I just installed via the newest beta...
MUUUUCH better.
Voice input key - FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The word prediction is back to normal. It works extremely well.
Double tap to highlight a word to bring up the word selection screen in portrait is finally working now. (This has been advertised as a feature ever since Swype was first shown, and it's even in the tutorial videos, but it has never worked in portrait... Until now!)
Double tap to highlight a word -> Press shift -> allows you to change case/Case/CASE. (I LOVE this feature in Ultra Keyboard.)
Still no access to the custom dictionary it uses and the word prediction pop-up is still annoying. (I wish it were horizontal like all other keyboards.)
Anyway, highly recommended for others who gave up on Swype. I'm loving it once again and absolutely flying when typing now. I wish I wouldn't have purchased Ultra Keyboard last month hah

Article Text:
http://www.androidcentral.com/seype-android-beta-update
For those of you rocking the Swype beta -- ie it did NOT come presinstalled on your phone -- it just got a pretty sizable update. Here's the full changelog:
* Resolved an accuracy issue that was introduced in the last Beta update. New software features supporting additional languages were included in the beta before the test plan for those features was complete (it is a beta after all). Subsequent testing identified the accuracy issue and corrections made. These new tests have been incorporated into our regression testing to prevent future accuracy issues.
* Added Double-Tap-to-Edit and Cursor Restore
* Added microphone button (QWERTY only. Requires Google Voice Search be pre-integrated in your phone’s ROM)
* Added French & EXPERIMENTAL Chinese Pinyin languages
* Modified new word priority defaults. The word-choice-window will now be ordered more intelligently when encountering custom dictionary words
* Fixed a bug where an extra space would be added when replacing a word by Swyping after opening the word choice window
* Improved the "Hidden-Word" dialog handling so it doesn't show up as often (more improvements to this next time)
* Improved prediction when handling various path collisions
* Lots of minor bug fixes
The tl;dr version: Better, faster, with voice-to-text, finally. Now only if Swype would put this in the market. For those of you already in the beta, head to beta.swype.com/android/get to update your installer. For everybody else, well ... [Swype] Thanks, Sean!

Posting apk's for Swype is against the rules, since it is a closed beta.

I had the same problem. Uninstall and redownload. After you run the swype installer and it opens the package installer, let it install. Click done. Don't click anything for about 10 seconds. Do not click back. You have to wait for the "enabler" screen to pop up.

Those are not decimals number as you can clearly see 2 or more dots. Those are versioning number and 2.10 > 2.4
Now it only needs swedish..
NO, I think they meant 2.04 not 2.4
wish someone would hack this version but that would be consider warez stupid swype :/

In software version numbers, the digits after the decimal point are NOT decimals.
I.E. 2.4 is NOT equal to 2.40 which is NOT equal to 2.400 etc
They are actually two independent numbers.
For example, it's "two-point-ten" and "two-point-four", and "ten" is larger than "four" so the version numbers in this case are correct.
2.1, 2.2, 2.3... 2.9 -> 2.10
More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_versioning
It doesn´t work on my Desire.
There is no language to choose. No english or german. Nothing.

I have the same problem, I'll try your solution. Typing normally worked but Swyping wouldn't detect any word. Then it comes with a popup telling me Swype is not for my phone.
Edit:
Works!
For anyone getting the “Configured for another device” error, please make sure that when you hit “Done” after Swype finishes installing, you wait for the “Enable Swype” window to appear.
DO NOT press the “back” button when you see the “Start Download” button again. The license file is being generated at the time, and exiting the installer will kill the license download.
Took me 5 install / uninstall cycles. Like the man says.. chill, relax.
Right about now I wish that I applied for the beta when it was open.
After I click done I get an error that Swype is already installed on my device, even though I have uninstalled it.
I got it installed on my Evo, but it keeps FCing. Come on Swype...work!!

* Automatically word wrap long subjects, when task/appointment is selected even in non "Fixed height" mode
* Small corrections to the scroll bar
* Option dialogs reworked, so it is easier for ME to add options and new functions! ;-)
* Smaller font size on vga screens available
* New icon (21x21) for 320x320- screens added
* Support for eXtremeAgenda added
* Support for ThumbCal add (only new appointment/task, open calendar/task list)
You can download this new version HERE
It has a totally new menu structure like PocketBreeze
Looks very nice! Will you ever add an option to hide the icon on the time line?
Now I have to use TodayAgenda and a seperate time plugin to have my today screen without any icons on it.
Great work though!

Right. There no option to hide the icon as you already noticed.
They all have an icon on the left like Calendar+ too.
Basically only German and English are in the installation pack. The below separate languages files are available.
Languages files:
Czech
Italian
Dutch
Russian
Right click and use save as "language.dat" i.e "NLD.dat" and copy onto "\Programs\TodayAgenda" on your device.
Check if regional settings are set to the right language, i.e. "dutch" for "NLD"
To activate the chosen language, deactivate and activate TodayAgenda again in "Settings","Today","Items"
If you like to translate TodayAgenda into your own language check here

One small request for this excellent plug-in
An option to show only the "due date" in task line (option already exists to show start and due dates). I already change the color of a task if the original start date is later than today, so I don't really need to know when a task started. And being at the end of the line it's often hard to see the due date. Trying to avoid the need to wrap text.
And, any additional integration with ThumbCal would be welcome. I think these two apps compliment each other.
Thanks

Well, the color helps to determine if the start date for a task is later than today, but the real issue is not being able to see the due date. For example, currently a task looks like this:
Task: Go shopping at supermarket (02.Aug/03.Aug) .
Often the due date gets clipped off on my screen so I have to assume it is the same as the start date or open the task to check.
My suggestion would be to offer a user selectable option:
Task: Go shopping at supermarket (03.Aug).
Where only the due date would display.
Currently my workaround is shortening/abbreviating the subject line like:
Task: Go shopping (02.Aug/03.Aug).
This works in most cases but is sometimes impractical.
This is the best appointment/task plugin app I have ever used (been using PPC's since the beginning) and this little workaround does not keep me from recommending this app to anyone who asks. It works great now, but I look forward to any incremental improvements that get added to future releases.
I have a question. Is this tiny little app in further development? Because i start a new thread in the next few days for all possible manila today page add-ins... Some information will be helpfull.

Thanks for the info hendrixus....
anyone know if thhis great program exist for Android or similar programs exists?
The important bit - get it here:
Version 1.5 (Donut - also Hero)
Version 1.5 (Cupcake)
I've changed the hosting of these files from 4shite. You shouldn't now have any problems downloading. The new links are hosted at www.androidspin.com - thanks guys!
Optimised version of V1.5 (Donut) (thanks Dwang)
Optimised version of 1.5 (Cupcake) (thanks Hotweiss)
(note ref the optimised versions; Dwang's works fine on my Magic but I haven't tested Hotweiss's. If you have problems try the originals instead.)
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT VERSION! READ THE CHANGE LOG (in post 2) TO SEE WHAT'S NEW.
Older versions can be found at the bottom of this post.
So what actually is this?
This is a new build of the stock browser, that incorporates the multitouch code from Cyan's build, along with some additional code of my own, primarily intended to make zooming less painful, and looking to gradually move towards an experience as rich as the Hero browser.
What does it do that's new, then?
* option in settings to disable the obnoxious on-screen zoom buttons that usually appear whenever you so much as breathe on the screen (turn off "Visual Zoom Controls" in the menu to get rid of them - off by default).
* when Visual Zoom Controls is disabled, option in settings to add zoom in and zoom out to the menu (although this will bump over options that are normally on the main menu to the "More..." list)
* Double-tap the screen to zoom in. When it gets too ginormous (about four zooms) a subsequent double-tap will zoom all the way out. Or you can just change this in the settings so double-tap always zooms in. Obviously it still has the multitouch option too from Cyan's code.
* Triple-tap to zoom out! (which I am particularly pleased about given that such an event doesn't actually exist in Android )
* Click top-right corner to pull down address bar. Click top-left corner to go back to homepage. Click top-left when on homepage to exit browser (i.e. "clear" it from memory insofar as Android apps ever get cleared from memory).
* Click bottom left to go to previous tab, bottom right to go to next tab.
* Maintain zoom level across a domain, so that when you get a comfortable viewing size, you don't lose it the second you move to the next page on a site.
* Maximum number of tabs increased from 8 to 32.
* As requested by fastludeh22, an option for "Mobile Web Settings". Select from Android, iPhone or Desktop browsing.
* As requested by fit333 (and who was as good as his word, and donated ), an option to lock in landscape mode.
* setting to enable hiding/showing of notification bar. Note that this needs the entire Browser process to be restarted to take effect (so use the top-left click to go home, click again to quit the browser, and then reload to see the effect).
What do I need to run it?
Well, a Cupcake or Donut based rooted Android phone, basically. Make sure you download the correct version. If you are installing on Hero, you might need to wipe all the application data otherwise you'll get force closes.
How do I install it?
The only "safe" way is to push it with ADB. Delete /system/app/Browser.apk and any Browser.odex. Then adb push my browser into /system/app/Browser.apk. Many people had success on Cupcake by just installing via file managers. I managed to upgrade - note, UPGRADE, not install from scratch - by downloading it on my phone from the download link. It'll tell you this is a system application, do you want to update it - say yes. This was on Dwang's Donut ROM. However, the only method I'll "support" is via ADB because it's all so variable. ADB should (in theory) work on any ROM.
I installed your browser and now I can't browse the interweb, my phone exploded, I lost my job and suffered an embarrassing rectal prolapse in a public place. I blame you!
Thank you, please call again. All purchases are final. I would suggest that one uses a program to back up your bookmarks at the very least before installing this.
This is the best thing since self removing trousers! What do I do now?
Send me money by clicking here.
Future improvements I'm hoping to do:
* A proper full screen option (i.e. where you'd also hide the title bar as well as the notification bar, and only show it when pages are loading)
* Hero-style lairy Mac coverflow-esque bookmarks (some way off in the future methinks!)
* tidy up what behind the scenes is, unfortunately, some really kludgey code!
Thanks go to:
* Cyan, obviously, without whom none of this would have been possible, and whose ROMs continue to break new levels of awesomeness
* makethetick, who pointed me in the right direction for the code in the first places
Raspberries go to certain individuals in this thread.
Older versions kept around just in case. THESE ARE ALL CUPCAKE BUILDS. IF YOU INSTALL ON DONUT YOU'LL GET CORRUPTED MENU ICONS.

Loccy's BetterBrowser - new stuff and bug fixes (v1.5: 7th Sep 11:30am/BST)
Changes for 1.5
* Bottom left/right corner click to cycle between tabs (so bottom left goes to previous tab, bottom right goes next)
* Slight change to top bar behaviour, because a couple of people didn't like it and were being put off upgrading. Top left corner to go back to the home page (and then again to quit the browser) is as it used to be. Pulling the address bar down is now top right corner rather than everywhere across the title bar - many people were complaining that they kept doing it accidentally so I've made it a little more "deliberate".
* Removed zoom in/out menu options. They were an early feature before I figured out double/triple tap, were buggy anyway (and non-existent in Cyan's implementation for Donut, even though the menu option was still there!) and I suspect no bugger used them any more.
* Glorious Donutty goodness! (i.e. you don't need to wait for Cyan to incorporate my changes, or suffer dodgy screwed up icons if you install the Cupcake version). I used Cyan's Donut branch as a base. He'd manually pasted in the code from my Cupcake based builds to create this in the first place, a real tedious and laborious process that I now didn't need to do, so many thanks for him for that.
Changes for 1.4.3
* Fix/change for maintain current zoom level across page loads. Now, it only maintains zoom across a domain (so if you're on site xyz.com, and zoom out to a comfortable level there, it'll maintain the sizing across pages on that site. When you go to another site abc.com, that one will start out at zoom level 1. This has the side effect of fixing the column-sizing issue that affected most sites but was most prevalent on mobile sites).
* Slight refinement to the top-corner and top-bar click algorithms. Should work a lot better now for those of you who have the notification bar visible when in the browser.
* Increased maximum number of tabs from 8 to 32. Not sure how this'll hold up, memory-wise - feedback please.
Changes for 1.4.2
* Maintain current zoom level across page loads (so it doesn't suddenly zoom back in whenever you go to another page)
* Fix for top bar clicks (i.e. click title bar to pull down address bar, click top left to go home) when notification bar not hidden.
Release notes/changes for 1.4/1.4.1
* fix to force close on mobile sites when double tap zoom cycle goes back
to the "all the way out" setting (and this time it's DEFINITELY fixed )
* you can now double-tap/triple-tap anywhere on a page to zoom - previously, you'd have had to avoid areas where there were links, otherwise the link would start to load before your zoom would happen.
* setting to change triple tap delay value in advanced settings (so the
lower the setting, the more responsive double-taps are, but the quicker
you have to get your triple-tap in!)
* setting to change double-tap behaviour, between the existing zoom cycle,
and also now just a simple zoom out only setting (so if you want to just
keep it simple, and have double-tap to zoom in, triple tap to zoom out,
the latter will be the setting for you). How many zooms this will result in per cycle will depend on the page you're viewing.
* change to double-tap zoom cycle behaviour - now zooms ALL the way out
to give a true page overview, and also introduces an intermediate step
between page overview and 1:1 zoom (this is a nice level for sites with
big fonts, eg. aintitcool.com)
* click title bar (or top of screen) to bring down the address/search bar
* click top left of screen to go to home page. Click it a second time when on the home page to exit the browser completely (or double-click from elsewhere).
Cool, double tap to zoom in and out would a nice feature to have.

I think the zoom buttons can be beneficial sometimes instead of multitouch zoom for situations when you are using the phone with one hand. That's when I have use for them. But I guess if the double tap feature from Hero were implemented, this would have the same effect. Good job on the idea tho and keep up the hard work!

Not sure. I believe JACxROM and Cyan's have the same multitouch stuff in their kernels, so I see no reason why it wouldn't, but I might be wrong.
The double tap from hero would be nice good work on this.
Anyway you could post detailed uninstall old and install new instructions? Maybe terminal and adb commands?
You are my new best friend !
Thank you so much. Works perfectly.
Very nice! Always wanted this after using hero's browser.
One question: would it be possible to make the browser full screen (like no status bar)?
Works Great!
This was a really cool idea! I also would like to be able to double tap as well.
One more would be a way to get the screen back to original size without having to go back or open a new page.
I installed completely through terminal.apk
Good Job!
no rush
Thanks for the intallation info. No rush take your time. I know u just posted this not too long ago. Think of it this way though if u could get that cover flow going for the bookmarks that would be a major breakthrough for u cause then the rest of the devs would have to come to u for help. I think Hycuro had it to but with a second home launcher from the hero built. Thanks again.

Then did the following..note that I renamed the apk to Browser.apk:

reboot

FINAL ADDENDUM:
- A2SD, flash THIS just after ROM. Download some info application, check free space. Run:
Code:
su
a2sd install
In Terminal emulator.
After reboot, check free space.
Install some app: space shouldn't decrease very fast.
If it decrease a lot, something is not working.
Run:
Code:
su
a2sd check
for checking which is the matter.
Usually
Code:
su
a2sd repair
will be able to repair an old A2SD installation, and
Code:
su
a2sd cachesd
will force the dalvik-cache on SD. Very useful, if you ask me.
Please report non-mentioned bugs in this thread with a SIZE 7 RED TEXT, so I can see it better (I'm short sighted ) !
Thank you
Addendum:
Copied over from the other thread!
Camcorder force closes, dialler works, and wifi works. Light sensor seems fine to me too.

Nope, with cyanogenmod you will never find google apps, even in final builds. You will always have to flash them apart
Once you put gapps on it makes it look more like the phone we know again. lol
Edit: F/B sync doesn't work, and the led turns Green at 90% charge.

Just flashed the package, will test them as soon as it boots. Until now only video recording is broken.
nvm. 10charlimit.
If someone has been experiencing echo/white noise with Froyo roms previously, can they report whether they are finding this occurring with this please?
Automatic brightness is sort of broken: you have it to tinker a little with it to make it working.
When it works, it only goes up automatically: you have to make the device sleep to make brightness go down again.
A2SD legacy way (trasparent to OS) is not activated: I automatically let it download my apps, and when it finished, I had 30 megs free.
I will try to break my installation now, just trying tremor a2sd script
Don't try it, it won't work (still... I'm reporting everything to the tremor thread).

That's quite clever: most phones, even high end (Nexus one or our Desire) actually have a very pooooo 512 flash memory.
Instead, everyone can get a 4/8 GB Class 6 SDHC memory for not more than 20/30 EUR.
It would be stupid to still leave everything on ROM...
Froyo-way A2SD is just the starting, and it would be good only for GB devices owners that doesn't want too give away too much space for games!!!!
Testing 07 / 07 build
How is the rom? Is it fast/smooth? How is the 3D performance & animations?
I haven't used CM since my HTC Magic so a little review will be good
the KING of custom rom's cyanogenMOD is Back
Can't wait to install this on my Desire
Hardly waiting for Cyanogen MOD 6.
Want to use a original ROM of him since i testet a port on the Hero =)
Cyanogen u do it =)
YES!!!
Woken up to expect froyo sense...
And I get cm. THis is truely a good time to have a desire.
Full Root next maybe?
is this official?
no mention on benocharms twitter or cyanogens...

Calculator
Calculator is focused on extending the traditional 4 function calculator, keeping its simplicity while still adding features used in higher level math. It uses the original Android calculator as a base.
The project was started by me in June 2012 and by October 2012 it was accepted into CyanogenMod. Since then, users of the app have helped greatly in cleaning up the ui, improving the matrix features, and translating the app into all the languages currently available. Without them, this app would be nowhere near as polished as it's become.
Because the app is intended as a full replacement, it's recommended that you hide your default calculator by either disabling it (v4.1+) or using a custom launcher. Otherwise, the similar app names may prove confusing.
Calculator has the following features and more:
-Basic arithmetic
-Trigonometry
-Complex numbers
-Graphs for X,Y functions
-Matrices
-Hexadecimal and Binary support
-Widget for lockscreen and launcher
-History of previous calculations
-Themeing support
The app is completely open source and the source can be downloaded at: https://github.com/Xlythe/android_packages_apps_Calculator/tree/ics
Note: The pictures below are old and from the beta test. Check out the market link for more current pictures.

This totally made me LOL. Thanks for starting work on this. It's about time someone improve upon the stock calculator (which is just an embarrassment in its stock state for a utility on a smartphone of all things).
I'll keep a watch out for this
wow. looks promising so far, cant wait to see where this app goes
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........u literally saved me from carrying my Clucky TI-84 calculator
Sent from my cm_tenderloin using Tapatalk 2
Seems to work (only tested the Stock Functions)
One thing that dont work:
on Stock Google Calculator youre able to drop down the Panel to see your last functions you did .
(sry english isnt my main language so its kinda hard to explain what i mean exacly)
If you dont know what i mean, ill try to send you some screens tomorrow
I think I know what you mean, but some pictures would be very helpful. [: If I broke it, I can fix it this weekend.
To Everyone:
Which is less confusing? Having an X and a Y key or having an X and a Y= key?
hi nice looking app, however is it possible to show the last few calcuations (history mode)? looking for something simliar to the default windows 7 calculator.
That's what blutlust is asking about too [: I think I may have broken it because I remember it being there before. I'll try to fix it tomorrow or Saturday.
ill send you the screens in a message because i didnt post enough to implent them in this post.
to your question about the x - y key :
if the button give you the solution of the equalation, then x = would be better
You meant like that? I don't remember that in the CM9 app. Is that someone elses mod?
Either way, I can add it to this one too now that I know what it looks like.
-------------
About the Y, Y= thing. Actually, I'll ask this. How many of you couldn't figure out how to graph?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Yeah i meant like this, i posted on the Screens.
This is the Stock Calculator on Samsung Galaxy S 2 , just the color are modified to fit the ICS Theme
About the Graphs, they arent necessary for me at work, but functions like sin, cos, hex, bin, dez are important.
1.1's been released. It's almost entirely focused on matrices.
Change Log:
-Cross and dot product
-Matrices scroll downwards instead of left and right
-Spacing added between panels in Tablet mode
-Small tweaks to the matrix popup
I'll focus on a pull-down for history next. And blutlust, you want buttons to turn the answer into Hexadecimal or Binary?
Edit:
Does anyone know of an open source project for pull-downs like the notification bar? Or an app that uses them?
Yeah, this Buttons would be Nice for Sure
(only if you want to do this)
I dont remember any Opensource Project with this dropdown menü, but if it helps, ill send you my Calculator Apk, so you can take a look.
Sure, that'd be great. It would let me play with it and see how its done. [:
I added logic for turning the answer into Hex and Bin so it'll be in the next release.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Ill send you a PM with download Link for Calculator.
One more Suggestion/Tipp :
Is it only possible to show the answer in bin & hex or is it possible to calculate in bin & hex
For example : 0001+000e =000f or
0000 0010 + 0000 0001 + 0000 0001 = 0000 0100
Thx btw for Hex and Bin implementation
Alright, I'll have to add a toggle: Hex, Bin, Dec, as well as A, B, C, D, E, and F buttons. Otherwise I won't know if 10+10 equals 20 or 100.
The apk won't install on my Nexus 7 so I'm going to see if I can't flash it in recovery.

Sounds really good .
Cant wait to test it at all
Hopefully Samsung didnt play around on this apk for the Calculator
Thats the only i thing why i think, the apk wont install on your Nexus.
If the Trick with flashing dont work, i dont know any other Calculator who support/got a Drop-Down History :|
Gah, I've been silent for a while, sorry. I found a few bugs in my Hex app and felt obligated to fix them. So that and work have been eating up my time. The ETA for the next update will probably be Sunday or Monday since birthdays are lazy days and mine's tomorrow.
The plan for the next release is:
New panel for containing A,B,C,D,E,F,Hex,Dec,Bin
The plan for the release after next is:
Settings page with option to turn off panels
History pulldown (I hope. Haven't figured out how to do this yet)
Thanks for the support and advice / feature requests are all welcome! (Doesn't mean I'll actually do it, but hey, definitely welcome!)
Then, have a nice Party tomorrow and take the time you need
Good things take time to work flawless
Alright, there's a page for Hexadecimals in the code. I at least got that far. I didn't finish the logic for switching into Hexadecimal or Binary though (it's maybe 50% complete). Ah well, ya'll get an update on Tuesday or Wednesday.
To make up for it, here are some pictures:

LATEST BETA [November 27, 2016]:
DOWNLOAD LATEST NINTYPE: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.jormy.sixtynine
This will be alpha only until 2018 as Jormy still has some work to do with the algorithm, amongst other things on android
Features:
two-handed tap/slide hybrid input
shortcut system
customizable themes
Devices that I tested it on: Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900W8) Canadian model, Samsung Galaxy Tab S (8.4), Galaxy S3 i9300, Galaxy tab 4 (7.0), LG G4, Galaxy S7, Sony Xperia Z3, Galaxy A5
Youtube Tutorial:

Have fun typing. It will be frustrating in the beginning but it's really worth it. Stick with it for a day or two and you will get a hang of it, you will learn fast that's what makes this keyboard brilliant. Once you learn how to type on it, Swiftkey, Google Keyboard, A.I. Type, Fleksy, Swype, Touchpal X, and even your computer keyboard won't compare to the speeds you can reach on this keyboard.
If the dev updates the beta I will post the updated link here

i looked as well and i cant seem to find it either, sorry i didnt mention it before. maybe the next beta will have this option. if i do find out how, i will be sure to post it
Playing with it today.
I can't find a sound off option either.
Emoji-anything crashes the keyboard (no error, the keyboard just goes away for a minute).
Shortcut swiping is giving me a head-ache. Going to look for youtube video shortly.
Is there basic macro/shortcuts (ie, if I do "t " it expands to "the" ?)
I somehow messed up my topbar - it only shows the last words I typed, can't seem to go back to suggestions.
No clue on the slide-up flicking thing.
In settings, back pushes out of settings instead of back 1 menu (pita when trying to go through all the menus)
...BUT
For an early work, especially when he is concentrating on iOS - this is very, very promising!
i dont know about the basic macro/shortcuts i dont really use them. to reset your topbar i looked around the app but i guess the fastest thing to do is to reinstall the app. the flicking up thig u mentioned i think is the word selection after you type a word flick up from the spacebar to see other words you might have wanted to type intead of the one the keyboard displays. and yeah, the back in the menu pisses me of a lot.
I also agree. pretty well done for a beta. keyboard works for the most part.

Dev responded to me on twitter - no way to turn off noise at the moment. Says new version may come out in a few days.
If you are rooted, http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-app-settings-v1-9-2014-05-14-t2437377 can turn off the sound of the app.

Still loving the beta. Wondering when I'll be able to throw some money at a Play Store version.
