Hi all people ...i was just looking around in forums for a nexus one theme but there was not even a single good one out there but ten the Darkedge UI for motodroid got my attention and just wanted to have it on my nexus one so i just downloaded the MotoDroid version of morph and installed on my nexus using metamorph application and guess what it worked as a charm. It does not even lags and yes I have not modded any thing in the zip file.

just install using metamorph as a regular theme file.
I have also uploaded the icon pack of Darkedge. Apply it with Metamorph as a regular theme and it will update all the apps that you have and if you don't have that app then it will skip that task
--"use the nexus live wallpaper but change colour scheme to ZION and background to dark. NOW IT LOOKS PERFECT"
--use the icon pack morph to update the icons
--and the app morph in the original thread is the morph for updating the theme of some applications.......be carefull as some applications such as facebook.....are updated with black background with black text on them.....making it hard to read.

OK......this slider in metamorphs settings is.....that it will delay the restart process after the theme is applied.....so if u set the slider too up then it will take very long to start the process resulting in geting stuck.....or if you set it too low....then it will restart too often making it extremely hard to copy all files in system.....and resulting in reboot sequence and eventually you will have to flash the rom again....so keep trying with change in the delay slider.....with gradual changes as if you were overclocking.... ..

Just apply all and it will reboot
looks good; any chance this will work on CM5.0.7-t1 for N1?
would definitely try it out if it can work on cyanogen's test rom
not to be that guy, but did you ask for permission from the theme makers before porting this? It's not exactly warez, but it'd be the courteous thing to do.

Doesn't sound like he ported it. Looks like he took a chance of it working on the N1 and is reporting that it does. -- That being said...it'll be cool if someone could port it over as an update.zip!

Hello all. Here is a little theme from me called Gator Boots.
There is a lot of history behind this theme. Too much, but basically it was my touch up to Sense. Go easy on me, like most things, this is a work in progress. Hope y'all enjoys it.
Thanks to many people so Ima just say thanks XDA and SDX for the valued support and knowledge.
Special thanks to Toast, cuz that is how I got root and I eat it too. Mmmm.
And special thanks to Flipz cuz I'm using his Rom too.
*P.S. It does not say flipz on the bottom*
*Do a Nandroid backup just incase!*
This morph should be good to use with any rom with Sense UI.
How to use:
-Install Metamorph (market app)
-Extract theme zip (Use metamorph to open the theme to your sdcard)
-Apply all! (Or you can do different parts if you like)
*Note:
-When applying all, Market will force close. this is normal. just press ok.
-After applying framework-res mod, phone will reboot.
-Initially, pic won't show in preview, Stericson knows of this bug. (Special thanks to him for his amazing tools.)
Well that's about it.
Enjoy!
[Burst] Gator Boots

Extra:
If you wish to go back to the stock Sense look after using this morph, you can use Metamorph to flash the following file to return to the stock look.

Find more info at SDX-Developers.com
Get some!
Nice to see you developing for the EVO. I really liked some of your themes and icons for the Moment
Hey thanks for the support!
I got a couple emails on this so I'm going to restate that, yes you can use this with DC or Flipz or any Sense Rom.
Why am I not using an update zip? Because metamorph is easier. And 1 file can be used for multiple Roms. And you can choose to only apply certain parts of the theme if you wish.
Don't be shy. Give it a go.
anyway to make it a zip? :>
also i like the theme except for the clear lockscreen hehe

I love this theme! Genius that you can apply bits and pieces. I applied the font, which is crisp, and the "tweaks," which seems to clean up a lot of the taskbar stuff and gives you a clear notification bar.
Dev - do you plan to add to this theme or tweak it anymore? Well done, sir. This is my fav so far. Thanks.
Hey y'all, I'm creating this thread to showcase stuff I would like to share with everyone. Most of it is still pretty crappy but I think there are a couple gems hidden.
I will post the themes I have made thus far as well as images I have found and made look good on the phone screen.
Many thanks to everyone that has helped me!! This community is the best
Especially Stericson, I am lovin' ninjamorph.
If you want to give me some money great, send it here or somewhere like this.
I'm poor but it doesn't matter, I'm still better of than many others.

Does a live wallpaper normally need SD card and Phone call permissions?
Also, that power control widget is pretty slick. Is that default in Moto's version of android?

I don't know if it normally needs those permissions ...I got the same with the Samsung galaxy wallpapers as well...
And yeah it is slick looking...hopefully a dev will port it over for us
These LW ask for phone permission because something in the LW changes when you miss a call.
For example in the Dandelion LW one of the Dandelions pulses when you miss a call.
Dunno what happens in this one though.

As for the power strip, it looks like Switchpro...
Is the boot animation in the system dump?
edit: Just noticed above that it may not be missed calls that make this LWP require permissions. Doh!
Updated first POST!
Why are you making a post with a link to your blog and put all links back to xda in it?
Why don't you just edit the first post to add all links to xda threads directly ?
I had everything in one central place, and only added new XDA links as new things came out....the rest and beginning were download links/mirrors.
Didn't think it hurt anyone since everybody's thread with several different people's mods were appropriately linked and credited.
I also didn't want to open a thread and call it a theme that would seem to take credit or any of the love away from the individual development that made some of the mods.
I have also found that when things are centralized it is easier for me, and being able to see all pics/mods in one place seems easiest.
And no I wont lie and say that no self promotion was involved, but I will say that I think it was done in an appropriate manner.
If I am wrong let me know.
What's new with the new keyboard?
Not good to have so many mods here...lol...jk..
I may be wrong but I don't think that Voice input button functioned with X rip...maybe wrong haven't checked ...but voice works here and froyo compatible.
EDIT :
all keyboard has been reported in Droid X port thread here...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=709519
I hadn't followed that or checked until now.
invisiblek would be the best person to ask...he is kicking butt in keyboard ports.

Both of these come out of the Hero GSM forum, but they are proven to work for us too. These are the same theme, you just have a choice about which way you apply it: MetaMorph or flashable .zip
MetaMorph Method
Original Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=864931
Just follow the directions in that thread, and you will be good to go. I have tested those, and they work just fine. The obvious advantage there is that you can choose what features you want. Note, this will not work for people running aospMOD because the theme needs the ability to change the font color. This is allowed in the CM roms and not in aospMOD.
Flashable .zip Method
Original thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=864451
After you apply the .zips you like from that, you might want to apply this MetaMorph: http://www.mediafire.com/file/d9j2fiddrg0gq9y/Gingerbread_CM61_Visual_Fix.zip (credit to BlaqkAudio for this). It gives you more accurate signal strength, although it isn't necessary for the theme to work.
Finally, you are going to want to apply the Status Bar tweak. To do that click menu > Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > User Interface > Tweaks Extras > Select a theme > gingerbread. Let it apply, reboot, and you are done!
Apparently, there is an issue after installing the .zip version of this theme, the Roaming Indicator On text on the lockscreen and notification pulldown. Try reading this post in the Cyanogen forums: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/2225-roaming-indicator-on-htc-cdma-hero/page__view__findpost__p__23422 It worked well for me when I had that issue.
Have fun!
Yes, this is a double post, but I have a question about metamorphs in general that directly relates to this theme. I applied the animations morph w/o knowing what the animations looked like. Now that I know what they look like, I don't like them. I made a nandroid before morphing, but its giving me a md5 mismatch. How do I revert? Is there a stock morph? Thanks for the help I did ask this in the other thread also, just for the record.
EDIT: nevermind, i just reflash CM6.1, and they are all gone. its good now
Won't work for AOSP because you can't change the font color the same way you can with CM.

Good to know. Thanks for that.
Thanks for the heads up. Only theme I have ever used, looks really good overall.
Dang, would love this on aosp!
theme updated to 1.3.1. individual zips for each part, froyo animation revert packages, fix tab bugs, fix font location.
a question someone might know the answer to: is it possible that we could apply the .zip that is the base of this metamorph theme? id much rather have the full theme, considering its much easier to apply. but i dont know, its in the gsm hero forum, would that mess up stuff for us? i dont wanna try it, if you didnt get the hint. even with a nandroid.
We may need someone to create a signal fix for this, since CDMA signal strength is different from GSM signal strength.
EDIT: Also, does anyone have screenshots to show what notifications look like? For instance, when I applied the CM Black stock theme, the standard signal, battery, etc icons didn't look that great. I was wondering what stock SMS, email, etc notifications would look like.
I flashed the update zip mentioned in the post with no gsm-cdma horror story. I did have to manually change the clock color, and I don't think the zip changes widgets, but I still have the bar, pop ups, and a working phone.
**Edit, got the notification bar text and clock fixed, by selecting the correct xml in ui tweaks
I just applied this and it's super slick. Here's a "signal fix" I quickly whipped up: http://www.mediafire.com/file/d9j2fiddrg0gq9y/Gingerbread_CM61_Visual_Fix.zip

"KrispysGingerbread_1.3_Animation.zip" contains the gingerbread-style animations metamorph and you should put that in the "AndroidThemes" directory on your sdcard as well. This package also contains a metamorph with the original Froyo-style animations in case you want to go back.

thanks for providing that, it looks AMAZING.
I used to use it the other month, but stopped because it seemed like a update to Titanium broke it a bit (in the program, some letters would appear as boxes), so I changed back to default, and forgot all about it until flashing this theme, and deciding to give it another shot. So far, definitely hasn't broken anything for me. It's almost like the font that comes with this theme, but bolder I suppose? Definitely more spacing in between the letters and isn't as hard to read, that's for sure.
