In fact I think that when you change a font, you have that sort of bug where you can't see the name of the notifications... Well, anyway each time I tried to change it (even for the one from my own backup), I got this thing, and the only solution I found is to reflash...
But I'm not a dev or anything, so I don't know a lot of things, anyone could help us ?

Hey everyone i got it to work the way that i did it was i backed up my data/rom and i extracted the zip file. Then i used a app in the market called root explorer then i went into system/app then i deleted latin apk then i took the latin apk from the extracted zip and copied it in system/app then i rebooted my phone and went back into root explorer and then i went into system/app and went to latin apk and clicked install and it should work

It is a little buggy but it is nice it can be used. the keyboard is black and grey just do the method i did and you should have it

Does it actually work though?
nice looking keyboard.
I got it to install through extracting the zip and pushing the files through adb to my phone, haven't encountered any errors yet while using it except for that ever annoying fact of first day early adopters remorse of not having a dictionary/auto correct working yet

Had that same concern, DL'ed and installed it on Froyo (rom info in sig), works like a charm
btw, thank you soo much for uploading this .apk! This was one of my favorite apps in 2.1 and I wondered why devs didn't implement it in their 2.2 ROMs.
I've made some changes like Black & transparent looks....if you want that i can upload the same.....

In Root explorer you can fix the permission Or in xRecovery you can fix the permission for whole system...

My NS4G "is" rooted so I cannot say from personal experience but from what I read, you DO require root to load/run.

You can flash a font if it is in an update.zip format without being rooted for sure.

I used the zipped file you can find in that original link (not the raw apk) and installed via CWM 5023

All the fonts that you flash have the same name. Android calls for a certain string to show the font and
they all are universal just so they can show properly.
