[THEME][CM6.1 NIGHTLY] EvoHybrid - EVO 4G Themes and Apps

This theme is based on the iNexus theme and several other themes and theme elements. All credit goes to the individuals that have created them, I simply took what I liked and merge them all in one.
NOTE: I have attached the apks that have been modified. If an experienced dev can turn this into a flashable zip that would be great.
Features:
- themed pop-up menu icons
- fully themed notification bar icons
- themed power notification widget icons
- skinned pop-up windows
- skinned dialer
- some other visual enhancements
Installation:
Nandroid before flashing or installing anything.
Use adb to push the files to your favorite CM6.1 Nightly
adb remount
adb push contacts.apk system/app
adb push vending.apk system/app
adb push accountandsyncsettings.apk system/app
adb push framework-res.apk system/framework
reboot immediately
Unzip the iNexusColorBar to sdcard/cmtheme
then go Settings>CyanogenMod Settings>User Interface>Tweaks and extras>Select a theme>and choose the iNexusColorBar
reboot again to see all changes
I hope this works.

Though unfortunate, system apps usually have to be pushed to the phone through adb for them to function correctly.
Attached is a flashable version of the framework-res.apk. I would exercise caution when flashing this though. The framework has changed several times in the last few nightlies. That being said, if this theme was created on a recent build, then it will probably only work with that specific build because of the changes to the framework. Just a thought. Make a backup and you will be fine.

Love the font but I wish everything was red. The mix of red and green looks a bit strange.
I'm too lazy to edit the htc resources apk... .9 pngs are no fun, and with no /system write access, its a pita to test themes. I need my phone right now and seeing as how vzw is a cdma carrier, its a pain to switch phones. Believe me, the green bothers me just as much as it bothers you guys... but I'm just gonna wait it out till koush ports cm to our phones. Having the source for .9 pngs makes things a lot easier for theming, and I don't want to waste any time.

Hey thanks for everything love all the red...its understandable that certain things will remain green....one thing tho...the date isn't centered properly on the unlock screen. The tab you slide down..
bump for less green... yay for "borrowing" from others. go donate to that guy somehow. Check out first post.
Good to see some of my work getting over to the incredible. As soon as I get some time ill try and port over my themes.
This is a nice and minimalist tweak. Thank you.
2 questions:
1) If I load just the framework file, will the stock Droid fonts stay in use? (would prefer those over your modded version)
2) Any chance you'd consider doing a blue version? I think the blue mixed with the un-editable sense green would go a little better than the red.

How to: Transparent Notification/Window Shade in Froyo -

Transparency MOD:
If you want to have a transparent notification window (the window shade), you can follow these steps:
Required:
- a working adb connection (you will need a PC because of the executable below)
- a transparent status_bar_background.png (if you do not have your own, the one i used is attached)
- xUltimate-TP.exe (attached)
- a file archiver (i used WinRAR)
Note: This should work on any Android phone running Froyo.
Firstly, you need to copy services.jar and framework-res.apk from the Android Phone to your PC
1.) Reboot into Recovery (fake-flash, Unrevoked, or adb recovery, they will all work)
2.) adb shell
mount /system
adb pull /system/framework/services.jar c:\
adb pull /system/framework/framework-res.apk c:\
3.) Optional: Copy the framework-res.apk and services.jar files to a separate directory.
4.) Copy xUltimate-TP.exe to the same directory the files mentioned above are located in.
Run xUltimate-TP.exe and wait for it to say it is finnished (it takes about 2 minutes to complete)
5.) Open framework-res.apk in WinRAR and go -> res -> drawable-hdpi-v4
Copy your status_bar_background.png into this folder inside WinRAR by dragging it over the window.
Close WinRAR
6.) Copy the patched services.jar and framework-res.apk to c:\
7.) adb shell
rm /system/framework/services.jar
rm /system/framework/framework-res.apk
**CTRL+C (to exit back to the windows shell)
adb push c:\services.jar /system/framework/services.jar
adb push c:\framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk
adb reboot
And that's it.
I have attached my patched services.jar and framework-res.apk
If you are running Defrost 2.0+, using them may work for you (I am using DeFrost 2.4).
Major props to:
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/xeudoxus/47283-release-xultimate.html
as it is his executable that patches the transparency.
Josh.

Hi there,
I apologize if this seems to be the incorrect sub forum to post in, however the thread i made in Themes has no responses after a week or so.
On to my question.
I have flashed many froyo roms for the desire, but they all have one thing in common - they do not have a transparent window shade/notification thingo.
I dismantled a few themes with transparent windowshades, copied them across to my framework-res.apk file and pushed it back to system/framework, but nothing changes. Well, a couple of the png's i have overwrote in the framework-res file caused the window shade to change colour (for example in the theme where the windowshade had a dark transparent background, the background turned black).
Is there a limitation somewhere preventing desire users of froyo to change transparency?
Or is there another file that needs to be edited?
Thanks for readin'
Josh.

I've asked the same thing and no one has replied, I assume you mean the notification drawer?
Changing the png file alone doesn't add transparency, it only does on the notification bar, there must be an xml file in framework-res.apk which handles transparency for it, but I'm so inexperienced in xml I haven't tried looking and there's so many xml files it would take days to convert each one to "readable" xml and find which line of code among thousands controls it
I haven't tested it, didn't have the chance, but you can check here

Did you make sure the background image of the "notification drawer" is transparent? Or applied it using the stock framework-res?
phunkycow,
You are a Genius,
It worked like a charm!
For anyone who is interested, the steps i followed were:
1.) Reboot into Recovery
2.) adb shell
mount /system
adb pull /system/framework/services.jar c:\
3.) Download the Transparency patch (I've attached it if that makes it easier)
4.) Copy the services.jar from c:\ to a folder (i used the desktop), and make sure that the Transparency fix executable (xUltimate-TP.exe) is in the same folder.
5.) Run xUltimate-TP.exe and wait for it to say it is finnished (it takes about 2 minutes to complete)
6.) Copy the patched services.jar (it overwrote the one in the folder) to c:\
7.) adb shell
rm /system/framework/services.jar
**CTRL+C (to exit back to the windows shell)
adb push c:\services.jar /system/framework/services.jar
adb reboot
And that's it.
I have also attached my patched services.jar, and framework-res.apk with a transparent status_bar_background.png.
If you are running Defrost 2.0+, using them may work for you (I am using DeFrost 2.4).
Now, you MAY NOT notice any transparency straight off the bat because your theme may not have a transparent status_bar_background.png.
If you find that it isnt transparent, i have attached a transparent status_bar_background.png
You need to add this to your framework-res.apk.
Major props to:
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/xeudoxus/47283-release-xultimate.html
as it is his executable that patches the transparency.
Josh.
Glad I've helped, even a little. I was lucky enough to bump to that thread accidentally after looking for ways to deodex! You may want to edit the original post with the steps to apply transparency, and maybe edit the title as well? I'm sure other people might be interested as well

I did. I took the background image from Amer v4 (which is transparent) and flashed both the patched service.jar and new image to the phone. The notification panal ended up solid black.
Anyway will definitely try it again to see if i have any luck this time=)
Can someone post a screenshot? I could have sworn I have tried all this already to no avail.
edit: also, I thought that the services.jar patcher mentioned above was for the notification bar. Does this only make the notification bar transparent, or the actual background of the shade (where not covered by notifications)
This method did not work for me, however this one did

[THEME][AROMA] Galaxy SIII for Rocket Rom v4 --- [07.06 Update v2]

Update v2
Ported to v4! New installer as well called Aroma. This installer includes touchdrivers and I've calibrated it for our device as well as added our hardwarebuttons in case you like using Vol up/down to navigate, lol. Mind you, the Note has horrible recognition at the edges of the screen. Anyways... No need to flash the stock look theme as this already does that. Added touchwiz themed dialer. I've added a fully working S Voice with correct voice as opposed to the other APKs out there. This one is just fine and does not use Googles TTS.
If you have ANY new system app installed this will FAIL! From a fresh install to S Voice instead of Media I only had 8k free in /system. It won't be much more if you chose Media instead of Audio.
WORDS OF CAUTION:
Look. RRv4 is a TW rom, meaning it's a huge-ass rom. Because of it, you'll have to choose between installing S Voice or the SIII audio files. If you try to install both you'll get an error and you'll be stuck with no audio... If you WANT to install both, you CAN if you pre-emptively delete /system/media/audio folder and a few APKs in /system/app before installing this zip. Or you can MOVE the apks over as data apps. Anyways, that's why I can only condone installing this after a CLEAN install. You can still install the theme no problems, but choosing either S Voice or Media without having sufficient space... yeah.
ALWAYS CHOOSE TO SAVE LOG JUST IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG!
If after choosing reboot it goes back to Recovery with an error, send me your logfile.
S Voice instructions:
Go to settings
Go to Language and input
Go to Voice recognition
Change to Samsung powered by Vlingo
Go to Text-to-speech output
Change to Samsung TTS
Have fun with the Siri-wannabe
After bootup, go to Play Store and install YouTube. I had to delete it as System app because of size constraints.

Update v1.5.2
Added Galaxy S III widgets and audio. Weather does not contain the dreaded, ugly starburst with the number 1 or 2 in it. This contains eybees latest Data toggle in dropdown menu WITH the latest batteryfix. Enjoy my updater-script upon installation.

If you do not see the lyrics to Rebecca Black - Friday upon installation (after progress bar has disappeared to the right side, lol), then you have installed the wrong zip and that's why you still have the battery bug.
Tons of quick updates.
EDIT ADD: Do not install these if you're on Rocket Rom v2. Will update it tomorrow for v2.
Nice job!! Love the SIII Icons! my NoteSIII homescreen is now complete! the only problem is that the systemUI.apk is causing my com.android.phone process to FC.
A question...whats the difference between the stock SystemUI.apk and the new SystemUI.apk?
What rom are you running? That APK only has a few icons changed. Mainly the Settings icon in notification area and other places. It's not an important APK for desktop-aesthetics, really. Hope you backed up your old one.
I'm running stock ICS LPY. I backed all the APK's before i replaced them. Returned the old SystemUI.apk and Phone.apk and all is fine now
can this be done on midteam roms 1.3 or 1.4.
I install this theme on rocket v2

I didn't change the internet icon as it's almost exactly the same, but I'm doing it in the next update. I don't think any other icons are missing, but if someone notices - please, do tell.
Also, if someone has used ZipThemer before, please help me out in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26503477&postcount=236
I see that Kalagas has made his theme flashable with ZipThemer, but mine doesn't apply (though I get no error and it seems to be flashing just fine). I've tried putting his update-binary and phoneDatabase in the edify folders, but that just softbricked my phone.
Added flashable zip for latest Rocket Rom v2. Open with 7zip and remove SystemUI.apk and the folder "framework" if you're not on Rocket Rom v2. May also need to remove Phone.apk if you have FCs with Phone.
Updated to 1.4.1 with battery fix.
Working on landscape for 1.5
flashed on LP8 lost status bar
Says XXLPY on thread title.
Anyways, copying over a fresh SystemUI.apk from your roms .zip file (just extract it and place it in /system/app and correct permissions) should clear that up. If not, it's framework-res.apk in /system/framework. Can't remember where the statusbar is located.
why is wallpaper scrolling different? in previous TW, once the wallpaper is scrolled to the right end, it scrolls back to the left end of the wallpaper but this TW it instantly shows the first left end after scrolling through the right end of wallpaper. Not saying the transition is wrong but it doesn't look attractive without scrolling back.
That's just how it works. Until someone creative finds a nice fix, we'll have to live with it. :/ I only use 1 page so I hadn't noticed it myself, but others have taken notice before.

[Theme][CM9] Motowiz by Brandonc0526

OK guys here is the deal, I wanted to create a theme that combined the status bar of this theme:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...eme.motoblur.free&feature=more_from_developer
with the icons of this theme (because the moto ones are fugly) :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thomassafca.theme.touchwiz.free&hl=en
So what I came up with is called motowiz
Installation instructions:
1. Make sure you are on a CM9 based rom that has the T-Mobile theme Chooser installed
2. Move the apk to system>app
3. Change perms to rw-r-r
4. Reboot
5. Apply theme (it'll say something about not being compiled right, just hit apply anyway)
Note: It must be installed manually because its not signed, idk how to do that.
Features:
TW4 icons
Motoblur4 status bar
4G icon instead of H
If you like it just hit the thanks button

Same here, obviously I followed the instructions like you said but after the restart all I see is a black background, no statusbar at all but the apps are working. Now I've messed everything up and I'm back to factory resetting (for the 138586589th time) xD

I am using stock rom. Also had checked by deleting .odex file and permission was also correct rw -r -r (0644) but same result.
@AGuyfromH3LL which superuser mod? The device is rooted and supersu is installed.
Patching Service.jar. Dose AlienRom have this? Because in AlienRom is working.

Great job! works on my phone, but some settings would be nice...like changing what toggles we want, or color.
