[REQ] Noninverting Front Facing Camera - EVO 4G Android Development

Just realized that the front facing camera only takes inverted pictures. Tried both the camera apk and mirror apk. WTF

Before anything else this should be on general sub forum for evo and of course it would be like that it supposed to act like a mirror for self portrait pics and video chat

I've been using T200 FFC Basic and I think you might like it. Check it out from your Android phone:
http://market.android.com/search?q=pname:com.sprint.android.adp.test.camera.ffc.basic
This apk lets you alter and test the cameras settings, but they revert back to inverted.

Very good points. Which picture is sent while on video chat? It would be wrong to send an inverted picture. It would be right to show an inverted picture as a self portrait. On the other point.... just report this thread.

I'm assuming you mean drilling a hole somewhere in the front of the phone and buying a camera?

Tape a digital camera to the front, wont even notice it after a while.

Easiest way to get a front camera on an inspire is to buy a Desire HD.
wow. well all i can say is LOL and in before close!
Attach a mirror that reflects the camera from the back of the phone to show what is infront of the phone. This works great.
lol dig the pocket mirror idea lmao
This thread delivers. IB4L

Maybe this will help...
Go on YouTube, type in xda, click on the 4th video. That's what I used.

I'm guessing this is a dpi/screen size issue. Our screens are more of a 16:9 view (not sure if that's exact, just saying it seems that way). Personally, that's one of the only things I don't like about the phone. I miss the wider screen on my HD2, same as the Desire HD. Maybe that has something to do with it? Try playing with DPI settings, or use Spare Parts and check/uncheck compatibility mode, that used to fix screen app screen issues on the HD2. It doesn't bother me that much so I'm not gonna mess with it too much, but you can :highfive:

Does anyone know this app?

Can anyone tell me what app this person is using for these stickers? I only know that it's a paid app. I've been searching all over for info. They're able to be added to other apps lil textgram for example.

Hey, what came to mind is that the person could be using a photo editing application, since text gram is just a picture of text, you can add a little sticker onto the photo. There are tons of photo editing applications out there. Give it a try. Hope I helped. Sorry it took so long for you to get an answer.
At least I got one lol. Thank you very much

Using emoji on Twitter and Instagram

I want to be able to use emoji on Twitter and Instagram and the only solution I have found is copying emoji from my SMS app and pasting into Twitter/Instagram. Isn't there a faster way?

4.2 keyboard is supposed to have the "easier emoji input", you might try it out. Post results then please.

I've been using it. I don't see emoji option
Might have to wait until 4.2 is actually released then. For now we can at least view emoji, we just can't add them.

How can you see them? I'd like to see the real ones, instead of the black, hard to see Androidified ones..
I have an S2 with CM10 and when I use the GO Keyboard for Emoji on twitter, I can't see the Emoji. BUT when other people post emoji's on twitter I can see them. Any ideas?

No it wasn't removed. Just go to gallery, select the folder where you video is located. When you found the video you would like to share just press and hold on it. The new menu will pop up, select share and tap on more. And choose the option to share.
