So from investigation, I can see that the call accept/reject screen is not part of framework. Where can I find images for the sliders on that screen? I skinned my lockscreen to look like stock android, and now i'd like to do the same here.
I would be interested in that same thing as well.

If I am understanding correctly, they can be found in system/app/BlurPhone.apk. Open to view BlurPhone.apk and they sit in res/drawable-port-hdpi.
I would like to know more about this also. BUMP

I know it's in the cpr files, but when i tried to change them, the start menu didn't work at all. I want 4 icons besides each other and 4 colums. It should be possible, but I don't know how.
Something like this?

Thanks, but this isn't what I'm searching for as this is a program which has to be opened each time and slows the phone. Despite this I'd like to have 4 columns, not 5.

This might be what you are looking for http://www.wmskins.com/thumbnails.php?album=35
I also would love this, will make a request over there. They don't have it exactly, just want (if I am reading the posts correctly) 4 icons across by however many down in a square grid, not honeycomb. Just looks silly esp. now don't have the honeycomb grid behind to give it structure.

Anyone know how to change color and shape to the lock button without installing a whole theme? I like the way my phone looks now and have worked hard to get it like this. I also like where the lock button is located on the screen but i would like to change color to it and maybe even shape.
And also, anyone know how to change the "slide" text?
Any help with links/cabs or other info would be much appriciated.
Here's a pic of the how it looks now..
I wish I knew the answer. I has something to do lockscreen .cpr files in windows.

Interested in this one... hope there is an answer
Using DC v2.06. I have a clear lockscreen, as shown below. Right now the notifications come up transparent (missed call, etc) at the bottom of the screen. With the clear lock, it's very heard to read the text. Hence why I added the extra black bar at the bottom of the phone, to make them readable.
However, that bar is ugly at the bottom! Is it possible for someone to figure out a way, through the xml file, to add a black shadow to the white notification text, so that it will still be readable with a clear lockscreen? See the default date/time text on the default lockscreen for an example of what I'm after.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You mean like this .
When no notifications:
Missed call:
Press while screen locked:
I applied a black background, 50% transparent, that will only appear when a notification message exists.
Replace the attached in your 'layout' folder and you are good to go (removed the .txt extension).

Everything transparent is basically the completely clear lockscreen, the above adds the shadow for when notifications appear, so that the text is more readable.

Still want me to send you a link? As mentioned, it should only be necessary to get a booting ROM, to do your work, then convert back. Let me know.

Awesome. Thank you so very much! I'll have to try this in the morning.
I seem to be having a problem that I didn't notice before using this...
When my alarm goes off, I can't disable it from the lockscreen. I have to unlock my phone before I can shut off the alarm.
JsChiSurf, could you let me know if you have the same issue? I'm not saying 100% sure that this is what caused it, but it's the only change I've made recently.
Thanks!

The XML files are compiled binaries. You have to use a hexeditor to modify / patch the locations in the binary you wish to change.
Is anyone else having the alarm issue with this? I have to unlock my lockscreen in order to turn off the alarm.
So, currently I have the (I think..) AOSP lockscreen. It looks nice and all, but I find myself missing the ability to be able to open my text messages directly from the lock screen. I found it extremely useful... I could go back to the default Froyo lockscreen, which of course has the functionality I would like, but I was wondering if there are any others around with the functionality I want, but with a... cooler? look? =]

Can you not just save the file and convert to jpg if required?
Exactly. Just download the pic and put it into your phone. Choose the file in your wallpapers settings and you are done. An icon is just a smaller version of a picture, it's not any different from a normal wallpaper file.
But I'm afraid that there will be a lot of pixel
up
not sure what the problem is. Download the image. Its already in png format(which is good since it supports transparency, and is optimal for icons)
Then use a launcher like apex or nova to change the icon of your desired app to the one you downloaded. Also its 96x96 pixels so nothing needs to be resized.

It is physically impossible to stretch this small image without it ending up being distorted by the small number of original pixels in the picture. I am sorry, but you are going to have to use an image like this:
(Argh, still no outside links, so the link looks like this
http:/ /img.wallbeam. com/63processed/dandelion-green-feathers.jpg
Hope you like this one just as much!

Paco.

You can't open the link because I put some "spaces" in there so I could post it here. xda does not allow new members to post outside links, only if they have over 10 posts on the forums. so just copy the link and look for the 2 or 3 spaces I put in there, delete them and look at the picture, because I think I found something really close to what you are looking for!
And there is no software that manages to do that. There is a feature on Photoshop or similar software that I know of that is able to reduce pixelation although it is not as good as you might think and it definitely can't make a small picture like this into a usable wallpaper...
Yes I forgot a space ! It's closed but not the same. Thank you for your help
