I have the "[ROM][RAPH] S4 v1.9 WM 6.5.5 23549 GER für Raphael" Firmware on my Raphael phone.
I used a new but not very good working Rom version, too which brought a good GPS signal but I could not receive any SMS.
Now I changed the Rom version for the 1.08.25.20M1.
My problem ist just that my main display says I would have 29 unread sms. But in fact I read and deleted every sms. So the displayed amount of sms is wrong.
Does someone have any idea how to fix this?!
I would be very greatful because that sucks

The one at the top showing the operator etc...any ideas?
I'm assuming the SMS: 018 is showing the number of SMS in the inbox (not just the unread ones) which is a feature I really want, hence wanting to know what the plugin is.
However, if anyone knows of a today plugin that would tell me the number of SMS in my inbox (and not Pocket Breeze) please post and tell me !

I am running the qtek rom at the moment on an M600 (orange) and have had a few sms's recently that just say 'the contents of this message cannot be displayed'
Anyone know whats causing this?

Ooops. Never heard about that before. Can you tell if the sender is someone you know.
My guess would be an eventual incompatibility with the sender's system. Commercial spam sms? or sms sent from a Website?
A character your M600 can not interpret and display?
Qtek ROM is the last to analyze. I've used it for months with no problem.
I got the same problem, not on QTEK, but on my SAMSUNG verizon I730, I upgrade it from wm2003se to WM5 recently, so, I am sure that when someone send to me a message contain UNICODE or certain Chinese characters, I got the "Contents cannot be displayed". When use wm2003se, it works fine. After install a little trick, I even can write Chinese or receive Chinese SMS.
Hi there - is it possible to implement a WM 6.1 version over an existing ROM version ?
or in other words - I`m using Quentin`s qmobile 1.2 but wanna have the wm 6.1 on the kaiser ...

This has been asked before. It's a definite no. Features, only thing different is sms threading, which you can add palm threaded sms to your rom. Some other minor options, but nothing too big.
The SMS from 6.1 is by far much better than Palm Threaded SMS

Ignore the first response - I guess he didnt understand the question.
If you have hardspl'd your device, then you can flash any rom you like.
But if going to a 6.1 rom, you will need to also flash a 6.1 compatible radio rom as well.

MS Threaded SMS:
-You can't see the time of messages older then 1 day anymore.
-You can't see which delivery report is for which message (if you send 3 messages to 1 number and the second wouldn't be delivered, you couldn't check that.)
-You can't disable the threaded sms function.
Palm Threaded SMS:
-If you want to see older messages in a thread, the app opens the whole conversation and with a several thousends of messages it kind of gets stuck.
-The sms file which contains the messages gets HUGE. With 5000msg the file is 20MB. (the main reasion I wan't to dump this app)
The MS app is more stable and faster, but it just isn't finished yet. You can't call it much better then the Palm threaded sms, cause it misses core functions.

I would use Palm's but I just can't stand not having MMS not working. A couple of weeks ago I was able to get the MMS fixed but it only works with the older ArcSoft MMS. I can give you steps and the package that you need to get it work. If I can find it again.

NO! You can not flash 2 roms... Your rom holds 1 rom
Wait for Quentins WM6.1 rom or flash someone elses WM6.1 rom.

When your log file is small, Palm is faster yes. But if you have a huge logfile with thousends of messages, MS is way faster for sure, it just doesn't get slower, while Palm's app is getting slower with each byte.
Hi, I have a Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 with windows mobile 6.1 build 21051
I have some threaded messages from some contacts. 1 of them has around 1400 sent and received message. Everybody knows that if there are many messages there will be a selection to see the "older" or "newer" messages. But suddenly all my older messages dissapeared. Windows Mobile created a new threaded message for the same contacts, just like you don't have any message history before. I thought it was because I have too many text messages in 1 single threaded-messages. I still can see the amount off message in Inbox (around 1537) but I can't see the messages. It's just like hidden in system.
Please.. Can anyone help me sort this problem out? I don't want to lose all my messages because it's really important for me.

I'm cooking English ROM for my M715 phone(a Korea version of I8000 by SamSung). But i have a problem in SMS.
In official ROM the SMS inbox control by Samsung SMS/MMS app, all SMS, MMS will be storage in 8GB memory flash, it mean they will not lose after Hard reset, flash ROM. But the language all in Korean and i cannot use, cannot writing in ABC letter.
I cook a new ROM and use I8000 OEMapps, the phone can send SMS but cannot receipt white the sender phone have a delivery report, it mean the SMS come to my phone already. but i don't see where it is because the are no notification, nothing come to Inbox of both Samsung SMS/MMS app and WM default app (tmail.exe).
I cook a new ROM, reuse the M715 OEMapps, but remove the file MMSfilter.exe, the phone cannot receipt SMS again. then i copy MMSfilter.exe to windows and run it. Immediately, the phone have a SMS notification I can read SMS by WM app (tmail.exe) , after that the Message Inbox in WM default app(tmail.exe) disappear , now it have only email inbox. The SMS will come to Samsung SMS/MMS, Korean again .
I use OEMapp from China forum Kingmobi.net, now the phone can received SMS but it go directly to inbox without any notification. I must open inbox if i want to know i have a new SMS or not. I post the question in that forum but no answer.
Anyone can help me to fix this problem?

I have same trouble with SMS on SCH-M715. Cannot send/recieve SMS after I upgrade from original Korean 6.5 ROM to M715.DB22 English ROM (M715_korea_to_english) from GSM forum.
Anyone know how to fixed it ?
