Hi guys, I'm new here at XDADEV, I was just wondering if you could link me into a tutorial that I can upgrade my WM6.1 to WM6.5. I mean a latest tutorial for upgrades. I found one entitled windows mobile 6.5 (build 23518.5.5.0) here in the forums, should i just install this to my phone? or what thanks experts

oh btw, does any WM6.5 upgrades comes with TF3d
Welcome.
A good place to start is the sticky located @ the top of this forum as holds a guide on flashing and much more useful info.
TF3D is not included as the kaiser has never had 100% working due to drivers.
Please use the search and read stickys as you can be guaranteed over the years another user will have asked.

I currently have 6.0 on my kaiser. I would like to update it to 6.1 and unlock it. I'm getting very confused by everything I read and can't find most things. Any help would be awesome... start from the very begining....

Check out the Kaiser wiki..best place to start. In short, you have to install hardspl (again, in the wiki) and then run the ROM of your choice.

I recently bought HTC TYTN II and started using "XDA-Developers".So, Im completely new to this site and the words being used on this forum..My device has Windows 6.1 as OS(Operating System) . What is this ROM? is it OS? If so, When I install new rom....It will delete windows 6.1 ? Just getting confused. Thank you.

Okay I just updated my AT&T TIlt witht he Windows 6.1 ROM from the site, but now I get a GPRS error all the time now and I need the ROM for how it ships but on HTC I can not download it.

maybe your radio version is not compatible with Windows 6.1 rom.....

i´m a new user and an informatican but i´m a newbie in flashing smartphones. So i can´t understand the following Problem:
I have a HTC Kaiser 130 from German Provider T-Mobile. Because this wonderful WM 6.0 is so extrem slowly i decided to flash my ROM to new WM6.5. I went to this forum because here you have the best xda-developers ;-) so now to my problem: After flashing (and i was doing it by the newbie flash tutorial!) in each WM6.5 ROM version i found here for Kaiser, i have NO Sound on my device. And when i try to make a call the connection will be established but the speaker and the mic doesn´t work. so what have i done wrong? can anybody help me? i really really don´t want to use the original ROM :-( i´m a power user and i will throw it out of the window when i have to work with 6.0 T-Mobile Brand anymore :-D

I guess you forgot to flash your radio rom.
Try 1.70.19.09 so it will work.

Hi first time poster.
I am the proud owner of a HTC touch pro 2.
Ive been reading on this site about the different roms eg Manila but goodness im so confused, im not really that tech pro. In my settings screen it says "TouchFlo 3D 2.1.38158.2", after some reading on this site it seems to me thats the manila version. is that right? if so how do i upgrade it so i can use the custom themes and skins.
Also i have windows 6.1 on my device atm. should/can i flash it? If so what is the recommended rom to put on (if thats the right way to put it)

You can upgrade to wm6.5 if you want.
I can recommend Energy ROM´s
Leo= Manila 2.5 (slower for Rhodium)
Phoenix2= Manila 2.1 (better for Rhodium)

should i (do i have to) update my wm6.1 to wm6.5 to use the Energyroms?
i guess another way to put that question is, is it worth installing roms on my 6.1 or is it just simply better and wiser to upgrade to 6.5 and then flash a rom?

Don´t be afraid, if you follow instructions all should be ok
And if you don´t like 6.5 you can always move it back easy!

I cant seem to locat.e an upgrade rom for my fone and ive searched these and other forums like crazy, ive googled everything, been on the HTC website i just cant seem to locate it.

Thats the infromation on my fone. i put up a thread in another forum and they just showed me the google link for the search and closed the thread. The search didnt help at all. Does anyone know where i can find the update FOR THIS.
