Has anyone tried this?
If it is correct it should be a catch ? It seems original size (no info though), cailmed to be 1930 mah, and Japan made? £9.99 ?
If it is real i can buy 2 or 3 of them?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SAMSUNG-i9000...eBatteries&hash=item2eb0af80fd#ht_2965wt_1251
i've got one. it's on "the way"
but i will never belive that it was made even near to Japan shore )
When do you expect it to arrive ? and would you be so nice to post your review here ? Thanks .
they said "5 days" wich means around 4 left.
i will let you know how it behaves, my JM1 (lagfixed) already works around 3-4 days with the stock battery on a normal day to day usage.
+1 here, I'm curious as well about this new battery!
Just ordered, should be here in 2 days time.
The cheap ass explosion logo around "1930mah" makes me doubt this thing's for real
Maybe this battery has a real 1600mAH unlike the stock battery w/c only has around 1300 or so a user posted before.

750mAh?
Thats crazy.
I think Japanese dont sell on Ebay anyways. They have their Own Auction Houses
750??
Nah mate, it just sounds not right. What picture is that?
hahaha, what a con. not surprising eh.
No matter what battery it is. It is a nokia one, but it still says 1930mAh and still same "brand"

It means if this manufacturer is willing to stick a 750mAh battery in a 1930mAh printed sleeve and sell it that way, what's the chances the same manufacturer is actually selling a genuine 1930mAh battery for the I9000?
Answer, not a lot. It's just a generic print they use to cover all their batteries. Wouldn't put it in my phone.
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Digi-Tech/_i.html?_nkw=1930mAH&submit=Search&_sid=170948874
Yeah, it's a good old trick!
- "You said it's 1930mAh!"
- "Oh, it's not the capacity of the battery, it's our company's brand name!"

Mr. WootRoot just bought it.

I didnt know theres a 3200. I have the 2800. I doesnt give me twice the battery life of the stock battery
I think is better just buying a second stock battery especially since there are only $25.
They apparntly dont even show the 2800 mAh battery on thier website anymore lol.
Are there any more comparison pics or reviews out there? I am beginning to think I should have just gotten this and not a bunch of standard batteries. Swapping them is a pain, especially with Swype crapping out after every restart.
I bought the 2800 mAh and hated the way it made my phone feel and look. No cover for the camera lens either. I used it for 4 days and went back to my stock battery. My phone obviously lasted longer in between charges, but not enough for me to keep using it.

'cause then you need to turn of the phone, swap the battery, wait for it to boot again.
I'd rather have it all in one.
I've decided to just go with a Iogear GearPower Portable Battery. I think it is more versatile.

i know it looks ugly but wootroot said he got 36.5 hours on heavy use! i mean, i use my nexus one HEAVILY and i get about 5.5 hours before needing to charge it. u can get it for $70 on ebay so you save a little money, i have the money (i sold my dock and some stuff for the sole purpose of getting this thing) but now that i have it, i dont know if i wanna buy it. its seems too expensive, but charging this thing 3 times a day is starting to get really annoying. if i do, ill post up some pics.

Gooooojjjjjiiiiiirrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
Reminds me of those gizmos you plug into your cigarette lighter that are supposed to double your gas mileage.
But hey, it's a "Business Battery" so it's probably legit.
Here's a clue. When you get it weigh it on a gram scale. See how much difference there is between it and the stock battery. That will likely approximate it's actual capacity. Good luck.
no offense but that label looks fake to me...

That seems bizarre even in the world of battery scams. You think a Chinese company is putting "Made in Japan" on the battery, or is a Japanese company putting Chinese characters on it? Obviously it can fool Westerners, but it seems like a really, really dumb mistake.
i was doing research on this battery for last couple days as well, then i came to a couple threads with people ripping off that "gold label".. and it says something like 900mAh.
I mean if its truly 2430mAh that's great, but i ended up getting the Chichitec 1900mAh battery because of reputable reviews. Just a heads up. If you guys google for 2430 Gold Battery, there are threads about it
Some Chinese and Japanese characters are very similar or the same.
That said, regardless of what is printed on the battery, this still seems like its too good to be true.
Unless HTC used junk cells on their OEM batteries and these batteries are top of the cells its highly doubtful that a no-name battery will have a >55% increase in capacity without any physical size increase.

Totally agree. That 2430 mah stamped on it is the biggest warning sign of all. It's got scam written all over it.
Went through some of the feedback regarding this battery, several stated it was tested at only 1200-1300mAh..
This is my biggest worry about no-name batteries. Even if I didn't get the capacity as advertise, but got something very close to the OEM capacity I would call it a draw.
Buying something that is advertise as >OEM, and then to only find out in reality its closer to 60% of OEM capacity sucks.
Knowing me, if I was really drawn in, by either clever marketing, a fancy site, or unverified reviews I would try to convince myself that it was performing better than it was. 'Optimizing' my usage pattern for the battery...

Yes Chinese only has ieroglyphs, while Japanese has ieroglyphs and kana (kidn of alphabet)
but font-types are very different. The bettery has japanese characters on it but printed using Chinese fonts, which Japanese will never do. Also the gold embalation is very suspisious. usually it is just black.
Further more, cell betteries even for Japanese phones are rarely made in Japan. most of them come from abroad.

I'd wager we're keeping these battery scammers in business, so not learning soon enough.
So this (http://www.htcexpress.com/batteries...-battery-sprint-verizon-incredible-droid.html) seems to be one of the best batteries aroung as well as the Mugen 1800mah. My question is, while Mugen should fit perfectly, I couldn't understand, after reading most of batteries thread till page 6, if the Chichitec need the label to be pulled out, someting to be cut, or fits perfectly.
Then, if something is needed, would there be any risk.
And the last thing, which one would be better in terms of runtime?
thanks
In the future, just drop your questions in the battery threads.
Using these batteries that are not meant for the G2 is fairly straightforward. The only truly necessary thing is to take the wrapper off of the battery, and then use a portion of it to cover up the part of the battery that would be touching the SD card slot in the phone; that's the only risk, the phone may short out if the two metals touch each other.
I believe both of them offer similar battery life; both stay true to their capacities, and are quality batteries. I bought the Anker 2-battery set and am very happy with it.
Going from stock to evo 4g battery then to a mugen 3600 mah, i would never go back. I dont give a crap about the bulk when I can play n64oid for an hour or two a day without any scare ill run out of battery. Without emulators I hit about 65-70% when I lay down at night. With stock I would hit 20% or so at night.

How do the Anker 2battery from amazon compare to the stock battery? Does it last much longer?
Since this thread was already bumped...
Can someone gimme a link to, or tell me where to find this huge "Battery Thread" that I see people keep referring to? I've searched and looked all over, and I find all kinds of battery related threads, but don't think I've come across the "epic" battery thread. It should probably be a sticky... then again, since I'm a noob, for all I know it probably is.
I don't understand why people would still buy the chichi battery when you need to modify, clip tape, etc. if you can just buy the Mugen which fits perfectly. I think people originally bought the chichi battery because there wasn't an extended one yet for the G2, but now you've got lots of options.
Plus, the one and only time I ever bought anything from chichi tec I had to return it and they wouldn't answer any emails and don't have a phone to call, I had to file a claim in PayPal before I could get a refund for my "guaranteed return".
i've had an awesome experiance with chichitec i plan on buying another perhaps mugen though more expensive, and really, seriously, the modifications are a joke, took me 15 seconds to do....anyone who complains about that should get over it. You are on a forum where we modify, hack, and otherwise tweak and customize our phones way beyond what the manufacturer intended so taking the label off a battery is just too easy a mod to complain about lol. Anyways never used a mugen but i get 25 hours plus moderate use with my chichitec so zero complaints here, especially when they are dirt cheap.
Check this one: GOLD BATTERY
...Im not sure but I think somebody else has posted this link in another thread.
I will go for this one myself, as I do hate my HTC DZ not lasting more than a day, but I would dread making it twice as thick! ...this battery (despite the alleged huge capacity 2430 mAh!! ) manages to maintain the original/OEM battery size...

This doesn't seem like a run of the mill chinese cheap battery. Packaging looks very professional and the company itself has amazing ratings. I would say this is a pretty safe buy. Its a company that designs the batteries in canada.
And with amazon you're well proctected. Ebay tends to always back the buyer up as well, but I always felt amazon was more legit. I have no need to ugly up my phone with a massive battery, nor do I need the extended time (stock battery suits me fine) but for someone that can't shell out a lot of money this seems like a solid deal

Yes and no. I bought a Mugen from amazon, and everything went fine. It died after about 3.5 months, and Mugen wouldn't replace it because I didn't buy direct from them.
So, most reputable companies who sell direct on amazon are OK. Mugen doesn't sell direct, so avoid them on amazon.
I'd like to see how badly this battery bulges out the phone. I've seen pictures of the galaxy note with this battery, and it looks... big.
I'm willing to test it out. I placed the order and I'll report back once I get it.

Here is my thing about batteries. Last summer when I was on the hunt for an amazing lipo battery that would make my rc car run the fastest, coolest, longest right. Well them batteries were about 60 bucks, but what I had found through my research was there were only about 4 companies world wide who produce lipo-cells, so why waste 60 bucks when I could get a 2-cell for 12 bucks. Well it only lasted the summer because I wasn't very responable with it but its perfomance was on par with the more expensive batteries and so was temp ect. It don't have to cost the most the be effective, sometimes I feel this blacknightavalon works for mugen, because I promise you people 100 for a phone battery, they seen you coming

I would never move to f**king China. Not unless they got rid of their Maoist regime. No, I just know a good battery when I'm using one, and I think the Ankers are pretty good too (as long as you order the two-pack with the wall charger).
The battery cover in the Amazon picture is clearly not for a MT4GS, but maybe it's just the stock photo they use for all this company's batteries.
Anyhow, for $20, I took a chance.
The company as a whole seems to make quality batteries, so I doubt they would skimp on our phone. And it is an actual company, not a "no name generic" battery. And as I said before, if you look up batteries for other phones from the same company, they generally have great reviews
Good point on the picture. That battery cover does not seem to fit our phone, which means the picture is a stock picture.

Personally, I'd go for a slim extended battery if they offered it, otherwise it won't work with the dock. Still, if this works well, for 20 bucks it's a no-brainer.

some company called MPJ is also selling a 4300mah one which supposedly fits with the original back cover so it might be legit.

How long these will last and whether they do actually give 4300mah I have no idea, its a huge jump from 2800 in the same size so you have to question exactly how they can do that when samsung doesnt. Lets face it if samsung could produce 4300 in that exact same size and quality, even if it was a slightly higher cost, they would probably do it because the phone would destroy everything else for battery life with 4300mah as stock......and this makes me very skeptical.
Ideally what we want is someone to get some of the various higher capacity batteries from various manufacturers and do a few proper tests to at least see for sure how much longer they last when in use. We still have no idea how many charge cycles you will get with it still being that high but if it lasts for a year and really does give 50% extra capacity for that year then its probably a good buy. The danger even if it gives a decent boost for a few weeks during the initial tests is that it then starts wearing off and ends up worse than a stock battery after a month or 2. There HAS to be some catch somewhere or samsung would surely make these themselves and flog them at a premium for users that want extra power.
The key for me is being able to use the original cover as I dont want extra bulk.
We have to wait and see I guess.

HMMMMMM "Best replacement for the original battery with comparable standby and talk time" say what?!? isnt the point of an extra 1500mah that it lasts a LOT LONGER, not "comparable". They also list the wrong model number, since when is it i9600. Personally wouldnt touch that with a barge pole. Also seems far too cheap to be even close to decent.

Also no NFC. At $6, it might be worth it as a spare.. but I agree their marketing is sub-par... of course it comes from China so that's to be expected... You'll see that Amazon claims 17-28 business days shipping, so it's definitely coming from either China or Hong Kong...
