Disable logging - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

While I know it serves a purpose is it possible to reduce the amount of logging android does? From looking at logcat it logs everything, service starts, app starts, button clicks, and backlight timeouts. That must account for some slowdowns.

Doesn't it only log such things when in debug mode?

I just tested and currently using Wefi Connector app to bypass entering the whole Static IP information.
•Search "Wefi Connector" on market

It makes it to were you don't have to put in the whole Static Info. You can just connect and go. (And connect to other wifi spots without changing stuff)

I did a few tweaks. But I haven't found an app that forces ring (as I thought)
EDIT: TWEAKS DIDNT WORK. Probably just gotta wait it out. I tried.
Did you also try FXR WiFi fix & rescue?
Now all we need is an app that opens music player when a call comes in. Then we'll have a ring... ;p

You can actually do that with tasker, not sure if it'll do the trick though..
Is it "Weficonnector" or wificonnector. Was unable to find the former.
Thanks.

Location problems

My phone after many ROMS has lost the ability to locate itself. I'm not talking about gps either. It simply can't use any network to locate itself. Anyone encounter this or know what to do?

Explain what locating itself means and some of the steps you have already taken and did/didn't work. Elaborate a little bit more so I can understand the issue

I can confirm that every time I flash a new Rom it takes a long time (2-5min) to locate itself for the first time.I haven't paid to much attention to see if it's getting worst.

I have just learned to assume people are. Especially people who are the only ones reporting a problem.
Your phone will use triangulation(cell), gps and wifi for location. It is really hard for me to believe that all three of those have failed. So either your missing the glaringly obvious or you are the unluckiest person ever to own the Rocket.
OMG I've been through this nightmare and here is what I did:
Yes you know and you already did it but make sure and here is why:
There is a Green button in apps menu (Google Settings) that overrides all the maps locations, ads, searches and other junk. Go in there and toggle location settings on/off.
There is a Blue button in apps (Google Now) and have that on too for now until you get it working but the Green (Google settings) supersedes all and blue doesn't have to necessarily be on.
Good luck champ!

Samsung being sneaky trying to access facebook

So, I get this prompt in my notification menu that says, "Your login session has expired," and then it shows the facebook logo or something identifying it as facebook(I can't remember which.) So, I click it and log back in and it brings me to a screen saying that samsung would like to access my profile, so I click, "close," then the whole app just shuts down. Now maybe when an app tries to access your wall this is just the way facebook responds, but the whole thing just seems kind of shady. It acts as if you had been logged out and you need to log back in, then it just tries to get you press next the whole way through and allow samsung access to your facebook.
