Hi,
Like most i have been on the fence waiting to get a Android tablet. Was looking at Archos 101 or Advent Vega. Then i find this one which doesn't seem too bad a price, can someone else have a look and advise if it's any good, i know it's no Galaxy Tab. I did want a 10inc screen but for the price happy to settle for a 7inch screen. Has anybody used both sizes, is there a great difference in the expirience?

Also it says access toAndroid market, i didn't think any tablet had that at the moment officially?
Thanks.

Hey guys Sorry for repost of the same questions im freaking out here... I just did some research (something i should have done before posting first , but im in freak out mode)....
Im stuck in bootloop after using the latest TnT lite...I would like to get that back .
I researched how to address this, however i see a couple of ways to get this thing running again, here is what I found:
Using Nvflash got this on TegraTabs site... does this require using my computer?
Here XDA... I saw that someone had the same issue and Clockworkmod Recovery was suggested.
OK this is where i am comfused If i use Clockwork I need my windows (vista) computer correct ? and it looks like I am going to be using command lines also (not a big deal for me)... I saw that i am going to need android SDk and also tegra drivers as well?
I am not looking for the easiest way looking for the best way ... Sorry for asking again however being a noob to Android I just want to make sure that I am doing things right.. is there any other information that would help you guys help me? let me know... again thanks you guys... still in freak out mode and dont want for my money to have been thrown away...I appreciate the help....you guys rock

Best way is to download the Android SDK (to get ADB), the Tegra drivers and NVidia's SDK which includes nvflash. You can get the Tegra stuff here or over at our sister site, tegratab.com (we started putting stuff up there while waiting to get our own forums here on XDA). To get nvflash access, you'll need to modify the Android SDK's INF file (if you're on Windows). Nvflash can get you out of almost anything. Best to back up your images using nvflash before you flash anything else, that way you've got a copy of what's on YOUR tablet as it comes, stock. Since you're stuck in a bootloop, I'd guess you no longer have any stock partitions so maybe just pick up the stock images from over on tegratab.com. They should be fine for you but it's nothing like having a pristine copy of your own images.
Hope that helps. Not sure if I gave enough detail but shout if you need more. We have some really good people here.
Yes you need a PC for NVflash. If clockwork fails then your going to have to NV flash back to stock.
Hey guys I would like to thank you for your responses
I was actually able to bring back my Gtab with the help of forum member dcom222 in this thread

I plan to incorporate his method into my TnT Lite post, there's some good stuff in there.
Hi all,
I have started this thread after not being able to find any information besides specs on my Sumixe 7inch tablet running 2.1 eclair on it.
I purchased the device from Chinavision (big mistake) and havent been able to get any info out of them regarding firmware.
In the insturction manual provided it shows you how to update the device, But because it was translated into very poor english it is like reading in brail (imposible if you don't know what your looking at). I tryed to follow there procedure to update my device. But this was unsuccesfull.
I then contacted chinavision to get the manufacturs details but they cannot provide me with them.
So i need some help trying to recover a bricked tablet.
First off all where can i get drivers for FWDN for a telechips 8900 arm 11 procersor?
Second can someone dump a copy of there original firmware online for me.
Third. Does anyone know how to get into get into recovery mode on this device after new firmware was installed.
The reason why i want this info is because chinavision want me to pay for shipment back to china which i think is rediculas as it was there crap translation that caused my device to brick.
I would also like to ask the devs to make this thread sticky as there is no info on the net regarding this device that can help. And i know that someone on XDA has a solution
Thanks in advance

i came across this tablet on digg, and then wanted to find out more about this tablet and looked on google..i dont know much about it but i found a page where you can get some manufacturer details
http://www.eriktronica.com/sumixe-7-inch-android-tablet-with-wifi-and-camera..html
scroll down a little
about firmware you can try to manually flash same firmware you had before bricking.. or try(if there is such a way) to go to recovery mode factory reset it.
dont you have some sort of warranty?? to send it back or go to a service or something?
i hope this is useful for you, good luck with your tablet!

Hye pforlin,
Because i orderd my tablet from chinavision they want me to send it back. the cost of sending it back from the netherlands is 20% of the sale value. so not really worth it. I have tryed to do a factory reset, and tryed to get in to recovery mode but havent been succesfull.
I hope i can find someone who has had the same issue to try and get it resolved.
Thanks for your info and ill keep posting to let you know the update
Hey guys Ive looked all over for the answer to the question but cannot seem to find it anywhere. My problem with rooting the phone is not the phone itself but my two laptops. I followed QBKING's youtube video (newest one) exactly however im stuck when it comes to placing the CWM flash file into the PDA section. On my laptops it shows as recovery.img vs the image that is on his page. I need to know what program needs to be installed on my pc to change this problem and allow me to procced with rooting. Also, if your wondering or dont already know, when you click browse that recovery.img does not pop up. Thanks in advanced:fingers-crossed:
Nothing? Maybe a few extra details would help? Pc is a Toshiba running Windows 7 64bit......let's help get me rooted!!!
Hello everyone!
Before i get to the thread i have to say that my english can got a little issues because im not using it daily. And second thing i got to say is that im newbie here, so if i do any mistake with section or something like that, just move it to right. So I apologize in advance.
Okay so here we go :
I got an Goclever smartphone, model Fone 450 with android 4.1.2 and my problem is that Gps didn't work in any configuration for me so i started to serach for any help with this stuff. I found a lot but every method needs a root. So i started to find a root method for my phone and here appear my real problem - I tried hudrets of methods and nothing didn't work for me. I thinks it's problems with a ADB . When I plug in my phone in manager i see "Android phone" > "Android adb composite interface". When I look closer in drivers i saw "HTC Dream adb composite interface" . So what is going on here? If you need any screens or informations to help me just tell, i try to get everything to make this working.
i see u guys can't help me?
Hi ! to root you can use srsroot.com. It`s a polish phone and on polish forums people have some metods on root. I wish to help you the best I could but my english is so poor... But polish is very good i fact I`m Pole.
P.S. I belive there is no custom roms yet, becouse i can`t find anyone.
Hello. I'm super new to all android hacking stuff in general. I just recently bought a Letv one max. Super phone i love it. But its so damn limited when it comes to all that hacking stuff. I recently tried putting it into fastboot but all i get is a penguin on the screen. The linux penguin to be correct. I have been looking everywhere online and no one else has ever had this issue which i find so damn strange. I have installed adb and whatnot and got the correct drivers. I also opened up the command thing and typed in the codes etc, but it wont go past the damn penguin!!!!! Also when i flash twrp its all in Chinese and i cant do anything because i have no idea what it says.
I hope that someone on this forum can help me out because im so stuck. all i have is recovery mode nothing else its so frustrating. Anyone any suggestions would be highly recommended. Thanks.
