Hey guys I have got a Rogers moto quench. It is rooted and I am using a custom rom. I am happy with the phone so far. The only thing is that I can't use it when I am out of Canada as it is locked by Rogers. Is there any free way to unlock it? thx

I'm a noob about rooting phone and I have a few general questions about that.
I bought a Telus LG G2 (Canada), that I unlocked to use on Fido (Canada) network.
• Say I want to root the phone, what ROM should I use? Telus or Rogers?
• In the future, if there are updates, will I get them even if I unlocked the phone?

Looks like Motorola & AT&T decided to release 5.1 around mid January. Anybody try flashing the ATT firmware on a Cricket-branded XT1045 (Moto G LTE)?
