Hi people,
Recently went to the market, and I tried downloading Green Power. It claimed to be able to work with 2.3.3
However, I don't see it toggling 3G automatically.
Has anyone managed to get it working?

If you are connected to a wireless network the app doesn't use your data connection. Try running the app with your wireless off or turn off your router. You'll see it working then.

Huh I thought the main objective of the app is to turn off the 3G when its not in use?
What's the point of turning off the wifi or router?

I use an app called "Network Switcher" which seems to work well on my Nexus S

I got this yesterday it does switch off the 3g so I think its been working. Although there were a few times when I switch RH screen on and off too quickly that it takes 10 seconds o so before 3g comes back
So far its been good using greenpower can update later

The reason I said to turn off wifi/router was so he could see if the app was turning on/off his 3g connection properly; that being his question

Alright its been a few days and I can safely say that green power is working out awesome for me
If I just leave the phone alone it last a lot longer I'd estimate it to using around 10-20% battery judging by the percentage reported by the phone

I'm on my phone and search is horrible. How do you clear the GPS? My phone takes 3 hours to lock on

what do you mean by clear the gps? my guess would be to turn it off and then back on or hard reset your phone. using wireless networks might help speed up finding your location too (if it isn't already on)
Is there a 4g toggle to turn on and off

There's not an accessible API yet for accessing the WiMax radio - thus no toggle outside of the settings page. I haven't looked through the updated wimax code for 2.3.5, but I'd guess they didn't add public methods accessible via reflection (and it's not in the API either at this point).
I installed minimalistic text, then created a widget that takes me directly to the 4g menu (where I can toggle it). I also have it display my batt life.

I just use anycut to make a shortcut to the 4G menu to toggle it on or off.

What do you guys use? I'm nothing with this device I'm using more data. Wish I knew exactly how much on at&ts network with a widget. Have any of you guys been throttled when hitting 5gb yet?
The only one I know is called onavo.

From the phone just call *data# and you will receive a text of your data usage and text messages.

This is the only one that matters. AT&T is always inaccurate, and the only number that matters is their number.

I use Data Counter Widget by Roy Solberg - pretty simple but shows me what I need quickly.
Here Dome screenshots of widgets and watch dog app sorry are in spanish Because im from México is the best for me

My data manager has worked well for me in the past. Now I just use the one built into jelly time. And always check the AT&T number daily.

I use 3g watchdog. I recommend this

I used watchdog before, but now I ok with the ICS 3G meter (Rom). I don't need this meter to be perfectly accurate as I never use all my data. I have wifi at home and at work.
I'm looking to do some poking around in wireless display but I can for the life of me find the app the rip it apart, what app or apps manage wireless display?

Either WiFi or framework would be my educated guess.
What app handles wifi? Framework is a no go, same with system ui. At the moment I'm looking for the wireless display quick settings tile icons and I can't find them anywhere. I've searched framework, system ui settings apks and havn't found it
