Hey guys,
My Eris market just changed to have a related tab. I don't have a G Tablet yet, but I was wondering if anybody who hacked the market would be able to tell me if this tab is on the G Tablet market too?

the market on my gtab shows similar/related tab.
tnt v 2.2 lite
both my Droid abd GTab updated around the same time. Had been on the market with both earlier...read about the update starting to roll out snd when I checked, both had the new "similar" tab.

On my G Tablet, That I just got yesterday.
I installed with tnt lite 2.2 and today it had the new
market.
My gtab is now showing the new tab.

Interesting. So I wonder if GB has some sort of DRM in it that Netflix likes.

That'd be my guess! An unfortunately since I don't wanna lose my 3G on the tab, I'll have to wait for an official GB update!

it says it run on evos that are only on 2.2. mine is running miui and works fine (based on cm7). haven't tried my tab yet.
Over on the Nook side of XDA, it was found that by editing the build.prop file, you can fake Netflix into think it's one of the supported devices.

I can't get this to work on vz tab. Netflix no longer says it's an unsupported device, but it just closes after I put in username and passwd.
I just received my gTablet Friday and I am feeling a little overwhelmed by the options and info I have to sort through.
I already bricked it once when some damn app from the store kept crashing tap n tap. thankfully with the info here I was finally able to get it to do a restore. Thank you.

yeah that's the new 1.2 bootloader. Looks like your not running a stock kernel though. Was this a new or second owner purchase?
Brand new still in box and shrunk wrapped. Unless tigerdirect pulled something on me.

You will be fine.
In fact having 1.2 bootloader is better if you are planing to go fo Honeycomb.
There is an app on the market for 7 bux that claims streamingbon tablets. This is bs right?
I just tested this on my Motorola XOOM v 3.2. Works beautifully.

No where does it say root require so probably work non root devices

Sideloaded Netflix 1.3 works on the Zoom without any mods because it has the correct lib file. I think you just gifted them $7
Might explain why this "app" does not work on the Asus or Acer (need correct file).

You don't need to be rooted for Cheetah Sync. I'm not sure why it is giving you such a hard time, it is definitely compatible with the transformer. Regardless, it's a free app. So, here's the apk.

Hello,
I am beginning to wonder if I have the right version of the Play store on my Xoom.
I am thinking I have an older version/mobile version because the font is very large, in fact, it's an eyesore.

Looking at that photo, it doesn't look too big, but when you hold the tablet in front of you, it looks massive!

This is still quite large, but much better looking.
Also, another question, shouldn't the beta Chrome browser not be there? I don't see it.
I did a factory reset a few days ago, and when I opened play (if I recall correctly) it said it was updating to a new version, but said there was an error.
(I have not rooted my Xoom (yet ) so I cannot take screenshots)
So, is this the right version, and if not, how can I update?

EDIT: Wait, I just remembered something.. Mine is the international (if that's what you call it) version, as it has no Verizon branding on it, and I have no contract either. Will I get an OTA ICS update? When did it come out for the rest of you?

Yeah, head over to the android development section and there are a variety of different ICS roms, try some and see which one suits you best
If you want root try LordAIOTool, it's an easy method to root Linux version is the most updated one. Good luck

To root, which xoom type is it? Mz60x?
For the best rom ever released for xooms, it is from team eos.
