On my HD2 I'm trying to add quick link favorite bookmarks and sometimes I get a thumbnail and sometimes not.
With CHT 2.0 I can only get a couple of websites to show up as quick links without displaying the generic 'bookmark' thumbnail.
The older version of CHT seemed like I only needed to visit those webpages once and then it would 'cache' a thumbnail.
The new one is driving me nuts..I have it set to 'hide' text so if I don't have a thumbnail of the website I can't tell which bookmark is which.
Help! Anyone solved this issue? I've tried browsing to these websites with both IE and Opera and so far only CNN and ESPN have successfully shown up as quicklinks with actual thumbnails.
??? i was referring to cookie's home tab app..not gmail.

I've tried searching for this to no avail. Please point me in the right direction if this is not the right place to post this too: I'm trying to make a .asx file open straight from my list of programs with CorePlayer in full screen on my TP. I basically have a stream of the BBC News headlines and would like a neat little icon in the programs list which plays them straight out full screen.
There's three things I'd like to do but can't seem to get it working (in order of priority):
1. Shortcut the .asx file to open in Coreplayer - I've tried "\Storage Card\Core Player\player.exe" -"BBC Headlines.asx" and a few other variations but this doesn't seem to work
2. When coreplayer opens I'd like a switch of some kind in the shortcut to make it go full screen straight away (something like -fullscreen or -full or something I'm guessing)
3. I'd then like the icon to change from the Coreplayer icon to one of my own - say the BBC icon. How do I change a shortcut's icon?
I could use WMP but I much prefer Coreplayer's fullscreen rendering and it seems to open a bit quicker. If WMP is my only option then so be it. Both 2. and 3. still apply.
If I can get this working I'll make a batch of streams with their own icons etc and attach them here for everyone. I've found some neat live TV streams also that would be good to use this with. But mostly having a very quick icon in the list of programs which just spews out the headlines in video would be nice!

I would like to have a link to my browser(IE and/or Opera) on my Today Screen.
I know there is a possibility to add items,but the browsers are not in that list.
Is there a possibility to add the browsers to the Items List?

can anyone be kind enough to tell me how i change the background when you click on the tabs (eg the background of the text message/calendar etc screens)
i want this sort of image (although in an ideal world would look less paint edited)

There currently isn't a solution for different backgrounds on different tabs. You can either have one for the home tab, or one for all of them.
Since touchflo has been around for quite some time and no-one's ever had different backgrounds on each tab, I don't expect to see it any time soon.
If you'd be interested at a background on all tabs, have a look at HDWall. Just be aware that you'll need to install the high quality cab (in the first post) in order to use cabs created with HDWall correctly.

you could do this using the background for all tabs cab. use the wallpaper as your homescreen and you`ll see it on the other tabs too. if your wanting a homescreen wallpaper and this seperate for the other tabs i dont know how you would do that, someone on here will know. the background for all tabs is in the mods sticky top of this forum

i want the cannon for all the tabs and a different pic for my home screen, will take a look at the links and update if i need more help, cheers.
I couldn't find a thread for this cab:
TX_Total_Landscape.cab -does what the name says, total landscape means also startmenu
After installing, landscape works great, for the most part. HOwever some of the nice landscape modes such as Music, Photos, has gone away and uses this custom landscape view instead. Is there a way to use the default fancy landscape modes for Photos and Music instead of the custom one from this cab?
Also the Twitter landscape mode only shows half column, instead of full like it does with the stock feed.

nothing to do about music and pictures tab, sorry. regarding the Twitter tab, that is up to the chef, as in witch version of twitter tab to install.
if i install this can i uninstall to get the original files back or do i need an orig cab for that?
when i log into the developed site touch.facebook.com in the status update see more works perfectly in the pages see more doesn't work and i have to get back to old layout is there any possibility to solve this or it needs flash or java ?! also pictures in the new layout show in big size not fit to screen i have every time i see pic to rotate the mobile even that doesnt help too as my screen is of small size ? i

op is talking about the facebook site (the touch version that uses the facebook app) not working on the opera mini app (works fine, just can't press the notifications, friends and messages button)
