Hi. This is basically copy-paste of topic I have started on http://samsunggalaxysforums.com, so I hope that nobody will mind if I'll sic those two topics with links gathered on both sites. If is a problem, I won't mind if this topic will get removed.
I think that it will be nice to make a small collection of various sites and online stores where can be purchased various accessories for SGS. This way it will be easier to find some accessories and compare prices on various stores.
I have couple of sites where can be bought some stuff, but it will be great if rest of you will suggest some links, and I'll add them in this first post, so that we make nice collection of available stuff for SGS.
Links can be to collection of products on some web shop, or single product (like on Ebay), but make sure that link is to actual site where that product can be purchased (not some news about upcoming products and similar stuff), and add a short description of product or product collection.
I will make some categories of accessories, so please try to organizes your suggestions in same way, or suggest new categories.
And thanks in advance to all contributers.
P.S. If admins and moderators will agree, it will be nice to make this sticky topic, so that is easily accessible.
P.P.S. If I have made some mistake, please point to it so that I can correct it.

Tnx! I have added your link to first post.
I have added section with spare parts, but I'm not sure if this sites are legit, especially TVC-mall site, due to their low prices on most of items (not just spare parts). So it will be nice if someone can confirm that this sites are OK and reliable.

Ya, don't buy them from Samsung? There are many other retailers that sell accessories for our phone, including ebay. Read this section and you'll find people reviewing different products and mentioning where to buy them.
I'm happy with the accessoires I bought at Spider Foot, their prices are a killer:

I ordered it last sunday and today the package arrived. There is a topic about them here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733705
I read the complete thread because the price really made me wonder if this was serious but so far I read a lot of positive feedback.

Hello 8.9 users . I know a lot of people prefer leather cases or smart covers, but what i am looking for is a good soft neoprene case that will protect my tab against eventual drops or scratches, when i'm carrying it around. I don't like the ones where you have to stretch them to get the tab inside, and i much prefer the ones with a zip on the side.
I was thinking of getting something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Red-Slim-Ne...ltDomain_0&hash=item337143b173#ht_1152wt_1396 but it ships from USA and i don't like the shipping costs and delivery time. The other thing, it lists as a case for tab 10.1 too, that means the 8.9 will probably "swim" in it a little bit. Can anyone confirm this?
Has anyone found something similar to this one (or better), that is preferably shipping from Europe? Please do share what kind of neoprene case did you get for your 8.9.
Can't be that no one likes neoprene?
Yah...most cases are leather or pleather. =) Here are a couple links that might help.

iLuv ISS2102 Case for web Tablet:
http://www.amazon.com/iLuv-Padded-Neoprene-8-9-Inch-Samsung/dp/B005JK62T4
I am planning on getting the Belkin Leather case. They make a neoprene one though too. I don't think you will have too many options other than maybe making one for a DIY project. In the long run though it maybe cheaper just to the pay the shipping and get what you want. Time is money!
Make your own tablet case:

What is the shipping like for you over seas?
I just picked up this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/29064036495...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_5130wt_952
It fits perfect. The Model is the A7s. Ignore the models specifically labeled "8.9", they're too big. The A7s fits perfect with no stretching. It's not neoprene, but a kind of pleather. However, it has a memory foam layer that makes it very cushy. It zips all the way open on three sides. I also got this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Case-for-Ga...Accessories&hash=item45ffdeff77#ht_2358wt_814 which also fits perfectly. When the plastic cover is on, it still fits great in the memory foam case.

Looks good. Can you post pictures when you get everything all set up?
Here's an ebay post with a different colored plastic cover, but is the same thing. More pictures. www.ebay.com/itm/Galaxy-Tab-8-9-P73...?pt=US_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item3a702df2dd. As far as the case, it looks pretty much identical to the pictures in the listing. The fit is exact for The 8.9. There is no extra space, either height or width.
I might be a lil late here, but I just recieved the following case, and love it.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006WBVU50/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/192-3119395-3706453
most of the cases i picked up were for all galaxy devices so my tablet has a lot of free space to bounced around.
Just wanna let you guys know that i recently got the iLuv sleeve for my 8.9. If you want neoprene and whole lot of protection and soft materials, stop looking, because this is the best one. It fits perfectly, no bouncing around. Payed 24 euros for it, but it's worth it.
Has little triangles on both sides, that add to overall rigidity and extra protection if it accidentally drops, since they soak up the impact. It also has a pocket on the outside, where you can put your smartphone or other accessories. All in all, it's a very nice and high quality sleeve, i'm very happy with it. Here are some photos:

Hi all,
Just wanted to upgrade that after spending a fair bit on an iPhone 5 brodit holder only to sell the phone for a GS3 and purchasing a GS3 holder (for skins), I really did not want to splash out more £££ for a S4 holder if and when it comes out from Brodit.
So today I tried the GS4 in the holder. Because of the small change in height between the two versions, the S4 fits perfectly in the S3 Brodit holder. I use the holder for skins which has no grip from the sides but instead a charger port at the bottom and a spring loaded clip at the top.
Charges fine so no issues there - also I >think< the ciggy plug is 2a anyway so it charges pretty quickly
Give me a shout if anyone has any questions about it.
Oh the plug is not made to tell the S4 it's in car-mode so all that is manual. I have an NFC tag at the back of the holder that used to switch the S3 into Driving Mode so I can do something similar for the S4 instead of spending money on another holder which would only potentially add the auto-dock functionality.

Hello,
Thank you for you feedback. Can you post pictures of your Brodit holder with the S4 ? Do you have a link for the Brodit holder ?
Thank you.
I was about to post to see if anyone had tried the S4 in various S3 holders. I have a brodit setup in my car now for my old Nexus S and I wanted to upgrade it for the S4. I emailed proclip and they said they are working on the S4, but don't have a release date. If the S3 works, I'll get that now. A bonus is that my wife has an S3 so she can use it too. One issue with the case friendly holder is that it's $110. That's a little steep. I didn't have a case on my Nexus S, so I was able to use the normal holder that does grip on the sides. The S3 and S4 are a little different in this regard, so not sure that the S3 normal holder for $60 would work.
The other (cheaper) option I've been looking at is to get the iBolt xProDock for $40 plus AMPS mounting plate ($7) to connect it to the brodit vehicle adapter. Seems like there would be an extra step involved with attaching the charging cable each time, but you wouldn't have to connect audio by aux/bluetooth like you do with the brodit/proclip holder. It's also $70 cheaper.
Has anyone else tried the S4 in S3 docks meant to be used without cases?
sorry for the delay
So the one I got was part number: 512409 and was purchased from Brodit but of their eBay UK site (I'm in the UK)
It's the one that allows skins though works fine with the s-view case as long as you fold the "lid" back behind the phone. I had the same with the S3 with a similar case. Also has the charger built into this one and charges quickly without any issues.

Actually looking at this pic, it looks like the screen protector is peeling at the top, it is not and the protector does not even cover that bit. I think it's a bit of fluff in the flap for the case that's been folded back so don't worry :- )

Passive holder is already out, and so I'm guessing active holder can't be that far behind.
Must have only just come out but remember the passive one you linked does not allow skins or any type of case on the phone so if you have one, you would have to remove it to then slide into the holder.
The GS3 one I posted above allows skins - as you can just about see, I have the s-view case on but you can have the clip on cases too

Not usually - at least not for the S4 or the S5.. Maybe some manufacturer will see the gap and fill it for the Note 4, but I wouldn't be holding my breath.

There are 2 different cases on Amazon that fit the S5+wireless charging back... In fact, Samsung's own protect case for the S5 works with the charging back (I should know, I have both...).
That's why I'm surprised the Note 4 samsung protect cover doesn't fit ... Because the S5 one does.

I think we'll agree to disagree on that.. Yes, you can get some of the TPU covers on the S5, but it's very clear that they're not made to accommodate the extra bulk. I tried the Samsung TPU case on the S5 - it looked horrendous and rendered the ports inaccessible without me performing contortions every time I had to use them. I had to cut it to get it off the device.
As far as I'm aware, no manufacturers make a case to accommodate the wireless charging backs (Note x, S4, S5). Some kind of fit, rarely well.

Both of the S5 cases I have fit perfectly, and specifically said they were made to work with the wireless charging back - including the samsung one I got.
I agree regular s5 cases don't fit right. The two I'm talking about do, as they were made to.
One is by diztronic:

the other is this one by Samsung :

(note the comments that all agree it fits with the charging back)
My only point in this is that samsung, and other 3rd parties, HAVE made cases that fit correctly with the wireless charging cover.
Hopefully someone will do the same for the note 4.
Where i can buy this cover? Any online link pls?

Same for me.. I have a Diztronic case which looks similar to that S5 one, but for my S4 with the Samsung Wireless Charging cover, and it fits perfectly and in no way covers or misaligns any of the ports, IR, or mic holes.. it's perfect. I got if off Amazon also.
As for Note 4 tho, I would like to find similar products as I intend on purchasing the Note 4 Wireless Charging Cover and would probably want to wrap it in a case to protect it if/when I do drop it.. hopefully they start making some soon.

Yep. That Diztronic case is specially made for the OEM wireless charging back on the S5. Anyone saying otherwise hasn't done their research. I own it, and it's a perfect fit. It won't fit properly on the standard S5 back since it's made for the thicker wireless back.
I'm also hoping that we get a case that's designed to work with the OEM wireless charging back. Samsung missed the boat on not making the protective case compatible.
Maybe we can convince Diztronic to make one for the Note the

They haven't released a case for the Note 4 with the standard back yet, so I don't see that happening anytime soon.
I wish someone would make a qi case similar to the LG g3 case that replaces the back cover and ads a small bumper....
The genuine Note 4 S-View flip cover with integrated Qi is on Samsung's mobile accessories site. $69.
What a terribly huge mistake I have made.
I bought both because I wanted my phone to be both wirelessly-chargeable and safe (I had a charging PAD under the original cover and a bumper case for Note 3).
I can't have both.
What frustrates me is that if I took the previous approach and buy crappy chinese items, I would not have this problem. The charging pad did not create such a huge bulge and the protective cases would still fit. I wanted quality so I chose Samsung for both, and all I have is disappointment and a huge invoice.
My wife and I both got an S6 (mine is Verizon and hers is Sprint through our companies). I bought the Samsung charging pucks off Amazon Warehouse Deals and they came from China so I do not know if that has anything to do with my problem.
First, the phones would charge then pause then charge then pause over and over again. I corrected this issue by connecting each charger to its own dedicated power (I was using this and its apparently 2.1A combined: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=109&cp_id=10907&cs_id=1090701&p_id=9195&seq=1&format=2). So now we can charge but the location is extremely fickle.
Second, now that we are charging, if I use anything but an ultra slim case, it does not work. I have the Ringke Slim and have her using a cheap hybrid case from Best Buy. I have several other cases but they do not work (Speck Mightyshell, Rinke Max, etc...)
My question is several really.
- This is my first experience with wireless charging, do other wireless chargers perform better or is this par for the course?
- Is the fact that these came direct from China an issue? Maybe a newer version of the puck works better?
- Has anyone else had solid experience charging with a larger case? Mainly the Speck Mightyshell because my wife loves it.
Thank you for all your help XDA community!
That's the sign of a weak charging coil. I've used the Samsung puck (ECP-920), several Nokia chargers (DT-910, DT-920, DT-601, DC-50), and the Panasonic Qi pad. . I've used the Casemate Tough, the Ballistic Jewel, and several Spigen cases, which vary in thickness between 1mm-4mm, and never had issues with any of the above chargers save the DC-50, which behaved exactly as you described. The rest stay charging without constantly disconnecting and reconnecting to the phone, which also causes it to heat up.
In your shoes, I'd spend the extra $10 to get better chargers - there's $20 chargers on Amazon which have good reviews and seem to work properly. Heck, the old Nokia DT-900 works great, I'm told, and since it's discontinued sells fairly cheap as well.
I've already returned the DC50 for another Samsung puck, which was on sale for $30 or so at the time. I wouldn't advise keeping those cheap chargers, since they'll behave similarly badly with most Qi devices.

Thank you for the reply. Just to note, they are genuine "Samsung" pucks. They may be fake but were purchased off of Amazon. I will look into this.
Is this an unequivocal "best" charging pad?
I've had similar problems with the starting and stopping of charging. Usually, though, it's due to not being on the right spot, exactly. I can usually get a sweet spot and it will stay a lot better. I also noticed more problems with it when I had a slicker case on the phone, and I think it would shift a bit on the puck when people would walk around the house.
Also, as I mentioned, I had no trouble charging through a case. My wife briefly had some case from Best Buy before switching to an Otter Box Commuter, and I had a Spigen Ultra Hybrid before switching to a Verus Iron Bumper. None have had any trouble with the Samsung charger.
I will also throw out that I am just now getting my first experience with a different wireless charger, having bought a "Freedy" one from Amazon to put on my desk at work. It seems fairly decent thus far, though I did notice yesterday that it seemed to get really warm when I left it on there for a long time (not an issue with the Samsung charger). I am going to monitor that more over the next few days.
I wouldn't call the Samsung one the absolute best, but it works well for me. You have the square ones (EP-PG900) or the round ones (EP-PG920)? I've the latter, which I bought in store. You may want to RMA them if they're the round ones and won't charge the phone even when the Galaxy logo is on the coil (the area inside the rubber circle) . The PG900s have been causing issues with some folks, from what I've read here and in Amazon.
Beyond that, I'd suggest getting a reputable brand for the charger - the Aukey one gets good reviews, for example. I've got quite a few Nokia chargers, and they've not let me down yet... except the DC50 wireless battery pack.

Just because they have Samsung printed on them doesn't make them OEM. I see 10$ pucks on eBay that have Samsung print on them. They come from China and I would bet money they never seen an actual Samsung manufacturing plant

That might be a fake. Did you get it from Amazon or a reseller using the Marketplace? The Yamsung thing is one I've never seen, and the Qi logo is in the wrong place and drawn incorrectly. Also, scan the QR code to see if it takes you to Samsung's site.

I did. I am not at home but I scanned the QR code from the photo and it has some japanese jibberish. If the one I ordered works better, I will return these and update this thread. Hopefully this helps someone.
My QR code reader couldn't read the code off the image you uploaded, and on my pad the code's actually just the serial number and model number, not the URL I had remembered.
If you didn't see a "sold by Amazon" link on the purchase you made, I'd say you got a fake.
This will have short reviews and only links to things that i liked, not the failures.
*Note to those that don't know how Amazon Add-on special prices work, it's a Prime feature and requires you to spend a minimum of $25 to take advantage of the price, the item with the Add-On price can go towards the $25 (minimum) total.
Helpful info:
This watch takes 20mm bands, pretty common so decent selection
Necessities:
Watch Spring Bar Installer kit $5-$7 Amazon: this is for 3rd party watch bands that use a spring bar to hold the band to the watch, samsung bands won't need them.
Link Removal Tool $5-$12 on Amazon: This is necessary for adjusting the length on metal bands or adding links if the band provides them.
Spring Bar Sets, I found a good kit with mediocre quality links for $6 (Amazon Prime Add-On price): Sometimes you'll come across bands that don't come with the spring bar to attach the watch to the device, this kit is super inexpensive and comes with at least 10 pairs of each size. So if you have a Moto 360 or other watch that supports standard band sizes and the Gear S2 Classic, then this is a great value.
*Note they aren't really necessities, but it costs about $10 to have a jeweler do it for you, so spend the $15-$20 up front and be able to do these on your time.
Accessories:
1) Pebble Steel Band $10 (On Sale), $15 regularly with Prime:
Pros: Looks nice, technically works with the watch, that's it.
Cons: Since it doesn't span the gap and has two prongs at the end of them it slides around on the bar that you'll have to buy. Also trying to remove the links was a headache, and I'm not a patient guy.
Conclusion: Don't Buy.
2)Skinomi 6 pack screen protectors $7 with Prime:
Pros: Inexpensive, you get six
Cons: Everything, these are those annoying rubbery screen protectors so they deform while you try to apply them and then that messes up the glue and it causes a rainbow speckling effect making the screen harder to read, also these don't cover the whole screen.
Conclusion: Don't Buy
3)20mm Voguestrap Allstrap TPU Band in Black $5 (Amazon Prime Add-On):
Pros: It feels durable, it is TPU which is stiffer than a rubber/silicon band, but softer than plastic. It's a nice utilitarian band, you can take it in the shower with you and it won't smell or deform like the leather band can. Speaking of smell this didn't have one, sometimes TPUs can have a strong chemically smell, especially cheap ones. Mine came with the spring bars to attach it to my device. This also has a lot of sizing holes in it too, so I would be amazed if you couldn't find a hole to fit you.
Cons: It's kind of ugly and it clashes with the watch aesthetics.
Conclusion: Buy, especially at that price, it's good to have a ugly band that you can wear to the gym and not worry about scratching, stinking, rusting, what not. Though due to the width of the band (about 18mm) it's not very female friendly.

TPU Watchband image link if the preview doesn't show up. Sorry.
Update 12/15/15 New Bands and Glass Screen Protector:
4)DeBeers Ballistic Nylon Band (Black)~$16 after shipping and handling:
Pros: Decent quality, length and durability.
Cons: Real pain to install. The nylon is so stiff and just a bit too big for the watch even though it says 20mm. You can shove it in there, but then trying to get the pins in the hole to hold the band is an exercise in patience that I didn't have. I was cursing and raging for an hour per band, and after about 30 or 40 attempts got them in. Then the real ugliness shows its face, it hurts to wear. The excess material is left at sharp 90 degree angles so if it's loose it chafes, if it's tight it stabs and there are 4 spots of pain. Then the band loop are both stationary so any excess material just sticks straight out and gets caught on everything.
Conclusion: Don't Buy
5) 20mm Black Stainless Steel Band $11, Prime Eligible
Pros: Great band, inexpensive, mine came with the spring bar. Though if you need to remove links then I either recommend a jeweler or buy the kit I listed earlier. Decent heft, just a great band, my new standard.
Cons: Not great for hairy arms, I don't have a lot on mine but it tugs every so often. It is hard to remove links, though I'm new at it so it could be that.
Conclusion: Buy, great band, great price and I think it compliments the watch nicely
Here's a picture of it: Metal Band
So that's it for now. Hope this helps.
Coming Soon: Glass screen protectors, Skins (one decal that's brushed metal, others are clear), metal bands, nylon-canvas band. Most of the stuff I will buy will be black since I'm spending money on it and that's the color I like. If you have suggestions or additions feel free to post them Thanks, hope this helps you guys out there.
