Landscape dialer? - Captivate General

I have searched both xda and the web for more information about allowing the dialer screen to rotate to landscape mode, but there is remarkably little information about it. Does anyone know if any of the car mode apps that are floating around can rotate the dialerer?
Also, is the dialer a separate app, or is it part of the launcher app? Are there any themes out there that change the dialer skin?
Thanks!

Dialer One (free in the market) supports landscape and will rotate the keypad. It's a nice replacement dialer that supports speed dial, contacts, call log, etc.
I have found no way to replace the "in call" screen which is always portrait.

Landscape dialer

Hi, I drive alot and struggle to read the stock TD2 dialer.
In particular I cant easily see the favourites 'wheel' on the 'people' tab.
Is there any 3rd party dialer (preferably landscape) that will give me nice big dialer buttons and a 'tiled' favourites tab that I can easily se?

BsB Tweaks & sense rotation: All or nothing?

It seems that if I use BdB Tweaks to enable rotation for any Sense app (such as text messaging or weather, it enables it for all Sense apps. This creates a problem with the music and docs tabs that are already set up to rotate. Now they rotate 180 degrees.
Anyone know of a work a round that would exempt the apps that already rotate?
Thanks!
Sense and all of it's little knick knacks (music tab, photo's tab, email, messaging... all of it) is one big fat package that shows up as a process called manila. All that stuff is one big program, so if you add one of them... they all get added.
No workaround for this. Sorry

Can you help me find a 'People' widget similar to this one?

Hi all
I'm looking for a People widget with the same functionality as the attached screenshot that I can use with LauncherPro, preferable scrollable. The attached comes from Sense and has the handy "most recent event" notification, plus a number number bubble for SMS. The People widgets that come with LauncherPro are basically just pictures you can click to get to a preselected contact method. I've tried a few from the Market with no luck.
Any ideas?

HTC Sense Refugee - Looking for Help with TouchWiz equivalents

As a recent refugee from HTC Sense, there are a couple of features from HTC Sense that I'd love to be able to replicate on the GSIII.
#1 - to help with conference code entry, on HTC Sense if you click on a phone number from an appointment entry, the dialer is displayed with the phone number populated, you click call, and when the call is connected the appointment entry is shown in the space above the number keypad so that you can see the appointment details including conference call codes
#2 - is there an equivalent widget to the 3x3 contact favorites widget included with HTC Sense that allows you to set a default # to dial for the contact and/or display the contact full details?
#3 - can you set homescreen shortcuts to individual mailboxes? i.e., i have 3 different ActiveSync accounts and I like the ability to have a unique shortcut to get to each one (even better is if the shortcut shows the # unred for each mailbox)
#4 - suggestions for a HTC Sense like dialer? the TouchWiz dialer takes more clicks to find contacts than I recall from Sense
Thanks so much for the suggestions.

Don't know all of these, but i think I can make a few recommendations.
For your dialer, I would try a 3rd party one. Some should be a little smarter than the touchwiz one. Search for a dialer in the playstore and try them out.
If you want shortcuts, Nova or apex launcher allows you to make many more customizations than the stock touchwiz launcher. I'm pretty sure you can set specific shortcuts for your mailboxes through them.
Touchwiz definitely has its limitations, those widgets sound pretty cool. I don't know any widgets off the top of my head that are equivalent.

ExDialer defaut app

Helo
I have a LG G3 and i want to use Exdialer because i dont like the skin of the defaut dialer
Exdialer run perfectly except when i make a call or answer to a call it is the defaut dialer of LG.. There is a solution for have Exdialer for all ?
Thanks
I am sorry but when i go to manage applications and set defaut to exdialer its grey i cant do anything..
ExDialer is only a dialer app. It does not change the incoming or outgoing call screens - which are handled by the system framework. Themeing/changing them requires framework level changes.
Dialer apps can only go so far as to provide you with the dialing screen and/or contact management.
