[REQ] Samsung Galaxy S music app for EVO

It would be totally awesome if someone could port this apk to the Evo. This music app looks cool. I have attached the apk and the odex files. Let me know if you need anything else. If there is another thread on this MODS PLEASE DELETE! See next post for the odex file Just so we are clear this doesnt work on the Evo. I pushed the files over but nothing shows up in the app drawer. Maybe the files need to be deodexed or something.

Thanks man but it doesnt work just yet. I am waiting on someone to port it over. I can not seem to make it work at all.

Can anyone help out with this? I think it would be an awesome app on the evo. If someone pm'd me the instructions on how to port I would gladly do it.

Any chance of a picture of this app? I know it doesn't help but I am just curious as to how this looks since the rest of the skin on the Galaxy S is an iPhone rip off

I really like HTCs music player/widgets but I'm currently using Launcher Pro and the music player options are limited.
I can't stand the vanilla android widget, I'm using the 3d cube but its iffy...a new music player would be kickass.

the fact that the samsung music player has a built in lockscreen widget and notification bar widget is kinda hot - would those carry over as well if someone manages to port it?

I would love this. My friend has a vibrant and he showed me how he can totally tune up his music with the eq that comes with the music player.

[APP] Gallery and Music Launcher for Android 2.1

My brother and me created this app launcher of Gallery for Xperia X10 with FW 2.1
It is different than this method described in
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826250
The X10 FW 2.1 hides the Gallery 3D launcher, so we use the easiest harmless way to fix this by creating an application that will launch the Gallery 3D.

Music Widget not supported by this app.
In order to properly bring up all features of Music and its Widget, you need someone with knowledge of decompile, recompile and repackaging of APK.
FYI.
What i make is not a Gallery application, nor i hack or do anything with the existing Gallery. What i post here is a standalone application that acts as a shortcut or launcher to existing Gallery application in your phone.
This app works with any Android 2.1 which have Gallery shortcut hidden by manufacturer.

You might wanna try WinAmp for your music player replacement. But i advising you not to remove/uninstall MediaScape because most of things depends on it, might cause you problem. Just leave it there, won't do any harm.
I will check to see if the phone still have the stock media player inside.
FYI:
The launcher i make is not the gallery app it self, it just a application that work as a shortcut to open Gallery, since the default app launcher is hidden by SE.

Doable, though its very limited like music. I can only make the launcher, but widget and the rest its beyond my capability currently.

If you happen to use Launcherpro, just press Add-Shortcuts-Activities-Galllery/Music from the homescreen

updated nhl apk?

hey i was wondering if there is an updated nhl live apk? I just downloaded CyanogenMod-6.1 for Vision :: V6.1.0-RC4 on my tmobile g2 and when i go to watch live video or play live audio nothing happens. The video will go to the screen and the nhl icon will spin or whatever and then it will say that it is unable to play this video. Now it worked on the stock rom. I was just wondering if there is something missing in that new rom i downloaded. Thanks

If it worked before you switched roms, I would have to say that the rom you are using is the problem, not the app.

[Q] Videos on Facebook wont play..

Hi guys, I am running the latest nightlys and my fiance noticed that she can not watch videos from Facebook. So I tried and it keeps telling me I need to install flash... Is there a way to get the videos to Play on the Xoom from Facebook? We dont use any FB Apps, we just log in using the browser and/or Dolphin HD....

Hey I'm having a problem and wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing or knows anything about it.
Whenever I try to watch a video I get some kind of playback error. I can play videos I already downloaded but if I try to watch from youtube or any other app or from a website in my browser, I get an error.
This started a few weeks ago and Its getting extremely annoying.
If anyone can help that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Youtubes broken, and video player is missing on rage, try using rock player for streaming and use youtube 2.1.6 apk, might work better than the current youtube app.
