Downgrading Radio+SPL With out Fastboot - General Questions and Answers

I have a HTC Dream

Hboot 1.33.0013 (DREA10000)

I just recently updated my radio and SPL. It hangs at the T-Mobile screen and even if I flash any roms through recovery they wont boot. I try flash my previous radio but recovery tells me that there is not enough space on the device. Is there a way to down grade with out using fastboot? My phone isnt recognized by vista home and that isnt an option. are there any recovery's that uses fastboot? I know that there are some recoverys that can use ADB.

radio 2.22.23.02 which engineering SPL and Recovery?

if i were to extract the radio image from the tmobile ota update from the DMD64 ota file,
and flash it to my mytouch3g that is currently on 1.33.2005 engineering with cyanogen recovery1.4 using adb... would it reboot fine? or which engineering spl should i update to after the radio flash using the cm-recovery or should it be amonRa's recovery in order for this to work right?...
any insight... just trying to keep the radio to the newest for tmobiles network speed....
What's your exact phone specs?

ive updated to the radio i speak about b4 but only going about it without custom recovery only the standard and using the opal- updatefiles and renaming them to update each time
like
coc10 to drc92
then
drc92 to dmd64
and my signal and os were running excellent but not rooted
thats why i wonderd if i could go about it thisway using adb and fastboot and whatnot.

I'm not sure about 1.33.2005, need to check what Hboot is inside DRC92-update, according info what DMD64 is update from DRC92.
I explored DMD64 update - there is no new Hboot - only radio, recovery and other files.
My two cents (i didn't say "yes" or "no")
p.s. found this, it seems like T-Mobile installed SPL 1.33.0007 into new regular MT3G (I bought mine in october 2009, SPL was 1.33.0006)

NEED HELP!! Recovery Problem

I pretty much have a semi-bricked 1.2 Fender. It is rooted and I was running stokes
custom rom. Tried to flash Cyanogen 5.08 and failed. No matter what I do, The phone just WILL NOT boot into recovery leaving me with no way to install another rom. I can't wipe or anything...Is there any way to fix this? or is it completely bricked? It will boot to fastboot and to hboot and the computer recognizes it.

Help needed with HBOOT and STOCK Rom

Right guys i know im new here but have a big problem. Now i got my UK Virgin Desire S and decided to root to flash custom roms.
Stated before with :
Saga PVT Ship S-ON RL
Hboot 0.98.0002
Radio 3805.06.02.03_m
Emmc-Boot
March 30th 2011
So i used revolution to root and turn S off. I did a backup once installed.
I then flashed the ICS custom rom v4 off here and it was too buggy so decided on a standard rom (the latest i could find : RUU_Saga_S_HTC_Europe_2.10.401.8_Radio_20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04_M_release_225161_signed) so thopught i could flash it straight away, so i did.
It didnt finish but flashed radio and the latest Hboot so now i am on :
Saga PVT Ship S-ON RL
Hboot 2.00.0002
Radio 3822.10.08.04_m
eMMC-Boot
Aug 22 2011
So after the flash i was left with this and no rom but still had the clockwork recovery to flash custom roms but they wouldnt load due to the S-ON.
Now i have tried to flash the original restore from the backup i did but it keeps saying md5 checksum wrong, i have even flashed standard recovery rom using fastboot and tried to flash different RUU's (have downloaded and tried 6 now with failures on all of them with error 155)
Now im sure it must be something to do with the Security being on but i cant understand why it wont flash the backup i made that was off my phone in the first place. I have looked for a UK Virgin RUU with no avail so have been trying all the Europe ones.
Now i have noticed when trying to update the rom it is saying update from image : 1.47.351.2 if that helps.
Would really appreciate some help here guys and im sorry for being a noob.
Regards

With HBOOT 2.00.0002 you have to go to HTCDEV.com and follow the procedure to unlock your bootloader. Then I would suggest looking at The post on how to downgrade from HBOOT 2.00.0002.
