I am using the O2 Atom and would like to use the built in TS client to connect to some servers. Unfortunately, for security reasons, the TS port numbers are non standard.
How do I change the default TSC port numbers?
The servers use FIPS but I can lower this requirement if the WM5 client can't handle it.
Finally, currently Terminal services is allowed only through a VPN can I use VPN with the built-in client?
I've configured VPN for POP3 but don't seem to be able to get it to work with the TS client.
default port is 3389, if for example you connect to 192.168.1.1, in terminal server client you just add the ip address 192.168.1.1 and click connect, if the default port has changed to for example 7878, you would now type in the server address 192.168.1.1:7878
hth
Thanks for the reply ... but I think it doesn't work like XP or any of the other Desktop Terminal Services Client.
If I type 10.1.1.1:1234 for example to connect to port 1234 on Terminal server 10.1.1.1 I will get a server not found error .... seems the Built-in Terminal services client doesn't understand the "ort" syntax.
This is infact the syntax I have been using from my XP but Can't use ip on the Atom.
Anyone done this before ?

I would like to know if someone here can help me setting up a VPN Server for my Android Device (HTC Desire).
I have a Debian Squeeze Machine running and need to set up a L2TP/IPSec Server using openSWAN and xL2TPD.
Well i guess ppl are aware of google's blunder(blogs say so) ..apparently all authentication tokens are unencrypted ..
I want to setup a SSH tunnel ..and have a account on freeshell.org ..
Using SSH tunnel on froyo and giving the correct username and password..The application says "connected" but my browsing is dead and nothing works well apart from ping (UDP queries) ....
The netstat shows no active connection to the freeshell.org i looked up all possible address using whois queries andnone of the addresses corresponded to "freeshell.org"
How do i get a free VPN account ??? if it is even possible
HOW do i get a free ssh server for tunneling ???please list free servers

So work has finally blocked irc.andirc.net...anybody know of any other sites I can use to log in without work knowing it's a chat room?
You could setup irssi on a *IX box and use an SSH client to connect remote connect to it. There are even web based SSH clients you can use.
I would like to know if there is an SSH app that can do what bitvise does on pc, like an ssh app that supports ssh tunneling for android, I want to be able to use some ssh tunnel information to change my ip on my android but the android proxy / socks changers i have found so far doesn't have the following options that bitvise ssh has (ip, port, username, passowrd), so I would appreciate if someone can suggest an app that can do this on android.
