I've been running into a problem where email gets deleted from the app almost immediately after I check it. Has anyone else seen this problem? Any idea the causes?
anyone knows how to search email in the stock email?

Anyone knows where to find a changelog for this version? The facebook group was last updated last thursday...
Im looking for a changelog as well, doesnt seem to be any. But judging from the user comments, i guess it fixes some bugs with the notifications on some of the new froyo phones.
I noticed in settings I no longer see an option to sync with contacts

Not a true changelog, but figure i'd share:
Facebook for Android: Hi folks, an updated Facebook for Android 1.3.2 app is now available for download. It now has support for the Android 1.5 OS. The update also includes some additional bugfixes. Enjoy!

Yup, same for me, now it's fixed, thank god!
I'm not sure if this problem was brought up by 1.3.2 but I'm having an issue where long messages with more than one person in them aren't being entirely shown. For example if a message between 30 people goes on for more than 30 responses I only see the previous 30 responses in the official app. Anyone else have this problem?
"neebie" how do you even sync your contacts? coming from a htc hd2 im pretty lost

Yep, same occurs for me. I've been commenting on that in my review for the past few releases, hoping someone from Facebook would see it.
Still not fixed though.

For now I use the app for notifications and touch.facebook.com for everything else.

The email app installed on the HTC One S is horrible compared to the standard android app when using it for activesync/exchange.
It doesn't display email properly and doesn't have message advance and back icons. You have to open the menu to get to them.
Does anyone know of a way to replace it?
You could just install a different email app. I hear good things about K-9 Mail (have not tried personally).
I actually think the standard android email app is pretty bad for Exchange, since its meeting invites do not show time or place directly.
I've used k-9 for imap connections, but it won't do an activesync connection to sync my contacts and calendar, unless there's a new version that does that.
I switched back to "Enhanced Email".
I couldn't find a way to change the ringtone in the one that came with the phone.
I also didn't like that you couldn't move back and forth through the messages like mentioned above.
I see Enhanced Email is $9.99 in Google Play.
I got it for free when it was the app of the day for Amazon.
I didn't know there were any alternatives other than Touchdown.
I'll give it a try.
Thanks.
I fully agree with you.
I already complained a month ago to htc for the lack of html support for example.
They escalated it to their technical support with no answer yet.

What are you talking about? HTC email app has the html support. Its like basic feature!
At least my exchange server, the original ics one showed html while the htc one option is grayed out and not working.

I have three different activesync acounts on my htc one, and none of them display hmtl.
Also, the attachment don't display from the mail client. You have to download them and open them directly from a viewer app.
Weird. It works on my exchange activesync account. See attached.
Attachments work fine too.

For me this is totally greyed out..
might be related to the exchange server version?!

I don't think so. Whatever the exchange server version is, html should always be supported. Did you say it worked on other android phones?

When I had my Desire, I installed one of the ICS beta version (AOSP) and on that native ICS email client with the same exchange server, html support worked great.

Its definitely a bug in your email app since it works for me and other android phones. I would suggest removing the account and adding back if you havent tried that already. I would also factory reset and see if it fixes. if nothing, the only option is to get a replacement.

Thanks for the Info and efforts.
I did several factory resets with no change.
I also already had the firmware updated with no change.
I asked htc support about that and they escalated it still with no answer for more than a month.
Yet, when I enter an account which is not my exchange server like Gmail and such, I do get html support. That's why I figured the issue is related top my exchange server version...

Just out of curiosity, what is the version of the Mail app on your phone? Maybe this is not an issue in all T-Mobile US phones because of different version.

I used samsung stock email app since s2. I was able to view the next email after deleted unwanted email. But with s6, it will exit to the main page. I need to click the next email which is extra step and kind of annoying. I can't find any setting to solve this problem. Anyone knows how to solve it besides change to another email app
Sent from my SM-P605 using XDA Premium HD app
Looking for a solution to this also. Seems stupid they took this out. Other than switching to a whole new email app is there anyway to do this? Maybe through root?
I'm researching and found someone had the same question back in June but I didn't see an answer. My nexus 6 has it in the fb messenger app so maybe Huawei is only allowing another version of the app? Anyone fix this issue?

I uninstalled the app then reinstalled and got the option. Strange that it was up to date before, oh well.
I googled and found something from March but has anyone else had this issue and fixed it. It seems like it just started yesterday but I've had the phone a week.

Use your stock messenger app and see if you have a problem, if you don't the problem is with that hacky crap in Facebook messenger. Personally I don't give anything from Facebook more permissions than I absolutely have to
Yup, it's the fb app for sure =/. Has no issue on my Nexus 6 but on M9 it does. Oh well
