Is there a way to install apps to the embedded FLASH memory?
Typically, phones have ROM memory where the OS and apps are stored by default (~512MB), embedded internal memory (~8GB) and SD card memory (~8 - 16GB). Apps2SD allows us to install apps to an SD card but is there a similar app that allows installation to the embedded internal memory?

how do we know that which application is installed in memory card or internal memory So that we can uninstall it if the application not use any more.
I have partitioned my sd card in ext. format for more space. And have the internal memory full but there is still a lot of space on the sd card ext. Partition for apps. I just want to move the apps from internal memory to this partition so that my apps work fine and i have my internal memory with free space.
The problem might seem easy to solve. Just by deleting or moving apps from internal memory, but for me its complicated because i don't know which apps are stored on the internal memory and the sd card partition for a2sd... In the apps storage all the apps are shown together without showing which is on the sd ext. partition and which on phone's internal memory. i don't know to move the apps from phone memory to sd card partitioned memory. Any help is appreciated

Either do as suggested above, or download ROM Toolbox and under App Manager, you can move apps to the SD card and set applications as system apps aswell.

I tried them but my prob is i need to delete or move apps from internal memory... And when i delete any app there is more space freed on sd ext not internal memory. I need to know which apps are stored on the internal memory. Which i can't seem to know

So the thing is, I have Acer z120 it has 1.17GB of phone memory that I can use to save any files and I notice also that data files of other applications are stored here after installation. Then when that phone memory is almost full, I used a app called Link2SD. My SD card has ext4 2nd partition and used the Link2SD to move all my apps to the 2nd partition of my SD card. But there are still other data files of apps that did not move to the 2nd partition of my SD card.
My main concern is: Is there a way that I can expand the phone memory or at least make my phone store all the data files of applications I install in my device to the 2nd partition of my SD card?
My mobile is Micromax Canvas Juice A177. It runs on Android 4.2.2. Its internal ROM is 4gb. 703mb (A) is phone storage for songs, videos etc and 1.2gb (B) for apps installation. I have inserted a 16gb (C) memory card. It has 10gb free space. Now my problem is when I move downloaded apps from internal storage (B) to SD card it moves to (A) phone storage but not to memory card (C). But I want to move the apps to memory card (C). How can I do this?

Click to collapse
Root it and use Link2SD.
Hi,
I have a xperia m2 with rooted kitkat 4.4.2. Now I'm running out of memory, I tried to move apps on sd card, but the biggest part of the apps are still on the internel memory.
Is there any way to set install path to external memory by default, or to move the complete app on the sd card.
