Spell-correcting dictionary

http://www.google.no/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=speliling
Anybody know of an app that corrects spelling, like google does? Preferably a dictionary which tells you what the word you were trying to type was.
I can only find normal ones

Gingerbread Keyboard from Market

I am using a stock Evo and downloaded Steven Lin's "Keyboard from Android 2.3".
I don't notice that there are any dictionaries in it. He mentions in his description to go download them, but I find none on the market.
The reason why I want an english dic is because I want quickfix to work, and other various abilities.
Anyone have trouble too?

[Q]Auto correct / dictionary

Quick question, is anyone having issues with auto-correct and /or inbuilt dictionary words? This is using the default keyboard, the only suggested words seem to be those relating to contacts etc which suggests only the user based dictonary is working....
Cant recall if this has ever worked so it maybe related to one of the roms im running.
This doesn't seem to be an issue with the Asus keyboard.
Thanks.

I also can verify that the Chinese handwriting input is missing, and the fonts zip doesn't fix it. I installed it through CWR. Do I need to mount the system folder first maybe?
Please fix this. I rely on the handwriting input to get through the day. If I see a some Chinese character I don't recognize, I use the handwriting input to search my dictionary. Without the handwriting input, I will have to switch roms, and I really like Prime the best.
The Chinese handwriting input is also not available in Revolver's rom. How can I get it back? This is extremely important. Does anyone know if the WW or TW roms have it? The Chinese rom has it, but it doesn't have google apps.
Yes I have also tried the resolver rom, it is also missed.
Hi,
I just find an alternative app from the market.
It have some Chinese input methods including handwriting.

Thanks, I also have gpen for handwriting input. But that's not the point, I want the Asus handwriting input. I really liked it. There has to be a way to get it back installed. What APK is it installed under, or is it embedded in the operating system? It is not a font that is missing, but the actual input method missing? Is it possible the latest update from Asus removed it?
I think it is missing in the version of US. It must be included in the TW and WW version.
Hey, yiphoming, this is completely off topic, but I noticed you are from Hong Kong. I'm going there next week. I heard they don't speak Mandarin there, that they speak Cantonese, and don't use simplified characters, but use traditional. Is that true? I don't want to have to negotiate prices in English. I like it better when I hear the natives argue over the price first so I know I am getting a good deal. I have to go there to change my visa.
Now most HongKong people can speak in mandarins.
Ithink u are better speak in mandarins rather than english.
Yes we are using traditional characters.
If you are shopping, pls negotiate price if the price is not disclosed.

Need to add dictionary to Alreader e-book reader

I like this Alreader for reading books. It says it can use various dictionaries. I have several compatible ones, Quickdic, Free Dictionary Aabby Lingvo.
I set any of these in preferences, but when I look up a word it tells me dictionary not found. I have even copied the dictionaries into the Alreader folder.
The best I can do is go to Share, where Aabby shows up, and use that. But this is not so good.
It would be great if I could add app shortcuts to the share menu, but this seems impossible also.
Could someone help me to configure a good dictionary for Alreader?
Does anyone use Alreader?

Hi,
I too had the "dictionary not found" message despite having compatible dictionaries installed. The solution for me was to is to simply uninstall the app followed by a re install
Hope that helps
Cheers
Hi
Had the same issue, googled it a bit, found a solution.
Use "English Dictionary - Offline" by Livio. Just installed it, launched AlReader and it was able to detect this dictionary and use it.
Good luck!
