This is my first attempt at this so please do a backup before attempting to use my theme files. I have tested them but your mileage may vary. Those are not flashable files, they are meant to be installed with MetaMorph and a reboot after the installation is strongly recommended.
Note: Those files were tested with the Viva! theme but since not every theme is built the same way, they may or may not work with the theme you have.

- Added the 0 signal graphic for the signal strength meter

Love the fuel gauge design, can you make one that will work with Virtuous 3.1 rom?
I think it would look cool if you put an odometer in the image and use that to display percent.

Oh I love that idea... I don't love how much work that would be but I do love the idea!
It looks really good but even with bigger numbers, once on the phone, its going to be so small that you won't really be able to read it.
If you look at the meter once on the phone, it really lacks details

Well well, seeing how I'm getting to making battery replacement icons, I figured I would make a thread listing all of my projects. (betas, full's, tests, random ones too )
***ALWAYS DO A NAND BACKUP BEFORE ANY MODIFICATIONS, its just common sense. I am not responsible for any damage to your phone***
**REMINDER** All these are for use with MetaMorph app which you can easily grab from the Market. Don't forget to grab the donation version as well to thank the dev for making such a great, and easy to use program!
**NEW**
Thanks a million to barnacles10 for providing the framework that bypasses the so called "animation frame cap" on the Sense ROMs. Now I will be able to provide multi-animation icons for enjoyment!
First things first, to use any of the high-frame icons, you MUST download this framework. Just flash it via- recovery console. ::
- batterymodv1b
Once downloaded, you can now use any icons highlighted in RED using MetaMorph. If you use one without the latest framework, you will get bootloops. AGAIN do a Nand backup before doing this, so if any problems occur, or if you decide to go back to the original framework, you can do so. THIS ALSO WILL WIPE ANY OF YOUR CURRENT THEME / ICONS!
Thank you. ^_^
***Edit Log***
- Added "SimplyBasic Battery" #5 (8/4/10)
- Added Morph for stock battery for those who would like to switch back. (attached to this post at the bottom) (8/5/10)
- Due to request, added a reverse (flipped) version of CleanBattery #4(8/9/10)
- Fixed "MultiColorRound" battery icon found in my 2nd post.(8/11/10)
- Added new framework download to allow for more "customizeable icons. Recommended to awesome eye-candy. (and to download my high-frame icons.) Also added a new battery icon #6. Its #5, but with more animation! (basically was my guinea pig icon xD)(8/13/10)

I believe I understand what your saying. You would like to switch the color of the % number freely when you feel like it? If thats the case, thats why i posted the 2 different versions, for Sense (dark task bar) and AOSP (white task bar). You need to use MetaMorph app from the market to install these. Makes it very simple instead of booting into recovery all the time. Hopefully that answers your question, if not, let me know.
Also, thanks much for the donation! Extremely appreciate it.
i don't want to replace the taskbar all i want to do is use different icons. if you look at this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7172320&postcount=1 you can see they have different styles for the icons

found a thread here that explain how to get it
Super Circle Battery with % |Version A-I & Z (Custom)| Desire 2.2 ROM
Problem
However i found out that i am un-able to use it because the requirments for installing (what i have been told in the thread) is that your device has to be
1. Rooted
2. Have different ROM than the stock ROM
personally i find it very inconvenient to root & flash a new ROM just to get this battery circular percentage (thats all i want, I am pretty satisfied with the stock FROYO 2.2)
Solution
I have modified an APK, used an existing programming logic (Battery Indicator - Open Source Project) but with different presentation.
the APK can be installed to your Desire (and probably other android phones without any problems) and it will show you what you want in the notification bar, just like in the screenshot below
Advantages
- You will not need to root your device (this APP will not change any system files in the framework-res.apk)
- You will not need to install different ROM
- Small size APK, you can just download, install and enjoy
Disclaimer
I have tested this APP on my Desire with stock FROYO 2.2 without any problems I have not tested it on any other device.
The App does not alter any system files, worst case scenario you will get FC. but just to be on the safe side, install on your own risk
wold appreciate any feedbacks
Credits
- Battery Indicator from Darshan Computing (Freeware & Open Source)
- Graphics provided by Fightspit (Thank you!)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To answer some of the questions
- the Circular Battery Indicator does not use a lot of battery resources, the device broadcasts a message when the battery status changes, the app catches this broadcast and update itself to show the right percentage, it is as simple as that, so it is extremely light weight on the CPU.
-It is impossible to remove/hide the original battery icon on the status bar without root privileges, and if you have root you dont need this app, chances are you already found away to alter the original/stock battery icon to match your desire (check first post for the link on how to change stock battery icon if you have root).
-I am considering uploading this to the market, to reach a bigger market and making the updating process easier, dont have lots of time to do this now, but i am surly considering it
-for all the people who are interested in the control switch more than the app itself Lol ... its called "SwitchPro" widget
Enjoy

I like this idea for non-rooted users. Nice work!
Anyone have any ideas for hiding the original one? (without needing root preferably since obviously with root you could install this as a morph/flash).

that could be tricky, since altering any default component in the bar requires system privilege (i.e. root)

how is the graphics in your wildfire (app graphics) are they choppy or anything?
offtopic: how to get that bar with flight mode, vibration, 3g, bluetooth etc. buttons? I have that too but there's only like 4 different buttons.

Works very well over here, thanks for sharing.
Sent from my rooted X10i using tapatalk preparing to go out to watch soccer....
Tested on Vodafone 845, works perfectly.
The circular indicator looks a bit pixelated though. Perhaps it has something to do with the screen resolution?
Anyway, great app!
I can't see the % number (in white) clearly in my Nexus One (status bar is in white).
I have the same problem as kwankl, except I can't see the number at all. Is it possible to have a version with black numbers?
Thx

Anyone have any comments on how battery intensive this battery monitor is? Most of the other widgets or notification apps I've tried seem to have a serious impact on battery life. Quick Battery is probably my favorite so far and seems to drain the least juice. I like this one's look much better, so I hope it doesn't chew battery.
BTW, display icon looks great on an EVO. Text is clear and readable too.
I am a Junior in High School and after watching the original Tron and Tron Legacy multiple times and loving it I decided to work on a Tron Theme. Please understand that this is a crucial year for me as a Junior and updates will probably come most likely on weekends since school is my first priority.
TronTheme for Incredibly Re-Engineered v2.30
I've spent a lot of time optimizing everything as much as possible to match the speed of the stock non-themed Incredibly Re-Engineered
I also added some cool additions that I think you guys would enjoy; for example when loading Music instead of getting the fake screen you will get a screen that says Music in Tron Font (This is also the case with the Calendar, HTC Clock, and Weather). The slider and slider bar at the bottom of apps like Gallery and HTC Clock have changed too (an example is in the screenshot). Hope you guys like the added additions.
Disclaimer: Flash at your own risk; I am not responsible for any damage that is done to your phone. MAKE SURE YOU NANDROID BEFORE FLASHING; FAIR WARNING!
If you guys enjoy my theme please support my high school club by shopping at amazon for stuff you need through my club WEBSITE. All proceeds will go to a good cause and you would be buying yourself something while donating to a good cause at the same time. More information is in the link.
Again this is chingy51o's Rom not mine I just themed it.
Also some of the notification icons belong to the MIUI Development team. The 3G, WIFI, GPS, and Alarm icons are property of MIUI.
I think most other parts I themed myself but I may be wrong and if you catch something please tell me; I don't want to take credit for something I didn't do.
My themed was mentioned on http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/install-tron-android-theme-on-htc-droid-incredible/ probably because of Chingy's rom but cool none the less =]

Love the theme, would be great to see more of the blue tron lines outlining the widgets and the launcher bar and whatnot, thanks a lot
It would be nice to have the Favorites Widget themed with a blue outline like the Messages widget is. Also, the Gmail and Market Icons could be redone in blue.
Would it be possible to make the back layer of the clock transparent?
Hey! Love it! Idk if this is you but after I flashed the GB keyboard's "&" says " & amp" and after you hit the symobols key then alt on that page it says "<" when its supossed to be "
Hey. Is it possible to make the battery meter show the percentages inside of it?
I love that meter, and would love just that if you dont mind. I want to make it red to match my red theme

The battery meter does show percentage increments of 1 inside it. Could you clarify what you mean?

sorry, looking at the large screenshot, it seemed like when there was no charging symbol in the batt meter, there were no percentages, but if there are, thats great!
Hi all,
Tired of same boring status bar. Well not anymore, I present "Fully animated status bar" for HTC Sensation users.
First of all, I would like to thanks all the developers who puts their spare time in developing. I created all these icons and now I know how much effort everybody puts. So, it is time for me to pay back to xda community.
Doubt: Curious about battery life? Well, then don't worry, it consumes a very small of battery that you will hardly notice.
What's included in the mod:
Version 1.0:
1. This mod includes following fully animated icons: Alarm, Airplane mode, Bluetooth, Silent ringer, Vibrator mode, Sync animation, Headphones, honeycomb charging animation.

Excellent idea. One thing confuses me though... I would use green for highest quality signal (2. Animated signal tower) and fully charged battery instead of red. Same for Bluetooth red for off, green for on.
Nice !
Great !!
But i am only thinking... How much more battery will it use
Is it for all roms or just sense?

Nice.
Although you posted this in the wrong section.

Well, I tested it on ViperS ROM and it should work on Sense 4.0. Don't try it out on AOSP.

@subodhiitk
Not sure if you frequent the forums anymore as I saw your post over a year ago but is there a way to get your animated status bar working on a nexus 4 Android 4.3?
Having an animated icons in status bar is something not many people have thought up and it's great for customization!
Anyways I was hoping you'd be able to help me figure out how to get this project going, since you definitely appear to be the expert in this particular area.
Cheers and lots of beers, @Adizzzle.
