No experience with that mount, but some research to share:
That Kensington you listed opens to 2.75" max, which is right at the width of the Otterbox case. The height is listed at 4.1", so the Fascinate should stick off the top a little. IMO, that is a plus if it means the camera can still see out. I'm looking for one to dual-purpose to film video as I drive. My main concern with this one would be how stable it is, since the flexible adjustment will hurt that.
Most universals just don't seem to open wide enough. Another wide jaw option are these:
http://www.arkon.com/Smartphone_Holder.php. But I don't think the camera will be able to see over the high back.
Based on dimensions, I think the clip that came with the Garmin Nuvi 200 series might work. If it does, this opens up a ton of options. Anybody have a Garmin Nuvi 200 Series?
Thanks for the advice, I went ahead and ordered the one I mentioned. I'll post and let you know how it works after I get it

Well, I've been using this car adapter for a few days now. It seems to work pretty decent. I've only used the vent mount. It doesn't cover up the camera or buttons so that's cool. I just wish the samsung car charger was a bit longer. I may try and stretch it out to give me more reach.

I think I'm gonna get one, mainly for use with Torque (I love this app!). I like the Instant MPG gauge to help me squeeze the most out of my 5.4L F-150..

I have the Arkon and the camera is not exposed.
I have the Garmin Nuvi 200 but I don't have a case on my phone so can't say for sure if it would work. It looks like it might be a smidgen too big (the clip).
How is the vent mount working out for you? Possible to post a pick of it mounted?
It works fine, it's never fallen. Keeps the phone secure and is very accessible. I'll try to get a pic of my phone mounted in it. My point and shoot died, so i only have my gf's phone which prob. won't be the best pic, but we'll see..
When I had my iPhone 4, I had the Otter commuter case. I tried several mounts before I found this one. Very Sturdy! The one you bought, I already tried it.... complete crap I am sorry......

Anyone found one that fits with a case still on the phone? People at VZW told me the one they sell wouldnt , but they were wrong about my droid x dock .... so i thought i would ask here . Thanks .
No actually docks, but if want to go with a mount and a cord:
If you are willing to go with univeral clamp arms, any mount that includes Arkon SM040-2 will work. Just google that part number and hit shopping.
If your holding out for something not so bulky, the bracket for a Garmin Nuvi 200 series may work with some cases, but may require some modifications. Look for part number BKT200, which adopts most Garmin mounts to the Nuvi 200. This bracket is $2.39 shipped on ebay if you want to test with your case. Please report back on how it fits.
Ill give the Garmin mount a shot and report back. Too cheap not to at least try. Thanks.

Very well made and pretty durable. I use this in a semi truck and have had no problems with it. Instead of ordering from the site though, just stop by a flying j or pilot truck stop, if you have one near you. They sell this dock for 24.95.
Using the CM barely there case for the DHD, really barely there, probably the slimmest case. Might wanna check it out if other cases dont fit on dock

Mine's in the mail (free shipment from HK = not the fastest). If this thread is still active when I get it I'll make a post.
Well, I just got one, and it looks and feels just as good as it does in the picture. Comes with a decent cable+adapter and the phone fits nicely. However, I am assuming because of how it's built and covers the battery cover I lose all signal within a minute of putting it into the charger...very disappointing.

Ordered this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004APXAL2/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i01
(Igadgitz)
Taken it on several runs now and it works great. Fits the GS4G perfectly! (Assuming you have a normal sized back. The thicker leather one my wife has is too tight.)
I bought this one off DealExtreme awhile ago: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/sports-gym-arm-band-case-for-samsung-i9100-galaxy-s2-black-82385
It's alright, gets the job done. It fits the 4G since the S2 is larger. The only issue is you cannot use this with a case. Only the phone can be in there.
There are others on Dealextreme that apparently have a stylus attached.
Following up. I have now run approximately 200 miles with the arm band I referenced above.
I have run in the rain.
I have run on humid days where I sweat terribly.
My phone has stayed dry through it all.
Would recommend!

I purchased a bracketron that connects to the ac vent. I first I never liked the idea. But traveling with GPS and other things running it would get hot with a high amp charger. Being on the vent certainly solved that problem and charged a lot quicker since it wasn't so hot.
I realize that Google and Amazon exist. I was looking for recommendations from other Epic owners on here.

I recommend the stock mount for the Epic 4G. It does get hot sometimes, but it has an 2.5mm socket for audio that you can run into the aux input on your car stereo and it activates car mode. I've had it for 18+ months now and haven't had any trouble with it and would be upset if it broke.
I can't remember where I got it (not Samsung), but it's probably not too hard to find.

Interesting concept. Does it move much?
No surprisingly little. I changed it a little so it squeezes the phone instead of sitting in the holder and I used small vacuum hose to protect the spots that touch the phone. Works well.
Its all on how you make it. There is no play in mine at all. I made mine so you have to slip it up under the top arms, and then rest the it on the bottom arms. then the reverse to get it out... Its very secure and never had to worry about it falling. I drive in Cleveland, so thats saying something.
. I took a fine file and filed and sharp edges made by the pliers. Then after a couple of coats with spray paint, its like I bought it from somewhere. I use no buffers and have marks on my case from my holder.
I've made a few (about 10 or so for a different phones) the key is just to take your time and make every bend as perfect as you can.
I might have to look into this. I have been slightly concerned about the fact mine is in a small case. I'm afraid the official one won't fit too well. I also wasn't actually impressed by the automatic car mode.
XxLostSoulxX, the Arkon ones look pretty nifty. Which one did you get? They have so many!

Samsung does have one and it is available at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galax...TF8&qid=1369347219&sr=8-1&keywords=ECS-K200BE

Another vote for the iBolt dock. Secure, functions well, doesn't obscure the camera, lets the S4 in a Trident Kraken/Otterbox Defender fit, etc... pricey but worth it IMHO.

It does not fit, but you can shave down soft plastic of the iBolt connector pretty easily with a x-acto/hobby knife. Or any sharp knife really. Took me 1-2 minutes to do. See my post with pictures here:

There's also a bunch of other useful info about the iBolt dock in that thread.
I'm a big fan of these
http://www.amazon.com/cell-phones-accessories/dp/B002K9IPOC
It mounts securely and it solid and it's easy to clip and unclip the phone one handed. Adjustment is also one handed via push buttons and you can rotate it to and from landscape without changing your adjustments. My S4 will be my third phone to occupy the mount.

I've tried all the better model of car docks and the Craigsdocks dock is by far the best, IMO.
http://www.craigsdocks.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-s4-note-ii-car-dock/
Charges, secure holding. Can put the phone in and remove it, all with one hand. No putting it in the dock and then plugging in the USB cable. Nope, this one is all done in one easy motion with just one hand.
A bit more $$, but it will work with any Samsung Galaxy phone. S2, S3, S4, Note II. So it's pretty much future proof as long as Samsung keeps putting the USB port on the bottom of the phone.
It also works with extended batteries and large cases. And billet aluminum. I just can't really say enough good things about this dock.

That's exactly what I was going to do, right flat on the base with industrial strength Velcro tape - don't use screws, just Velcro that thing right to it and it should work just fine that way, the CraigsDock has a very flat base on the back of it and would work great with the flat face of the ProClip vehicle mount! Just make sure to get all the screws set first, obviously, or else you'll have to peal back the one side of Velcro just to get to it. Use Velcro tape and not double-sided tape because then you can't work with it quickly or switch out components when you get a new phone as easily! PROTIP :good:
Has anyone here tried out a magnetic mount?
I really like the iOttie One Touch XL that I just got. It has a very strong suction cup and an easy one click lock/release mechanism.
I got it on a sale from Meritline.
I'd also tried another iOttie that's more compact. While the S4 fits it, it's near the end of the range so it's more of a two handed operation to put the phone in the holder. I much prefer the Easy One Touch linked above.
I've had an iottie. Works ok but with my galaxy s4 my phones has fell out a couple times. Worth the extra money for ibolt
