I just ordered this from ebay (new user, no url allowed - cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150506673268), seems similar. Hope the extra 20% will be noticeable...
Keep us updated mate!

Yep, very interested in some feedback on battery life with these.
I have a hard time believing it's a quality product when it's $9.99 shipped from China. Oh well, I'll probably buy one anyways, I just hate the shipping times though....
I had an Andida battery on my first Android phone, a G1, and it was super ok. It was a little better than the G1 stock battery, so that I bought one for my SGS also. When it will come, I'll post some impressions.
Had an Andida battery on my HD2 before... In the end it was just about the same as a stock battery (even though it was labeled with a higher capacity).
For the price a reasonable spare battery I guess but I don't think you'll get a better batterylife out of it... Hope I'm wrong though
i was wondering about the 1800 mah batt from the samsung beam , if it could replace the batt in SGS
anyone now ?
can someone who has got this please post a review or update ?
Planning to buy one.....your views will help a lot

I guess I still need to tweak my usage settings. With Full brightness, email-syncing two accounts, watching flash videos online (using lag-fix ext4 on froyo), my battery did drop kinda fast. Think I will drop brightness and get rid of email sync.
How fast is kinda fast? do you get a full day of usage?
For this kind of stuff there should be a battery tester app.. Maybe one which drains the battery as fast as possible (with a timer). Or better, one which kan read the battery statistics (voltage and so on).
(Edit) Maybe this?: http://www.androlib.com/android.application.com-dustmmo-batterystation-jjqBw.aspx
hi guys nice findings here. By searching ebay i found a lot of intersting things too:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SAMSUNG-EXTEN...ccessories&hash=item5d2bc2b9a7#ht_5005wt_1131
2200 mah battery for fascinate (would it work with standard i9000?)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Extended-2800...Accessories&hash=item1e5f55dfb7#ht_1529wt_896
2800 mah battery with back cover (seems to be smaller than the 3000 mah one)
has anyone tried one of these?
EDIT: Another one

ordering the battery is not an issue....but if its going to take a freaking month to reach then its not worth the trouble......and express shipping is too expensive.....

it didn't take long for me. But I'm in the US.
Has anyone tried this?
If it is correct it should be a catch ? It seems original size (no info though), cailmed to be 1930 mah, and Japan made? £9.99 ?
If it is real i can buy 2 or 3 of them?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SAMSUNG-i9000...eBatteries&hash=item2eb0af80fd#ht_2965wt_1251
i've got one. it's on "the way"
but i will never belive that it was made even near to Japan shore )
When do you expect it to arrive ? and would you be so nice to post your review here ? Thanks .
they said "5 days" wich means around 4 left.
i will let you know how it behaves, my JM1 (lagfixed) already works around 3-4 days with the stock battery on a normal day to day usage.
+1 here, I'm curious as well about this new battery!
Just ordered, should be here in 2 days time.
The cheap ass explosion logo around "1930mah" makes me doubt this thing's for real
Maybe this battery has a real 1600mAH unlike the stock battery w/c only has around 1300 or so a user posted before.

750mAh?
Thats crazy.
I think Japanese dont sell on Ebay anyways. They have their Own Auction Houses
750??
Nah mate, it just sounds not right. What picture is that?
hahaha, what a con. not surprising eh.
No matter what battery it is. It is a nokia one, but it still says 1930mAh and still same "brand"
Wich makes me think i've bought a lemon )

It means if this manufacturer is willing to stick a 750mAh battery in a 1930mAh printed sleeve and sell it that way, what's the chances the same manufacturer is actually selling a genuine 1930mAh battery for the I9000?
Answer, not a lot. It's just a generic print they use to cover all their batteries. Wouldn't put it in my phone.

Yeah, it's a good old trick!
- "You said it's 1930mAh!"
- "Oh, it's not the capacity of the battery, it's our company's brand name!"
Recieved this dirt cheap (so called High Capacity1800mAh) chinese battery today, if anyone is interested I post my results and findings, after using it for a couple of days. Got it from www.obostore.com
Regards
* results *
after using and comparing to stock battery my conclusion is I get the same hours from this battery (which I expected) still it's a cheap replacement if you need one I posted a review on the website of www.obostore.com and they refuse to publish it, that says enough I think, right ? chinese fake

Thats what I thought too, as it's the same size. still wanted to give it a testdrive, It's only the price of a Mc Donalds happymeal and free shipping so I ordered one for fun. Will post my findings after is properly calibrated.
Its not too great.....its not too bad. for what you paid....you get a battery than the stock on. Have been using it for a month now.
I'd love to hear your experience with it. Let us know! If it's any good, I'll be buying it...

I think the real capacity will be about 1100Mah zo 130 less then the original battery, as i'm in China right now I went one day on path to find me a spare battery for mine DHD and many just asked to high prices and I hadnt any faith that those higher Mah's would be really true.
So after looking at so many small shops in Guangzhou I came at this shop where the girl first needed look, being suprised that they where not selling battery's with false Mah's on, in fact it was a 1100Mah and I bought it just for 30rmb, all other sellers asked me about 40 a 50, one even dared ask more then 80.
The brand is Speedy, its a brand from Hongkong speedycom.hk/
It's to bad such brands wouldnt survive on eBay because most people will just go for the higher number even though the higher number is just a lie.
im interesting too
Money aside, is there any proven/better batteries for the desire hd?

No the original htc battery is IMO the best battery on the market.
Guys, honestly I can't understand why you all want to try something that has been tried and proved several times to be fake.
Those guys make money on their lies and you help them expand and design their next lie which we will have to buy again before we realise the truth.
My opinion is that all people who bought similar batteries should return them and request refund because what they bought was not what was described. You bought a 1800/1500 or whatever mAh battery which was really 1240. If eBay or Paypal is involved, you can claim your money very easily.
buying batteries from these mass production factories from china is playing with your life dude....either they will short circuit your mobile board, else it will just blow up under slight increase of temperature.... please be caution and use only when your main original battery dies off and use this as backup and not for long hours usage....
also need a better battery

Funny enough, the only reported cases where batteries exploded was for major brand names...
Ah, good thing I have 2 oems then...but truth be told, I never have to use the second one...but I do like have the backup

Is there anyway to check the actual power of the battery? I bought a 1600mah off ebay and it does seem to last a couple of hours longer than the original, but that might be cos i started using a custom rom after i bought it lol

This is reason why we better should use External battery packs...
Of course best of them cost much... but still your DHD maybe will live longer.
Thanks for info about Andida 1800MhA almost bought it. I will wait some time maybe there will be better one in future....
When I had a HTC Hero I had one such 1800mha peace of junk it lasted couple of hours and one day just stopped working I will never make the same mistake again.
These "batteries" are cheep for a reason.....
what do you guys make of this -
would it be worth a shot?

Don´t forget that a bigger battery means a bigger cover for the phone...and it ends looking like a camel
According to description its the same size as the original battery so u wouldnt need an extended cover

There is absolutely no way to physically increase the capacity that far without increasing the size at all. I would never buy from any company that had this as a standard disclaimer:
Posting negative feedback before even giving us opportunity to repair or replace the item will result in void warranty.

shady mo-fo's if you ask me. I mean, of course they have very good feedback, if you risk losing your money by giving them bad feedback.
lol, really? Read the epically huge battery testing thread. Batteries like these are always scams.
Really?
Not to be a hater, but one look at the battery and you should know that it is a fake, not to mention the fact that it is being sold on EBAY (aka SCAMMERS' PARADISE).
Did you looked at his feedback? Or you are a friend of him?
Do not buy it. Thoose are less mah batterys with paper glued so it seems to have bigger mah...
It happened to me..
(sorry my english)
yeah, figured that it was too good to be true
just thought id put it out there to see what others thought
anyway - back to the real world for a while
Holy crap that's expensive. I bought an el-cheapo battery off eBay. It was like $10. It's good for backup but you shouldn't spend that much money on this

Just installed that app on my Vibrant and it also says 1200 mah. Don't believe it.
The battery capacity (mah) can only be measured by a complete charge/discharge cycle under calibrated and measured conditions. An app snapshot like this can't accurately report total battery capacity. The app may be able to do such a measurement, haven't played with it enough yet, but there's no way for it to do it immediately.
is there any tool (i mean not an app) to check the battery capacity? the accurate one?
I have 2 of them, they're decent batteries. I'm actually looking top sell one of them for 22$ shipped

I purchaes this battery from a person on eBay that clearly started that they were selling a 1800 mah battery for the sensation. They were from China so i didn't wanna buy ,but i figured that I'll give it a shot. To make a long story short this dip**** sent me a 1600 mah that suks compared to the one that comes with the phone. I contacted him and he said sorry we put up the wrong picture for that item ,but we dont offer the battery in the picture. He offered me a clear skin cover wtf. lesson learned I'm not mad about the money I'm pissed he lied and it took a damn month ugh.

LOL! Thats exactly what i was thinking!!!
Anyway just buy an external charger and switch between batteries. Thats what i do and i never have to charge my phone. The second battery will charge before the other drains ( even the chinese one ) . I baught a HTC battery for $27 and a cheap charger from ebay for $6!!! I had one for my HD2 and never had probs
Lol i bought the battery before i got the phone assuming it was gonna drain fast like my vibrant ,but not the case here i put my original battery in and been able to get a day with moderate use im done with online ebay crap.

Seems like a non-issue if you're buying from chinese knockoff artist. Have you ever heard "You get what you pay for" ?
