htc Droid Eris hacking info?

So I downloaded some apps using the app installer on htc sync but I can't figure out how to get things like the font packs and stuff for my Open Home skin, Dark Dream, onto my htc Droid Eris. How do I go by getting files like this on my droid and then also executing them. I have astro and all that jazz.
Thanks!

i9000 ringtones

Hi, does anyone know where I could find the i9000 ringtones? It seems like AT&T removed everything from the original rom to create the captivate rom.
Google zedge they have tons of ringtones and wallpapers all free
There's a Zedge app for Android too. I love it

they are all the ringtones pulled from a stock i9000 froyo rom
Pirate wins the thread for that post.
Even though most are probably aware of this, I did not know where to store the ringtones to display in my list of ringtone options.
If you create a folder on the /sd root called "ringtones", they will be displayed on the ringtone list.
(...and excellent find on the stock ringtones!!! )

Droid X's music.apk on other phones?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was away to get the Droid X's music.apk working on other phones.
The reason I ask is because it has visualizations and seems to be the only player out that does this.
I did try to install the music.apk from a Droid X dump but it forced closed. I guess because i didn't have the libraries it calls too. Is it possible to do this in anyone opinion?
I have a Droid G2 with CyangenMod.
I would even pay if someone found out away to do this.
I noticed there is a Visualization.apk in the system/app folder on the droid X, Also there is a folder in the syste/ect called motorola that is called visualization in this folder there is a presets folder with a whole bunch of .milk files! does this mean if you have a droid X you can user any milk drop visualization you want?! I put that in my system/ect. I tried to run my music.apk it ran but when i doubled click the album no visualization.... =( still working on it. I think i need to have the actual music.apk from droid X but it forces close when i tried to install it after selecting song. I also copied libvisualization_jni.so to my lib folder.
Well I got mostly everything installed I needed and the player does come up and will start playing music for a second but when it trys to go to the screen with the album on it it force closes. I can also go to menu and there is a visuals option if i click it it force closes. I feel like i am so close but so far lol. I really wish i knew what .so files it calls on.
I don't know if this could help you or not but I came across this on another thread.

New User Sound Question - How Do I Get My Sensation 4G To Play Custom Sounds?

I have some little custom .wav and .mp3 sounds I want to use for SMS and missed call alerts.
Can I do that? I see Sensation 4G only offering stock or downloaded sets of tones.
Also, is there an easy way to get it to play a notification sound more than once? Say, if an SMS came through it would chirp 3 times rather than once?
Thanks from someone new to Android, but enjoying it so far.
Try this: on your SD card, create a folder called audio and in it you can make
alarms
notifications
ringtones
ui (not sure if this one does anything anymore)
So if you want a new text message sound you would place
mysound.mp3 into E:\audio\notifications
I can't confirm it works on the Sensation, but it works on my Nexus One
Confirmed that it works on sensation. I just tried it with notifications, worked like a charm, thank you! That has been bugging me for a while.

[Q] G2x - Weapon 2.6 - Ringtone location?

I love the new Weapon 2.6, but it doesn't find any ringtones on my phone. No matter where I place them, the only option I have for ringtones and notifications is "silent." I searched the forums and found one other person asked this same question a couple of months ago, but received no response. So I figured I would try asking it again. For anyone using Weapon 2.6, where are your ringtone files located so that they show up in the list of choices? Thanks!
System/Media/Audio
You should find the folders within that file path. I'm on weapon 2.6 and all my notifications & ringtones are there.
Hope that helps.

You can also make a folder on your sdcard called media, and then put stuff under there. (So it'd be /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones.) That's the setup I use. I switch roms a lot, and it's a lot easier than constantly pushing my custom ringtones to the system partition every time I install a new rom.
Thanks for both of your suggestions. I could see the ringtones in the System/media/audio directory. And I could move them to the sdcard and see them in there. But when I would try to change my ringtone or notification sound, there was nothing listed except "silent." I fixed the permissions through recovery, and they now show up in my settings. Must have forgotten to do that when I originally flashed. But thanks to both of you for letting me know that I was completely crazy or completely stupid.
