Thx for the reply, I look forward to hearing if it works once you upgrade to froyo.
I could really use one of these @ work and @ home.

its not one of those dickie one that has a cable dangling like a broken arm.
noticed, it was for a vibrant...am wondering if it will fit Galaxy s i 9000....also any support for covers on????
It be pain to put the covers on and off every time you place it on the dock...

Same here, ordered on Ebay (US) and delivered in France. Works fine, even better if you have the desk clok app from "vanilla" Android.
I am running Froyo but haven't had time to test the audio yet.

I am trying to find the car mount for the nexus one in this video. It is shown at the 1:09 mark.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArRc5EdyK90
It's not out yet. Should be soon i would expect.
i am getting realllllly tired of waiting for it...
Same here, tired of waiting. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how many Nexus One's those desk docks were sold. Since neither one sold much, they probably won't want to waste their time, and don't see much of a profit out of a few thousand being sold.
With the Desire, Legend, Evo (Supersonic) and some other kick ass Android phones in the next 6 months, I'm thinking Google doesn't want to waste there time with this and rather just brush it off as a loss and push forward for the next big thing.
I know nothing of business and all but that's how I see it.
I'm done waiting for it.
I get paid tomorrow and will be ordering a vehicle mount with built in charger from proclipusa.com
It's been 4 months now and ZERO news on a car dock even POSSIBLY coming out.

thanks op. I ordered one for the vibrant, but the picture shown is not a SGS Vibrant.
Ordered 2 sets for my SGS. Had to order for Vibrant because there were no shields for SGS. I guess I have to cut the hole for home button myself.

OK you need to full link as above.
Did some more researching. Doesn't seem like a scam.. but obviously at such a cheap price, they don't appear to be great quality either.
Have a read through the Singaporean reviews on the iPhone covers they received by the same deal.
http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=2860037&page=48
I ordered "free" a full body skin week before last for my Milestone, figured I'd throw it in when I sold it. Came in Friday, the deal is legit, the quality is ok, cost me $2.50 to ship to Canada, worth that much at least.
They're just trying to get their name out there, rise above all the noise Zagg makes.
so weird, they have for Captive size, and Vibrant size, but they don't have i9000 size
Isnt the Vibrant the same size as the i9000 though? It just has an extra button?
Link it not down

Does this case cover the second microphone on the top of the phone?
EDIT: In regards to the "SURFACE" type case.
If they only had white.....
I've been waiting for them to release the case w/belt clip (I know...the phone is large and will look funny on the belt).

They still show it "under development" on their site...but it might not be up to date if everyone is finding it in the stores.

Not out yet. The international version is out but the pins do not align properly with ours...so don't mistakenly buy one of those.

I am also curious. I have the Speck Candyshell and am curious if the phone will fit with a case on. I have seen where it says it will fit, but I havent found any confirmation.

I don't own one but I know for sure that they are ok for the XL (USA version) because it's USA sellers also selling them. I don't really need a dock because I just charge at night by my night stand and it really doesn't bother me to just connect the charging cable. Also I just use DLNA to stream video and stuff to my tv and other devices. However this hdmi dock might come in use when travelling, you could connect it to any tv with hdmi (most hotel tv's have them). I saw the dock on the kidigi website when I was looking at their car dock which I bought from htcpedia.com
Anyways, let us know how the dock is when you get it. Cheers

It has completely snapped off. The first time this sort of a thing happened, the pin was still there and I was able to push it back again but this time, since it was already weak from the last time, it just came off!!! Ironically, I was going to replace that old adapter with a newer one that has notches inside and fits better. It is a good lesson for me to let sleeping dogs lie.

Ooookkkk...didn't know that. I could have used that wisdom sooner.
I really liked this phone. I was running GB for a long time until I got enough courage to upgrade to JB using Scott's custom ROM (many thanks to him for that) and it made a already good device more awesome. I want to try to salvage it if possible. From the looks of it, based on my rudimentary knowledge, it looks like the tray is kind of soldered to the board and I am not sure whether that is correct or if I can just yank it out. Don't really want to experiment and make a bad situation worse.

If you are looking for someone to fix it for you, a lot of people have good luck with these folks for phone repairs (they did great on my daughter's power button replacement):
http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/
It looks like they do Infuse "SIM card slot repair" for $50
http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-infuse-4g-sim-card-slot-repair/
You ship the phone there, they ship it back after repair/test.
The cost includes return shipment, you pay for the initial shipment (mine was about $8).
Count on being without the phone for about a week or 10 days.
Thanks!
