draw9patch broken in latest SDK? - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

I downloaded the latest SDK update and am getting this error whenever I try to load up draw9patch. I didn't change anything related to Java SE or the like. Anyone else having this issue?

[Q] Issues with starting app in Eclipse

Hello, to start off, I am kind of a noob creating apps. I have Eclipse all set up and running the Android plug-ins and all works well. I have one issue that I cannot find an answer to. When creating a NEW BLANK ACTIVITY, the last step before I can click finish, it asks me for a hierarchical parent which must be filled out. I have no clue what to enter into this field. Android's tutorial says to leave it blank, yet I cannot. I will attach a screen shot below. Thanks for the help!

Anyone?
Hi, another app noob here. I had the same issue yesterday. I fixed it by uninstalling the ADT plugin package provided by my linux distro, and then reinstalling the plugin from within Eclipse as mentioned here:

This box appear when I tried to install the apps (sample here is go sms theme maker). It says "error, cannot install app with the same device i.d.
How can i fix this? I have a rooted phone, and I already tried to search this one on the root folder (/...), but I can't find what is causing the errors. I tried using SD Maid, and try if it's a corpse file (because currently, I uninstalled this app), but this does'nt appear in the corpse finder. I tried the dalvik-cache if there is some .dex file remains there, but still nothing.
So before I will reflash my ROM (which I think is the last option available for me), I try to post here. Hope that anyone can give me another idea to try to clean this error up.

"AppInventor 2013" by EndoreStudios (A.K.A gavguitarhero)

Ok guys.....It has been a while since I have been on here....
So what's new...
I decided it was about time I made it a little simpler to work with AppInventor so I took up the challenge to expand on an already offline local version of AppInventor.
So what did I do?
I took the offline AppInventor and loaded it in to a simple UI......
But that's not all.....
I created a set up which will install and help configure all the things you need to start building right up to publishing your apps
The ISO currently stands at something like 1.3GB but that is only because it is packed with everything you need.
Right now I'm running short on time and will not be able to upload right now.....but.....enjoy some screenies lol
Upload will follow soon enough.
Peace guys.
Install ADK.....

[Q] Error flashing Android M

HI, Im trying to finally flash Android M on my Xperia M2, but when i write the command to flash, it stays forever with `waiting for deviceĀ“. I have searched and created a file to determine the access to my device when its in fastboot mode. Concretly, the file is called androidrules (not exactly, but it is his main name). I created the file with vi editor because it is the only tool that can be used to create it, and i have added the `rulesĀ“ for an xperia device with each id vendor and my user name, but it stays the same.
However, i have fastboot drivers installed and it detects my phone when i type sudo fastboot devices. I don know what happens....
Im using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit on VmWare Workstation.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE? :crying:

Newbie to the TVBox world

I have searched the forums and could not find the appropriate category to post this in, hence posting in General.
I got an MXQ Pro 4K device, and upon hooking it up, i could see that a few applications could not be installed. Said it needed the latest version of Android. Going into settings, it shows me 7.1, but i am unable to install basic apps - they say i need 4.1 or higher.
That brings me to my next question, i think i have identified the chip as RW? (maybe i am wrong - i have been googling all day getting more confused). Could anyone tell me if there is a latest firmware or an Android update available for this device. I have absolutely NO idea where to start or how to begin looking for software etc.
I have attached the images of the motherboard and also a screenshot of the 'About device' on screen. Please help! Appreciate in advance.
