Hi everybody.
I have a new gene HTC P3400i. Yesterday I have upgraded the SPL to 1.17.orief. I have windows 6 in it. I want to ask that what are the benefits of upgrading the SPL? I rather getting a problem.The battery meter is showing full all the times. Other than that the device became a little slow. Then what is its speciality? What else can I do after the upgradation? Can I upgrade the OS? Where will I get the original OS upgrade? And what other upgradations can be done?

I bought my Magician on eBay and it is the best phone I have ever had. The phone is amazing. But of course 2 months have passed and I am dying to improve the phone. The Brand is a DOPOD 818, which is the HTC Magician or iMate JAM.
I see everyone here has the ROM 1.06, mine is 1.01.00WWE with a ROM Date of 10/21/04/ I am sure I should be upgrading my ROM for the enhancements but I am not sure how or where to go.
Everyone says to go to Club iMate but unfortunately my IMEI is registered through DOPOD and not iMate. The DOPOD site does not look like it has an updated ROM.
Can I use a generic ROM? Where can I get one? I am in the USA using T-Mobile, if that helps.
Please let me know what I should do.

you will need to do a lot of readings before upgrading... and if your device doesn't have any problems then don't upgrade... the latest version from imate is really bad.. i have tried it and went back the old one which 1.03.00 ... anyways go to this ftp ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/
and you will all the latest ROMs....

I wanna ask someone to guide me trough to upgrade my Samsung i600 to WM 6.1. (I sooo badly wanna do it!)
I upgraded a few ROM of different devices without any problems.
When i tried Nokser's first i600 release, i bricked my phone. I dunno what happened, but there was no radio. I gave it into a repair centre, and they had to replace PCB......... thats why im sceptical.
This is what i have:
Samsung i600 Stock WM6.0 ROM
PDA version:
i600UJCGJ3
Phone version
i600UJCGJ3
Eboot:
i600UJCGJ3
Windows Mobile 6 Standard:
CE OS 5.2.1437 (Build 17944.0.3.1)
Can someone please guide me here, if all this makes sence?

Hi there Nokser, my phone has WM6 on it already?
The last time i tried to flash your ROM, it would not boot past the "Ultra messaging" screen, and was stuck there.....
I tried the other way mentioned in that thread where i had to add the XXGG2 phone and boot thing, thats where my radio died.......
Can anyone comment on this?

just keep the stock 6.0. I upgraded a few times to 6.1 but it was too buggy and I really liked the card wheel.

I only use this as a secondary phone, i want the Sliding panel features......
I just dont want to brick my device again....
I wonder why the first upgrade did not work properly.....i did everything as said, and the phone then didt want to pass the "Ultra messaging" screen......
But if so, i will rather keep stock WM6.0, i hoe someone can point me into the right direction....

Ooooooh, btw! I have the Card Wheel as a .cab file works on WM 6.1 Aswell ive heared. I dont take credit for this, i only found it with some hard Googling:

Hi. Im new and wanna say THANK YOU to all of you for the opportunity. I have an unlocked Treo750 AT&T branded (actually with Tmobile) Windows Mobile 6 Professional CE OS 5.2.1620. I am interested to do the navenedrob 6.5 upgrade. Can I install the ROM directly or I have to do HSPL first?
U need HSPL. Follow navenedrob's tutorial to do it here. I would highly recommend navenedrob's ROM too. I use it on my treo. Don't use his new one yet. It still has some bugs, but his timebomb fix one is excellent.

Is it possible to downgrade the IPL to version 0.20, SPL to version 0.24.000 and the firmware (radio?) to version 1.54.01.00 when I patch to WM 6.5?
I ask this, because I still have a guarantee for my Treo 750v.

Hi , i broked my phone trying to upgrade it , now i just got the tricolored screen and i can upgraded to anything because the phone do not start the upgrading maybe for the SPL version.
So i was thinking to put the WM5 original in it.
If anyone know where i can find this ROM please help me.

Im new to the whole pocket pc thing lol , i am looking to get rid of wm 5 off my device , looking to upgrade ti wn 6 or 6.5, I have read the guide on how to do it everything seemed to be going well until i downloaded a rom from another site and it bricked the phone lol, so i managed to re flash it with buttons . 1.05rom, Well im looking for some advice on where i could possibly get the correct and most recent rom that will not brick it , using xp computer with active sync,
device is startin up with,
ipl 1.01
spl 1.01.
gsm 1.12.10.0
os 1.5.4.2

try looking at the CR96 or the X2H threads for a good working version of both 6.1 and 6.5 OS. I have used both with no problems.
