looking to buy

somebody knows a website with the lowest price, either with contract(att) or unlocked.
AT&T Premier (if you're a member) has several phones, including the Fuze for free... Today Only... Cyber Monday.
my account is a regular account not a business acount.
Sorry. Try Letstalk.com or Amazon.com .
Good Luck.

htc hd2 / leo - launch in the UK

hi,
i've been checked with the various providers that are supposed to launch this phone - o2/vodafone/t-mobile in the UK - but no one seems to have it in stock or have a clue on when it is expected. any insights into this or know where i can get one on contract in london.
thanks
O2 and T-mobile sell it atm. However there are very few in stock in the shops and the best way to get one would be to online order :/
Try Clove online., they are very reputable & fair prices.
thanks but o2 doesn't have it online yet and t-mobile doesnt have it in stock either and noone seems to have an idea when more will be available. while could buy it upfront would prefer to get it on contract. thanks.
If you didn't want it on contract then I would suggest these guys (just off Tottenham Court Road): www.inkino.co.uk
On contract is harder. Have you tried www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk or www.mobiles.co.uk ?

[Q] Verizon and Best Buy are once again requiring a data plan to buy the Xoom?

It seems that after briefly allowing the Xoom to be purchased at full price without a data plan, Verizon and Best Buy once again will not sell the device without a plan.
I stopped by three Verizon stores in NYC (86th and Lex; 86th b/w 3rd and Lex; and 43rd and Madison) and one Best Buy store (86th and Lex) over the past two days. Every single store told me that they will not sell me the Xoom for the $799.99 price without the $35 activation fee and $20 first month of data fee. A chat customer rep on Verizon's site also confirmed this. The Best Buy rep said that it's a stupid way to sell the Xoom, but the BB system won't even let him sell it without a plan.
This is kind of frustrating because I was ready to buy the Xoom -- but not if Verizon insists on this kind of B.S.
Just wondering if any of you got the same kind of nonsense from Verizon in the past couple of days?

[Q] Order Online Activation?

I am about to order the phone online at Best Buy Mobile's online store (or at least hopefully as it says its not backordered). However, once I get the phone, will I be able to activate the phone instore at Best Buy or ATT? Or do I have to do it online? I have an old plan I would like to continue and it is not offered online.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks.

Best place to get new phone?

I'm up for a phone upgrade with Verizon and am wanting to get a Razr M for it's superior specs over my Droid 2 and the fact the Razr M isn't the size of a 5 subject notebook like so many of the new phones seem to be now.
That said I know I can get it from Verizon, but have noticed Best Buy and Radio Shack both have the phone. I've heard bad stories about Best Buy screwing up peoples contracts or accounts and haven't heard good or bad about Radio Shack.
Also right now the Razr M is free AFTER rebate from Verizon if I visit their store while I believe Best Buy and Radio Shack both are free out the door.
What are your thoughts? Is there another, better, place I should go and renew?
Costco. Hands down. Free accessory bundle with every phone, USUALLY cheapest price in town and a 90 exchange period. No brainer.

Amazon.com
I got a very reasonable price from ebay because the legal backing from PayPal. PayPal will back the buyer in the event of a misleading advertisement. You still need to be careful and do your research, but ebay has my vote.
Depends on which manufacturer
Costco is good. Amazon maybe?
If you are willing to do it online then checkout wirefly or amazon wireless
If you want it in person then give best buy a try. The reason you hear so many horror stories is because they are the most popular non carrier store to get phones. They get it right more often then they get credit for. you don't have to worry about that rebate crap and they can set it all up if your not too tech savy. Plus occasionally they run promotions where people who upgrade through them get a $50 prepaid visa debit card
I worked at a Verizon store, trust me. I've had to deal with plenty of ****ed up accounts another vzw retailer screw up.
