Is there anyway for us to get the Facebook from the dellstreak? I played with it in bestbuy and I lover the Facebook on there. Its what should come on all android phones. Its like the iPhone app but its a widget.
They have ported the dell stage llauncher that includes the widgets but they don't fully work. Just go in Google and search for dell stage launcher

Well is there any other options for better better Facebook experience? The stock widget sucks and so does the app from the market.
I use LauncherPro Plus and I like its Friends Widget. Its simple and doesn't have nearly all the options of the facebook app, but it integrates Facebook and Twitter feeds as well as being pretty quick at browsing comments and posting. You can also set it to launch the FB app (or any app for that matter) when you want to use the "full experience."
Well the market app is no where as near as good as the iPhone app

I love Google's News and Weather app very much, I use it all day. I was wondering if anyone has a build of the news and weather app that has multi touch enabled? I hate how I can't zoom in on articles. I feel like there are any different builds of the news and weather app but they are all over the internet and i can't find the best one.
Hey everyone,
anyone know a twitter client that imitates HTC's peep widget? I'm currently using touiteur, but the widget sucks. Used to use twidget but kept FCing
if anyone can tlel me an app like htc's twitter or even a port or something that would be great
I haven't used any htc phones, so no idea what it its about that particular widget you like, but tweetcaster had a great widget, and the program itself is great. As fart as I know the only difference between the free and paid versions is a single ad on the bottom of the free one. I tried a ton if different twitter apps, and tweetcaster was by far the best of the ones I tried.

LauncherPro Plus has a decent size Twitter and Facebook widget, but I am not using that launcher anymore, I am using DxTop , so I was wondering if anyone has developed these widgets, which allow me to view and scroll each Feed like Launcherpro Plus has.
Also if anyone has used the Mytouch slide, the slide had an awesome email widget, decent enough size to scroll up and down and view as well....if anyone can help, much appreciated

Tweetdeck

That is too small, I am using Tweetdeck for both my Twitter and Facebook Applications, but I would like a reasonable size scrolling widget for both Twitter and Facebook, most is the screen. Also what about a decent size email widget?

Pure Messenger! Very nice and scrollable (if dxtop can handle it). 4x2, 4x3, 4x4..
This was just released by an upstarter called "Big Widgets"
He plans to release a couple of 4x4 scrollable sexy looking widgets. Facez is the first to be released which is for Facebook.

Trying this out now... Thanks for the heads up
Widget looks nice and can be resized if you use ADW or LauncherPro Plus.
I am currently using the default first party twitter app but I am wondering if the other apps are better, which one do you guys prefer? Im especially interested in which one has the best widget.

to me the best overall client is twicca just because I am a fan of its minimalist design, the one problem is I absolutely adore Plume's widget. If you are using a launcher with scrollable widget support plume has a super slick widget.
I prefer Plume for the twitter feed. Its got a great scrollable widget with many different sizes.
I also like TweetDeck for its 'post' widget. you can post to twitter and facebook either one or the other or both at the same time by toggling each one on or off.
I like Tweetcaster

I've tried all of the above plus more and I ended up with Plume. I love everything about it, the only thing I find it lacks is the ability to add users/people to lists and Facebook integration.
I'm a new Android user coming from a blackberry and so this was the closest I could get from UberTwitter for Blackberry
Plume is the only scrollable one. which I like. However I don't like the client more than Twidroyd one.
Plume has the best widget for a twitter app, however for the app overall, for me it is a toss up between Tweetdeck and Plume

Plume is one of the best out there.
I previously used LauncherPro which had it's own Twitter widget but now since the update I just want to keep everything stock ICS. So what are my options?
Android pro Widgets
Thanks! I will give that a go
+1 for Android Pro Widgets. I use their Timeline widget, which combines the Twitter and Facebook feeds into one feed. Love it!
APW is exactly what I was after, I went and bought the paid version. Also, the separate Google Reader widget is really useful and I like how it includes thumbnails of each news article. Good stuff! Thanks again
Is there a Twitter widget that properly integrates with the Twitter app? Same question for Facebook.

Android Pro Widgets allows opening tweets using Twitter for android (also supports Plume and Seesmic) and opening Facebook items using Facebook for android (also supports FriendCaster and Seesmic).
I'm not aware of any widget that takes its data directly from Twitter / Facebook official apps.
