Does anyone have the updated version of android market for some reason my market when I try to get a app it just download but does not install them and one app just keep on downloading but when I try to stop it the market force closes thank you for the help and I'm using a mytouch 3g with the ota 2.2.1 rooted

FYI in case you didn't know, the new youtube app is ONLY for 2.2+! That means no sense ROMs unless you're using the alpha wildfire port

i tried that, and when i installed the apk it said application not installed. i also tried a flashable version, but that didnt work. force close whenever i opened the market.
oh well, i'll just wait for the official update

Well I have an Evo and to get mine to update I just went into applications and cleared the data from the market app and within a minute it updated.

Clear market data from settings
rm /system/app/Vending.apk
then retry the apk.
Would someone be able to post a link here for the new market for qvga (wildfire)?
EDIT: dont worry, i found it. but it didnt work. i guess im not that desperate anyway
at least 10 characters.
After I updated to 2.3.3 my marketplace will not update to new version of market I think its 3.0. And it is greyed out where it says uninstall updates and just says cancel but I cant click it.is there a solution for this?
Just download the apk there's a thread in the general forum.

I got mine by clearing the data/cache, force close, and phone restart. Opened market and it automatically updated. Might help you out.

One can freeze Market Updater with Titanium Backup and it will never auto update the market version. This does not affect downloaded apps updating.
