I got the following error when I wanted to post a message in the Desire HD General Discussion:
To prevent spam to the forums, new users are not permitted to post outside links in their messages. All new user accounts will be verified by moderators before this restriction is removed.
I'm not a new member and neither pasted a link, so what am I doing wrong?
Users can't post links until they have 8-10 posts. And you're not trying to add an image or something?
good day.
Nope, just plain text. I just tried to post it again, and now it works. Maybe someone saw my post

could not post a question it says
To prevent spam to the forums, ALL new users are not permitted to post outside links in their messages. After approximately eight posts, you will be able to post outside links. Thanks for understanding!
Welcome to forums
There you have your answer
i know but i don`t use outside links. why it says that?
I wanted to upload picture of my phone settings and I got this message: "To prevent spam on the XDA forums, ALL new users prevented from posting outside links in their messages. After approximately 10 posts, you will be able to post outside links. Thank you for understanding! ".
so, in order to prevent spam I need to post 10 posts that I don't need? Is it sounds rational to you??

Maybe try making 10 helpful posts instead of, you know, spamming.
The 10 post rule does frustrate some people, but it serves a very valuable purpose. More information can be found from the link in my signature.

I'm trying to create a thread for a program I created called Bytecode Viewer, I'd like to post it in either http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking or http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software
However whenever I try to post I get the message saying I need 10 posts, I've gotten these but I'm still getting the message.
Are these sections reserved for a rank I don't have? If so am I able to apply without having contributed to the forum before?
Thanks for your time.
EDIT: I waited a bit longer and was able to create the thread, please ignore this thank you.
So I got a PM off a guy asking me what wallpaper I have and i replied about 3 times, each because the message did not show in the conversation (below his original message), Or in the sent list.
Clicked his profile and composed a PM, still not in my sent box. ?
I have searched XDA, found two results that look useful
the first results to finding out the user has less than 10 posts (XDA says i have 55)
and the second was "maybe the recipient blocked you"
Sorry if this is in the wrong place
Hi there,
Please post your problem here: [All XDA Members] Requests to Moderators and Admins
Good luck
Hello XDA,
I was wondering if there exists/someone wants to make an phishing app that actually Fakes the newest Facebook / Skype / Twitter (social site previously selected in a hidden menu) Android login pages, and store the given passwords and mail addresses in a folder or like fbphising.txt or something. So you just need to give your phone to someone and ask for them to log in because you know a cool trick or something.[emoji41]
This is for testing purposes only (and to prove a friend of mine it is possible to phish with an offline app) so
[emoji724] MODERATORS DO NOT DELETE THIS THREAD[emoji724]
it is not a scream to something illegal, its a question to crete an for-testing-purposes-only app.
Thanx already,
B
You already have a thread for this here:

From our forum rules:
5. Create a thread or post a message only once.
As a large forum, we don't need unnecessary clutter. You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer, revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time so it might take a while before you receive an answer. (Also refer to Rule 16)
