Guys.. Please help me with my question.
Im in the UK and the latest top best phone is HTC Desire HD I assumed(given that Htc evo4g not in UK market)?
Should I wait for the coming phone? I know there is a t-mobile mytouch hd/4g is coming but not sure whether it will be released in the UK?
Please give any advice. Good if u have any insider information about which best phone is gonna released recently. I have no free minutes or credit until I get a new contract. Plz advice thx in advance

Well there will always be a new and better device every month or so. If you're into flashing and hacking your device check out which devices are avaliable in your area and ones that XDA develops for (if you're into that sort of thing ) then also check out the features that you want. Just cause it is the latest doesn't mean it is the best! so make a good choice when buying and remember you dont always have to go in the direction of the market.

Sorry I didnt make it clear enough. Im only into Android phone. And I didnt mean the latest phone is the best... From what I heard, T-mobile mytouch hd, which is a htc phone has got front camera which allows user to video chat. This is really things that I want but if this dont come into reality then i would go for any phone which is better than HTC desire HD. I have a HTC desire so really no point to get the HD just for the upgrade..

hello everyone, i cant charge my touch cruise and my contract expired. so i need advice.
i have a choice of what to get next.
g1 for free
touch pro for $180
xperia for $180
touch hd for $300
or just waite for touch pro2 or diamond2( no idea how much its gonna cost me.
so guys i need your help to help me decide, and i need advice fast because i cant use anything else other then htc phones. thank you.

Wow! Those are fabulous prices....get them all !!
Personally, I'm not into devices with keyboards so it's a toss up between HD and Diamond 2. From your list....HD all the way! But that's just me.
Also not into keyboards, so get the HD now or wait for the Diamond 2.
well im not into keyboard devices also, its just there isn't that many new htc phones to choose from ( no diamond hated lol)
what concerns the prices, i live in New York and a lot of retail stores here attract customers with such discounts, if you get a contract from us for example we will give you such and such off. ( but maybe they do that everywhere)
by the way will i have any problems with using internet with HD since it has no 3G in US?

I need a custom ROM for my HTC Imagio. Of course its a Verizon phone which makes it a CDMA phone a well. I am willing to pay $500 or more for a custom version of the HTC Sense or LEO ROM. It can be the very same ROM that comes on the phone but with a different version of Touch Flo3D. I just want my Touch flo to look like it does on all of the LEO ROMS!!!!! So who do I have to pay and how much?!!!

Dude, first off, congratulations on your recent purchase.
But...
1) This forum is for Touch Pro2 users only. They have different forums for a reason. You do not have a Touch Pro2 -- if anything, it's more related to a Topaz/Touch Diamond2.
2) Chances are since it is a new CDMA phone, they haven't even released a HardSPL for it. That's probably going to be your 1st recommended step before even customizing your ROM.
I promise...as soon as there is a place to post anything about the Imagio I'll be right there. It doesn't have a section on here like the other phones.
Please forgive me!!! Do you get this upset about the wind blowing too?

I'm not upset, just trying to protect you! Some of the users can be a bit snappy and degrading.
Curious -- when you remove your battery on your Imagio, it should show a model number of that phone (like mine shows RHOD100). What does yours say?

Check out which brand new phones are coming in Indian Market this Diwali. I will be going to check out few tomorrow. AFAIK there is Desire from HTC, Motorola Milestone, SE Xperia 10, Samsung Galaxy S and Dell Streak for you in Indian market.
Galaxy S would be best bet if u want latest hardware but dont mind its plastic body. Also it has no flash. And ppl are facing some GPS related issues.
If u are willing get phone from grey market, there might be few more options.

There probably won't be an android ROM for the HD7 soon, because it is basicly the same as the HD2.
If you wanted to have an android device anytime soon i suggest getting the HD2.
The only way to unlock it at the moment would be to either contact your carrier or use a website that sells unlock codes. There is no tool for this yet.

I took a look at the hd7 forums on xda and so far it doesn't look like it.
The consens seems so far to buy a HD2 if one would have wanted a HD7 with android.
You could try other forums, i.e. android central? maybe they are trying something.
Why dont you guys try to make android for htc hd7
This is a great site and the developers are extremely talented
Many people want android in their htc hd7
And i am sure that they are ready to pay or donate some money to have android in their htc hd7
You can't force people to make a ROM.
You could start a thread and collect money offers from people and see how much are actually willing to offer money for it. Maybe enough comes up that someone is willing to do it.
This has already been done for other devices.
I'll quite happily swap devices with you if you want android and an HD2
