I had CM running with Clockwork 2.5.1.1 but it couldn't read the sd card. So i installed clockwork 2.5.1.2 but then i got errors on the view sonic screen. So i reinstalled 2.5.1.1 but the genius that i am i partitioned the SD card. Now i have to image to load.
How can i gain access to the internal SD to copy firmware back on it. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks Guys!
No need to, get a microsd card and use that.

I'm not quite sure I'm following you.
I thought partitioning the sdcard only effects the /data and /sdcard partitions.
Still don't understand what your real problem is.

If you did in fact get CWR reinstalled, you should be able to connect it to your PC, go to Mounts and Storage, and mount USB Mass Storage. That should allow you to copy your ROM image over to the device.

You can use ADB.
"adb push FILENAMEHERE /sdcard"
Thank you for this. You helped me big time.
G-Tablet Full Restore your Gtablet using nvflash - refresh to factory
Pensacola Computers has a step by step You Tube video on how to restore your G-TAB to Factory ROM. This is the best I've seen so far on how to flash your tablet back to factory ROM after you have bricked it. Hats off to Pensacola Computers.

i tried to upload it with no sd card ad it stuck on the HTC screen.
i cant format the sd card by the recovery.
HELP!!
have you tried using super wipe?
it should fix the partitions and if not that have you tried putting it into a computer and formatting it there?

do you have an sdcard reader so you can try useing the card on the computer without the phone if not try taking the card out then going into recovery putting the card back in and then go into recovery again and try to format that worked once for me
ok have you tried formatting on the computer instead of the memory card?
also a friend of mine should be coming on to help in a lil but try to format on the computer...
if not turn off then take out sd card and try again

so your good now right?
I have a HTC Desire,
Rooted my phone with Unrevoked 3.31, everything went fine.
As soon as I got into recovery menu, Clockwork, I cannot mount my SD Card.
When I go to - Install zip from SD Card, and I'm trying to read my sd card to load the ROM zip, it says that Its unable to mount it.
I've seen a couple of posts with information and tried to follow suggestions, but no luck.
Thank you.

Same here. +1....
+1 I'm having this same issue. Been looking for a resolution for 4 HOURS now...
+1 for me...
Same issue here, was there a resolution?
Had this issue with my friends card as well. we ended up pulling the card out and throwing it into a computer. then we reformated it as fat32 put it back in the phone. and it worked. we also went from Clockworkmod 3.0.0.5 back to 2.5.x.x Alot of ppl ive talked to are having issues with 3.0.0.5 and some roms/mod/kernals cant be flashed with it.
Also make sure the sd card is not locked i know that sounds like a stupid statement but it needs to be checked lol
i also ran into this problem,, all i did was format my sdcard.. and if u have another card laying around try using it... if formatting through computer does not work, try formatting it through your android phone
Any Luck on the SD card issue
I have the same issue.
no ROM installed so can't boot.
Can't mount SD in recovery (got clockwork mod 2.5.0.7)
tried formatting SD, no luck.
Any ideas??
Hey guys also couldnt mount sd card at all either. Took out my sim card and it works fine...... Telstra sim card. WTF?

Anyone figure this out?? I had trouble flashing Kings Alliance ROM and I had to do a battery pull and then I wanted to get some dust out around my SD card so I unplugged it and not when I'm in recovery it can't mount. PLEASE HELP?!
+1 here. i formated in windows for fat32. after it i wanted to flash a new rom, but in recovery my phone tells me, that he canĀ“t mount my sdcard.
I previously had bricked my Xoom and was able to get it back to stock (with help from the forum). I then rooted it and was going to try flash BRD's Kernal, 3.1 update, bootloader, ect. I DL'd the files and saved them to my SD card. Popped the SD card in. Rebooted into Clockword and could not see my external SD to flash from. I went into the advanced setting in CWM and checked to see if the SD card was mounted... It wasn't. I don't even have the mount/unmount SD option anymore.
I went to the forums and kept getting looped back to the Clockwork Mod 3.2.0.0 thread. Is there a way to push this file through ADB? I'm new to ADB so I don't know if it's even possible. If so which file? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Just to add to the post, I can't see the external card anywhere. Not in the file manager or on my PC, via USB. I've formatted the SD card in my Droid 2 and my PC. That's all that I can think of to add to this.
You can push the recovery in fastboot. Make sure your CWM is version 3, not the version 4. Get it from the forums, in fact the link in my sig for all 20 stock images has everything you need.

if you loaded 4.0.0.4 already and if you have rom manager you can scroll to the bottom and choose "All ClockworkMode Recoveries" and choose 3.0.2.5, then go to thread i linked and flash that..
Thats how far my knowledge goes
Hope it helps
I've copied Turkawa's post as an alternative to pushing files through adb. If you go the adb route you need to download all of the necessary files on your computer. Also make sure to only flash the image file (.img) not a zip file through adb.
Good luck!

If you can't see your SD card anywhere that is problem number one. If you have a SD card in your droid2, put it in the xoom while it is powered off and boot into clockwork. If you can read the card you have narrowed your problem to the card itself. Try using Panasonic SD formatter (Google for the free app) to format the card and try again.
I messed up bad!!
i wanted to set path for internal sd card as external and switched the two mount points in vold.fstab i do not remember exact script last paragraph was using eagleblood v.08. when media scanner finished it said sd card damaged reformat so i did. Stupid Stupid!!! currently i do not have an actual sd card. i am running clockwork recovery v5.0.1.6S from there cant mount I cannot MOunt ****!!
no internal no cache nothing i wiped everything u can have fixed permissions the only thing i havent done is partition sd card. and im afraid if i do that i will take this royal **** up and Cristen it. i can get software all on computer but then again i do not have sd card and even if i did how could i posible load files onto it?
can i reinstall clockwork via nv flash and also flash rom through nv
**** AGHHH Thank you in advance for any ideas
also
I was also wondering if i got my hands on a sd card with a rom on it would it be able to mount as i screwed with that file Am i totally screwed
DAMIT DAMIT DAMIT
I would suggest flashing Clockwork with NVFlash and then trying to flash a rom through recovery.
tried that
nothing will mount in recovery.
not the cache not the internal
i havent got a sd card so never tried that but being that i switched script on file im doubting even if it would work

Recovery doesn't read any scripts you changed in the OS. In recovery the memory and sd will be as they are designated in the hardware. You should be able to flash from an sd card even if your internal memory is hosed. If not do the new NVFLash full GB recovery method to return your phone to GB stock. That will fix your partitions.
I second what jboxer said to do I would just reture to stock GB. Make sure that you NVflash CWM to the external SD card not the internal. Dont worry man this phone is almost unbrickable well at least permanently anyway. You will be fine. Good luck man
I'm at a loss. I don't know where I went wrong so maybe someone has some suggestions to lead me down the right path, Please and Thanks.
I've restored with odin and heimdall, used entropy and zen's kernel, but for some reason I cannot access the external sd card in red CWM. I've flashed cm9 so the blue CWM direct link to sd card works. In red when you use external is says no files found but exist. The files are there. You can access through root explorer or my files and they work. I've reformatted both internal and external. Every now and then I see something about no app2sd partition.
Im in a a bad reception and wifi area and won't be home for a month. Don't want to seem ungrateful if I don't reply back right away. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for any help.
If you are referring to the CWM menu options and status messages relating to sd-ext that is not your external sd card. See this guide for more info:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1799917
To confirm whether your external sd card is available from red CWM, you can use ADB (if you have it) and check for files in /sdcard/external_sd. If you don't have ADB, you can load the Infuse Toolkit from CWM recovery (see link in my sig), run the Aroma File Manager option and navigate to the same location highlighted above. If you can see files or copy files to that location you are good.
If you have recently returned from JB and previously upgraded to JB without removing your external SD card, this may have caused your issue. See this guide from andros11 for recommended upgrade JB process:

Thanks Zen! I will try the adb route. I might not be explaining it right but the files are visible by any means besides red cwm. I will do so more work and get back. Thanks again for giving me another way to look at it.
Edit: I always keep my zip files on my external card. I was always able to access them with red cwm ( maybe they were still visible on the main menu). I stay on gb rom's. I only tried cm9 for the blue recovery and if i remember there was a menu option for the external or internal sd card ( sorry I forget) but my zip files were there and accessible. I thought in the red cwm i accessed them in the ext-sd option. I use your toolkit too. You the man and thanks for your help.

From the aroma file manager, i can see the files on the external card but they don't show in the red cwm. I can work around since I can still move the files but it is driving me crazy. LOL Thanks again. I'll keep trying. This was a warranty replacement phone and I don't have a spare sd card with me. I've never been on jb with this phone but my card might have.

This appears to be a...ahem... "feature " of the red CWM recovery. I copied a zip file to my external sd and attempted to access it via the install zip from sd menu option. No luck...
So.. Your ext sd card is fine - just make sure to keep all your CWM zips on the internal sd card.
