Shortly after the Viewsonic Gtablet thread grew to a monstrously huge size, a few other resources popped up that have helped the development community tremendously. Now that we have a dedicated forum on XDA, let's keep in mind and continue to refresh these resources that have helped our efforts so much.
These include:

If I'm forgetting anything, let me know and I will update this space.

Seeing how people would update their forum posts when providing applications or general information, I decided to make a wiki website. Now I know xda-developers has one already but I noticed it was a bit quiet around there.
If you're interested in contributing and have any wiki syntax knowledge please don't hesitate to do so. The site is completely free with no ads for your viewing pleasure.
At the moment the site is not informative since there isn't much on there. I hope it will grow with everyone's support.
I'm currently working on the HTC Titan section so take a look.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or criticism please let me know!
I realize that this is off topic and that I may be chastised for posting but I will take my chances. I really enjoy the work you guys do and would like to show my appreciation by donating. Therefore, I ask what is the consensus of the forum; donate to XDA or to the individuals whose work I have benefited from?
Donate to one or to all.
This site is (I expect) quite costly to host - so if you don't have much dosh put it there.
If you use a chefs roms a lot, or get a lot of help from a user, or if someone saves you a pile of cash by unbricking your phone then donate to them directly.
In the most part, the users who have a donate link in their signature are generally people who cook, modify or help a lot.

I say donate to all but maybe this thread should have been started in the Kaiser General section or here in the General Discussion. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=256 This really doesn't have anything to do with Kaiser ROM development, nor specific to Kaiser in general. I understand why you posted it here as this is the most popular thread.

Thanks for your understanding. I did see that section but I figured I would get a better response in here. This is completely research motivated and if I could remove this thread after the 7 day poll, I would.
You and everyone should donate to both XDA and the individual developers. Obviously, donate to XDA to keep the site running. If you use one of the developers Rom's and like it, why not drop $10 or $20 to the developer to show your appreciation. If one of the senior members spends a lot of time helping members and noobs, why not drop a few bucks their way. Some people spend a lot time helping, maybe they don't contribute Rom's, but their continued support of Noobs and others are also well appreciated. (maybe they should stop the noob bashing, but even though they often try to humilate the noobs, they still try to help them)
Can't vote on your poll as I think you should have an option to Donate to both
What no "both" option?
The individuals deserve compensation for their work.
The site needs money to stay up do to the sheer amount of information here.
The "both" option is absent for a reason. There has to be a definitive answer on some level. The very reason for asking the question was to ascertain who should be the benefactor of a donation. It would be great to give everyone their due but as we are all working class people and money doesn’t grow on trees, a solitary choice must be made...until one of us strikes it big and remembers their friends
I didn't think I would ever feel the need to write up a thread like this.
There has been some concern recently with the posting of various links related to projects around the web related to our device. Having this development is a huge blessing for a device that has had its share of neglect from Verizon and Samsung.
The last thing, I am sure, anyone would want is for the development to vanish for our device. While it doesn't sound like a big issue, it is, and it is growing.
If you did not start the project, or you are not a part of the project, please refrain from starting threads that copy/paste information from other sources and pasting the download links also. This is disrespectful to the developer and to the community. Many developers prefer to release their projects to a select community. I, as well as many others, believe this is their right for the hard work they put into the project. This directly affects the community where you create the thread also. If a developer doesn't want to post a project in a certain location, they will also likely not support their project in that location. If you post download links and how-tos from other sources and people have issues, they often go unheard and unsolved.
As a solution, because we still need to be able to discuss new projects and new development, is to create a topic and in the post, simply give a link to the original source. Do not post any extra links or special copy and pasting other than maybe a summary of the project and your opinion. This will benefit the developer and the community as a whole.
Thank you,
Sircrazy and Others
If you are referring to anything I have posted, then you may say so; I will not be offended. I appreciate the work of the developers and hope one day to work along their sides in new development. I see your point and will refrain myself from posting anything that could possibly be misconstrued as disrespectful to them and the community. Thanks respectively.

Back in March when joining XDA, I asked a few questions in the developer's forum out of sincere desire to learn some things.
A moderator quickly directed me towards the appropriate areas to do my own homework. It was also conveyed in understandable terms that comportment was expected in the developer's forum.
For those who may not know what "comportment" means, it pertains to keeping conduct within the scope of where you're at. In order words, keep topics in the development forum focused on development.
Have those sheriffs been on holiday?
You moderators did me a great favor by steering me in the direction where I could do my own homework, dig out the essentials, learn how to work with Android ROMs and avoid dumb mistakes (much less, whine after a dirty flash *lol*).
Smack posts in the developer forum will do nothing but run off (or run underground) some incredible developers. That will only lessen the benefits of delivery to us as users. These developers who give free time and work do NOT have time to waste sifting through a pile of developer forum bologna to find any meat of substance that can benefit their efforts ... and us.
Note: This is NOT being posted in the developer's forum. This is not a solicited post. This is a post of gratitude and respect for this site.
Posting an issue in the developer's forum without taking the time to read through (or use the search tool, which is faster) and see whether that issue has already been posted numerous times, comes across as laziness. And by not reading through, much can be missed that may already contribute to that issue.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him think.
But you can give him a KitKat.
Thanks.
