First of all, I'd like to thank all the people in here who have tried out our previous version and given us suggestions. The suggestions/comments are extremely useful and valuable. I believe if our app will NOT achieve any success if we do not pay very very close attention to our users.

This new version has the following updates:
-added User Agent (thanks to the great suggestion by many of you)
-added support for RTSP streaming media
-added language support for Russia
-added local navigation links for Russia, Brazil (more to come)
-fixed bookmarks syncing bug
-improved and fine-tuned bookmarks syncing performance/speed
-fixed English texts display issues in RSS reader
-fixed the date format in RSS reader

Sorry for my bad English .
Hope there was an option that allow users play only 1 Flash content on heavy Flash Page like firefox add-on: flashblock, it's dissable all flash content and when you want to see it, just click on it.

working great so far. wish u can change the color of that highlight that comes up when u move your finger along the screen.

@moisesdc650, if we get enough requests, we'll be able to change the color...I just want to be honest with you... =) In the meanwhile, would you tell me what color you like? ^_^

can you just remove ALL the chinese affiliated links like 3g.qq.com, baidu etc from the address bar?
it clutters and looks very unprofessional.
btw, why would the browser need to have permission to take pictures?

@mystifiyer, thanks for your feedback, the suggested Chinese links will be removed no later than the next release, which is scheduled to be early March. I am working hard to see if we can remove them early and publish another version before next release.
The picture taking feature is one of our very unique features, which allows you to take a picture and save it as your browser avatar, and sync it to your desktop browser. Some users dont find it useful, while many of them like it. Sorry for the confusion, and I hope you can understand our rationale behind it. =)

You guys just earned yourself the spot as my default browser. Glad I could help you. Just curious if you could possibly try to improve startup times? It isn't a big deal and it is hard to measure because of the way that android manages tasks but it seems to be a little slow on the initial startup.

Bug Report!
I was browsing a news site and had opened a few tabs (I think 5 were open) and one of them was a review on an app, so I opened Market to try it out. I searched it and hit install, and then switched over to Maxthon to finish reading while it downloaded. Instead of having my tabs open like I left it, it showed the black screen as if I had killed it and it was restarting (I guess the system must've killed it) but then it started into my RSS feeds list and is stuck there now. If I hit the back button on my phone or in the app it goes back to the market instead of going back into the browser.
/edit: I opened it with the icon instead of the task switcher and it opened to my tabs like I had them. So it only gets locked in the RSS reader screen if I try to switch tasks.

Maxthon: You mentioned that Maxthon installs into sdcard if it's 2.2 or higher? But I supposed not.
From the above screenshot, you see that Maxthon is still in my phone memory taking up 3.92MB. A check in my Applications setting also show Maxthon is in phone memory.
If an app is in sdcard, it should look like this...
Notice Miren Browser uses 2.14MB, but that's in my sdcard, so I'm fine.
Maybe you can look into moving Maxthon data into sdcard too?

Great App and very useful, tried it out on my Desire HD, couple of points the radio buttons are very small on the widget, I found myself pressing three or four times not knowing if i was successful. Because of this it seemed to have some lag before I got the message box saying please wait updating system.

I use this, but not sure if using correctly.
I have set a custom setting, with language to English, but location to China, as that is where I am. My hope is that numbers/ address formats will be according to China standards, but display of programs will be in English. But, it really just seems to use American address fields (state, postal code, etc). Is this how it should work?

This looks very nice, i'll give it a whirl shortly.

Ahh sorry, I should have mentioned that those things that looks like buttons are not buttons. They're light indicators that turn green if the language is currently being used. The part that can be touched is the big square block with the language name.
The light indicators actually don't respond to touch at all. So pressing them an infinite amount of times shouldn't bring any response.
But thank you for the suggestion. I'll make those indicators respond to touch in a future update.

The app works as a duplicate of the Language settings in your Settings. If you change the language to English, everything will be English as if you had changed it in the settings.
From my understanding, the number and address formats are also tied into the Locale so to get the result that you want, you need to make sure your phone has English for a Chinese Country. I think Hong Kong uses English and the Chinese format. I believe you might need the Locale en-hk or read as English (Hong Kong).
My app is only used to switch between languages in a more convenient way, so its unable to provide you with the Locale you need if your device doesn't support it. I suggest taking a look at the app MoreLocale2 from C-LIS Crazy Lab.

Please be aware that this developer hasn't been seen on XDA for more than 10 years. I've now closed this thread as the last post prior to yours was about 12 years ago and the download link is not functionable.

Have you ever been annoyed with extra options in a QR code reader when you just want it to scan QR and show the result? This was the reason why I started to develop my own light and clear QR reader - Obsqr.

Why it stretch the camera?

Thanks for information!
On my device it's hard to notice. Suppose, a camera and screen ratio are very different on your device.
I think I should crop the photo image to fit a screen ratio in the future versions.

I've fixed ratio problem. Now it doesn't stretch camera preview (since release version 2.3).

for me apps like QRDroid where bound to my search Button on my phone..
But your app does not show up on that App list wenn i hold the Search Button, could you add that feature
Nethertheless this is by far the best QR Code scanner i've been using I hate how all the others are bloated with features no one wants

It is a pleasant surprise to have an app that doesn't require a shopping list of permissions to perform a simple task.
I am a fan before I even finished the install.

Fantastic work, my friend! I get all happy inside when I come across simple minimalistic apps that can do what they're intended to do AND do it better than other bloated ones.
There has to be a way to implement this into the main main AOSP camera app. IMO functionality like that has been missing for quite some time. Maybe you can contact and work with whoever develops camera mods for the Cyanogen team? I dunno...

Hey now it works on my phone with qHD screen. One trivial bug though, when i click to open the link, i get haven't set a default browser, so i get complete action using dialog, if go back from here, i get blank screen.

Any plans to add WiFi key QR code support? Like Barcode scaner has, thats the only thing missing from the app & thats all thats keeping Barcode scanner installed on my phone. Mobile safe actually mobile guards... I've translated it, but newer version won't let me do so, even I modify anything on it, it will force close when I just compile and decompile it

What is your opinion about the problem. We are changing the size of the package... Maybe this is (checking md5sums or something else ) or as you said signs ...

Size doesn't change much, maybe the md5sums... but it is only apk, don't think there is huge issue... will see... I'm currently translating 360 safe box...

The problem is I can't enter settings menu. Program crashes according to it what did it says...

I am little bit confused with description on xda-developers blog. Download Scheduler is not download manager. This app should used for regularly and on time downloads. For example, I use it to regularly update speedcam data for iGo on my phone.

I just made a preliminary translation into Swedish!
May need one or two adjustments but I think it's good enough

Great app, works like a charme!
You offer the possibility to use current date in the URL.
What about the same feature for the file name?
I'd like to save a file each day and wish to not have to overwrite the file of the previous day.
Maybe a feature for the next release?

Ah, this is useful for someone who needs to download file(s) which get updated weekly. Thank you very much for this. Been looking for an app like this everywhere.

Will it function like a stock download manager....like downloading from playstore....my stock one is gone....dont know what happened....thought it must be problem with play store...so i tried different versions of it and will all those i got error 190?...so i need a download manager that replaces stock one....any help appreciated..
