 8 hours of screen off time, airplane mode. *shrugs* if anyone has a solution id like to know.

This has probably to do with something that is running in the background.
your phone apparently doesnt go into "deep sleep mode" Only in this mode you lose just few % per night.
I recommand to shut off your phone, take out the battery for a few seconds, put it back in, charge it in one go, then turn it on again. See what happens.
You can, of course, sleep with the charger in.
Welcome to Android, for the most part, our battery life sort of sucks :/

Random battery drain. Please look at pictures

I have been running CleanRom 3.0 for about 7 months now and have been getting great battery life. For the last week or so I have been getting horrible battery life and i cannot figure out why. I have not done anything different or added any apps since the fall. I have done all the tips and tricks to saving battery ....display set at 10%/30 seconds, All notifications turned off, gps off, bluetooth off etc... I can usually get an average of 22 hours before needing to look for a charger.
Today:
10.5 hours and 12% left. Not even 2 hours of screen time. I have phone forced on 3g and get good reception at my home where I was for most of the day.
Can someone please give me some insight here? maybe I'm missing something??

Maybe your battery itself.
There are far to many variables that play a part in battery life.
Look into 5.6 and remember to toggle off data and WiFi when not in use.
Worth a try.
Edit: now I clearly see you toggle WiFi and data off when not in use. Haha sorry.

Agreed, try changing kernel or kernel settings, gov types, speeds, tweak options.
Sometimes it take alot of trial and error to figure out the best rom/kernel combos. May also have to change a few things in the rom and/or kernel to do so. Goodluck!
You can try an app call "Better Battery Stats"

New S7 high battery drainage (Pictures inside)

Hello,
My used S7 came in yesterday from Amazon and everything has been fine except the battery. The battery drains very quick. Earlier today the battery went from 100 to 80% in around 20 minutes and the phone was hot just on the home screen and browsing the internet..
The phone came with G930U software and I flashed it back to G930R4 which is what the phone is originally, then I flashed it back to G930U XAA because Oreo came out for it earlier today.
I disabled Always on Display, device scanning, etc. I even ran ADB and removed Gear Vr and bloatware apps.
Here's some screenshots:

look at your SOT (Screen On Time) and also i used no auto brightness and set it up eith 0% brightness + lowerung resolution (720p instead of QHD) and using app callef Pixel Battery Saver to turn off some extra pixel. and don"t forget to make it black.

Question SCREEn ON TIME

guys can u post youe SOT of this phone?
Id say about 16 hours. No one can answer your question because the screen time is up there with the best.

16h sot on 4500mah? can u stop lie and put some screens numbers
Because I cant? When i got the phone I played 3ds game for 10 hours. Then watched youtube for a couple and did phone stuff. *Im not gonna test something that is EASY over 10 hours, because that means its gonna take 10 hours.
My SOT reports 14h and some minutes. My guess is that it is higher than that, because from 9am-11pm I used the phone non stop the first few days and there was still battery left... no long calls though which would obviously change it.
And its 5000mah, not 4500. You also must make sure battery isn't "smart learning" which it does the first few days after a restore\reflash... Didnt do it new out of the box though, battery was already "taught."
