Last Call Duration app - Android Apps and Games

Hi, i was looking for a program that i didnt find, so please help me or if s.o. can write the code, i will be grateful.
When i talk on the phone sometimes I or the person on the other side hangs up, and u cant see how long my call lasted. So i have to go to call logs and search, but that takes time.
I think it will be good idea to have small app that will popup on the screen the last call duration for a second or 2 (like when u are in ASTRO hit "back" and it says "press once again and you will exit" - that kind of popup).
If there is such app already please tell me.
Thanks

Lol, my ear once accepted another incoming call from this girl that I was avoiding for ages... and I didn't even realise I was talking to her, thought it was my other mate.

Ouch!
If i'm not wrong, S2U2 can turn display off during a call. Great software!
I've tried two progs more: PhoneScreenLock and InesoftAddressBook.
Inesoft provide many features including display switch off during a call.
Phonescreenlock keep the display on showing info about the call, locking the screen.. but with long conversation you may frie your ear

Any updates on this one please? I have the same problem with running gazillion apps on my Polaris with my ear in call as benjb did.
Tried PhoneScreenLock - did not work well for me because its buggy (the lock screen pretty often appears somewhere BELOW the in-call buttons or start menu and needs to be switched to via closing in-call screen, which obviously renders it useless).
The InesoftAddressBook is not an option either, cause I already have other address book app and would like to stick with it (BTW my current address book has "slide-to-pick-up-call" feature, which makes me afraid that it would conflict with S2U2).
Sadly the Polaris doesn't have motion or light sensor... It would make my life sooooo easier with ZuinigeRijder's TouchLockPro...
So any ideas on what else I could use please? Thanks!
two things...
1) Are you aware that after you answer/make a call but before you put the phone up to your ear you can press the power button (not press & hold, just press & release) which will turn off the display, but not disconnect your call (or, turn off your phone)? No stray on-screen button pushing this way! With the screen off the "end call/hang up" button still functions and when you press it the screen will come back on immediately. If you need to access your address book or make a note etc during a call, press & release the power button and it will turn the screen back on and not effect your call in any way. If your phone is set up like mine and it returns to the home screen each time the screen is turned on, then simply press the green phone button and the dialer comes back to the top.
2) If #1 doesn't do it for you and you need software to accomplish this, then search this forum for MissedCallReminder (just like that - no spaces). Besides having an option to "lock screen on connect" it has a very handy feature (the main feature actually, as the name indicates) of being able to set up repeat reminders for missed calls and missed sms messages. Very handy. It can be setup to run automatically at startup so you don't have to remember to start it up manually. It also automatically unlocks the screen when you end your call.
Turned out I had bookmarked the app, so here's a link:

Dialer problem, not critical

Hello!
Can anyone help me to resolve this little, but annoying problem. Every time I make a call, the screen goes off right away. If I need to use a keypad, I need to press power button and then use keypad to enter extra digits for extension.
Is there any other dialer program? Default one seems to be not real convenience...
How to fix that? Help me, please...
I think, there is a solution/prevention of screen-off during call. Unfortunately at this time i don't know where I have it seen. Maybe AC(AdvancedConfig)

Text message problem using Keyboard, kicks me out of Texting!

1. Scroll using touchflo to Messaging
2. select a message and choose MENU > REPLY from touch 3d screen.
3. Slide out keyboard and start typing
4. PROBLEM: it kicks me out of the text message and opens up into 'telus quick find' and continues typing what I started to type. (It boots me out of the text messaging application).
Anyone know why this is?
It shows my blinking cursor in the text messaging field.... just before it boots me out of the texting application.
Mine does this sometimes too, haven't found a cause and/or solution.
Another problem is that if I close the keyboard as soon as I press the send button, sometimes TF3D crashes.
I don't worry too much though, they only happen occasionally.

I have a similiar problem and I need to click the blinking cursor in the text field to "lock" it there. It went away after a hard-reset. Still do not understand why...
i think i can help
i had a similar problem today, my problem was it switched to landscape, in 1 second opens my dialpad then i have to close that and continue typing.
what solved my problem was installing a file called "RemoveSkcerts.cab" or something similar, sorry but i dont have it with me on my touch pro, hope this helps u out
When you hit reply, do you wait fully until the whole messaging screen pops up or do you do press reply, and immediately open up keyboard?
I used to have this problem until I realized that you should let the whole messaging screen come up.
keyboard closes
when I reply to e-mail or even SMS, when I hit the space bar (both in physical keyboard & SIP), the application CLOSES ! ! this just started happening.

Exact issue i have
Yep, mine's been doing the same for a couple of days now... Stock T-Mobile ROM UK... Only had it a month, so haven't researched enough to change anything much.
I hit reply for the text, slide out the keyboard. I start typing and about 3 words into the reply it closes the SMS window and goes back to the main screen. It's fairly annoying as bugs go.
I hope this helps you work it out.

Hi!
Post number 5 is correct.
When you hit reply, do you wait fully until the whole messaging screen pops up or do you do press reply, and immediately open up keyboard and start typing? This the cause.
I used to have this problem until I realized that you should let the whole messaging screen come up.
So let the messaging screen come up completely.
Hope this help.

tried this....i still have the same issue......tp inadvertently kicks out to either home screen, or in most cases the phone dialpad screen !!!!
i tried soft reset and then reply, then things are fine......mebbe this happns because the dialpad application does not really close properly???? although i don't really see it running in the background or anythin......the dialpad cannot run in the background......but this dos'nt explain why occasionally it kicks out to the home screen???

Call back button in dialer like on blackberries?

is there any tweak or mod for one mini in dialer when your calling one number multiple times and when is busy you just press once call back button and phone is starting to call the number again?
the dialer will generally display the name/number of the last person you connected with, so just tap on it and it automatically dials.

Security App Idea for lockscreen - Timed, invisible security

Hi,
Since 1 year i'm dreaming about an APP but i can't find anything similar to my idea. I'm neither a developer to whrite it myself. If someone know an app similar to this idea or a framework to do the same please let me know. And sorry for my bad english.
I don't like to enter a pin, swipe a pattern, take a picture or fingerprint everytime i want to unlock my phone. I like it easy just swipe and unlock or double click screen. But after unlock there should be a timer running in the background like 10-30 sec. in this time you have to press a invisible button (user desides the location of the button). If the button is not pressed the phone lockes itself by a generated key, the key is then send to your email with login information like ip address, location and maybe a picture from both cameras. The only way to unlock it is by the key. You should also be able to wipe the phone remote and lock it by google.
There should also be a warning in the last 10 sec. when you may forget about it.
I know its maybe tricky with alarms and incoming phone calls. For alarm or incoming phone calls this feature should deactivated as the phone lockes itself anyway after you end call or cancel alarm.
I'm very shure this APP need root access, i don't care, i rootet most of my phones.
@MOD's: i hope this is the right forum to post this, if not im sorry.
Please let me know if there is an App like this. If not and someone like the idea and want to develop it just do it That would make me very happy.
Peace out

That would not be as secure as just using a PIN/password. Anyone could randomly press the screen after swiping and get lucky enough to actually tap the invisible button to unlock it even if they don't know that the invisible button is there or where it's located.
Come up with a better idea.

The Button is not to unlock the phone. its just something i know is there but noone else because its invisible. if no button is pressed after x secounds THEN the phone will lock with a complicated key send to my email. Invisible button is just an idea, could also be a noise you have to make or whatever. the idea behind it is to make your phone like the swort from Wesley snipes in the movie blade. If you not press the button your hand get smashed. Not to smash someones Hand but to make the phone unusable same time get pictures and location of the thief.
but unlocking phone for yourself is still just a swipe. I hope you got me this time. Sorry if my english is to bad to explain what i mean.

You didn't understand.
If you locked your device and someone picked it up and tried to unlock by swiping, it would take them to the timer you mention, while the timer is counting they could randomly tap the screen and get lucky enough to tap the invisible button, EVEN IF THEY DON'T KNOW IT'S THERE OR WHAT IT DOES, then the device will be unlocked.
I'm saying they could very easily "accidently" unlock your phone

I think you don´t understand.
the button and even the timer is unvisible. you can use the phone for x sec normally. YES maybe the thief is lucky and hit the unvisible button without knowing he did. But it won´t happen a secound time. then the phone get locked ............
anyways i would put the button in a area where you never tap, like corners.
i know this is maybe not the securest way to lock the phone but i'm lazy and i like to just swipe to unlock. it's just to have a little bit more security, i hate pin or patterns. But i see that i'm alone with that opinion
