I'm having problems installing a program to my storage card. I have enough space on the storage card, but my problem lies in that when installing a file that is larger than my available local storage memory I cannot install it.
For example, if I have 2000kb space available on the internal memory on my Smartphone, I can't install a 2500kb program to the storage card.
Please tell me there's a way to fix this?
Don't install via Active Sync, copy the cab to your SD card. If it still fails, means that that app must be installed on SD ( or have some parts installed on SD )
Thanks! That did the trick
Is there a way to install apps to the embedded FLASH memory?
Typically, phones have ROM memory where the OS and apps are stored by default (~512MB), embedded internal memory (~8GB) and SD card memory (~8 - 16GB). Apps2SD allows us to install apps to an SD card but is there a similar app that allows installation to the embedded internal memory?
I have partitioned my sd card in ext. format for more space. And have the internal memory full but there is still a lot of space on the sd card ext. Partition for apps. I just want to move the apps from internal memory to this partition so that my apps work fine and i have my internal memory with free space.
The problem might seem easy to solve. Just by deleting or moving apps from internal memory, but for me its complicated because i don't know which apps are stored on the internal memory and the sd card partition for a2sd... In the apps storage all the apps are shown together without showing which is on the sd ext. partition and which on phone's internal memory. i don't know to move the apps from phone memory to sd card partitioned memory. Any help is appreciated

Use app2sd from play store

Either do as suggested above, or download ROM Toolbox and under App Manager, you can move apps to the SD card and set applications as system apps aswell.

I tried them but my prob is i need to delete or move apps from internal memory... And when i delete any app there is more space freed on sd ext not internal memory. I need to know which apps are stored on the internal memory. Which i can't seem to know

i created a partition of my sd card and wanted to use it to install apps instead of using the internal memory. used link2sd to do it. wen i install an app, it says "linked to sd card" but my internal memory size decreases too.... wat do i do ???
Hello.
When I go to Settings/Memory space I have this:
- Aplication memory
- Internal memory
- SD card
Internal memory is almost empty, SD card is also ok - still enough space (all my apps are there).
But I have a problem with Aplication memory partition. I m not sure what that means???
It s almost full - 1,65GB/1,91GB. I can t find a way to release space there. The only option my phone offers to me is to uninstall aplications. But why should I uninstal apps if they are all on SD card???
So please tell me what can I do?
Thanks for help.
