Stumbled on it while searching for the opposite, a VNC viewer. Works great. Lets you control your android from any computer using either a VPN client or from a browser. The app provides both a VNC IP address and a url to visit if you just want to use a browser
I've tried another product that was like MyMobiler (windows only) and it was ok but you couldn't interact with the phone.
Droid VNC server is an actual vnc server, what else is there to say. Very happy with this free app. And this is just a recommendation, I'm not affiliated with the dev or anything.
Wishlist for the app:
• I wish I could trigger teh server to start with a passphrase in a text message.
• Wish I could SHARE the IP address in a press or two so I could email or sms it to somebody so they dont have to type it in. I also can't copy it, that would be second best. (well I can copy it using CopyPasteIt but unless you have that app you can't)

You could setup Tasker to handle this.
I stumbled on WebKey that seems to do the same thing as this. Cool and free app, but you have to be rooted... but who's not. lol

I don't know about those, but I've been using LastPass ever since I found out about it. I love it and don't see a reason to ever change. It has computer-browser addons for all browsers (at least the main ones i.e. Chrome, FireFox, IE, Safari, probably Oprah too). And it automatically syncs with your online account.
I'm using keepassDroid and keepassx, synced via Dropbox. Note that you need keepass[x] V 1.x on the PC for full compatibility. Syncs easily between Android, Windows and Linux.
Definitely LastPass:
it stores all data remotely, so you don't have to sync between devices
it has WWW interface, so you could access your passwords even on a PC without LastPast installed
it has application for Android
it has plugins for many desktop browsers and for Dolphin Browser for Android. These plugins are awesome - they auto-fill forms or even auto login you, they detect registration forms and ask you to generate and fill password automatically, then save your new site, etc.
It's free to use on a PC, but if you want to use it on Android, then you have to pay 1$/month.

I would stick to keepassdroid and dropbox. Keepassdroid is open source and available for nearly every platform. I use it for more then 10 years now on different platforms and never had problems. Import and Export is available too, in case you need data migration, which is real problem for some other apps which lock you in...

That's about right, I also use keepass combined with Dropbox.
Im also using keepass in conjunction with dropbox (encrypted with truecrypt).
I'm was wondering if any of you who are using online password keepers ever wonder who can access your personal data when storing it online. I would be sceptical to this....

I use it on 2 computers (Windows XP and Windows 7), an Android phone, and an Android tablet.

And you store your personal data on a Dropbox, so online - right?
I use LastPass and I really like it. It encrypts/decrypts data on a client side, so 3th party doesn't have access to it. Actually this is exactly the same as Keepass + Dropbox solution, but fully automatic, with browser access, etc. I was using Keepass previously, but LastPass is much, much better.

I use SplashId, it works just fine for me.
On Android I use KeePass with DropBox.
Otherwise I use LastPass.
I use Catch! Used to be calld 3banana. Best note application I have found, been using it for months now. I have it set to use a 4 digit PIN to log into the app.
It may not be your cup of tea for managing passwords, but it's how I like to manage mine.

Hi, my university (California State University, Long Beach in case you know it) has a splash page (BeachNet) for its campus-wide WiFi network. The page requires you to log in and prevents you from saving the username and password via (I'm guessing here) autocomplete=off.
Is there a way to get around this limitation via the Android Browser (or any other browser)? The page does not have to stay open, you must just login once. Disconnecting and reconnecting even works w/o re-entering credentials.
Does anyone know how to force the browser to save log-in information?
Edit: Being able to open the page, it's basically something like secure.arubanetworks.com/login.cgi&ip=10.0.0.0&mac=4d:7e etc. So it looks like the mac address and ip address are used as part of the URL identifier. I suppose that this would mean the browser would see them as separate pages. Hope this helps!

theres like 97268466 apps to do this. just search the market for remote pc or something. i use pocket cloud and team viewer, but there are tons of vnc apps, log me in, and i hear theres since rdp apps in the works.

Here's what I do for remote access:
- Download and install VNC software for your computer. I use Tight VNC. Make sure you use a password for incoming connections!
- Forward ports 5800 and 5900 to the PC you want to control. This is done in your router. You'll need to know the local IP of your computer. You can google this if you don't know how. It should be something like 192.168.1.100
- Download a VNC viewer from the market. I use Real VNC viewer. It's expensive, so I'd try a few free ones first.
- Find your public IP address. You can find this in your router or google "Whats my IP". There are lots of websites that will show you what your IP is.
- Fire up that VNC app on your phone, enter your public IP and the password you set and you should see your desktop.
A few notes:
- You can set a static IP for your local computer. Chances are this will not change too often.
- Your ISP will change your public IP every so often. You can pay for a static IP that does not change, but I do not. Mine changes every six months or so.
That's about it. Good luck!

phonemypc is the easiest to use that I have found.
Install on your pc and setup your own login and password. Install app on your phone and enter that same login and password.
You can control multiple pcs and you don't have to mess with any ports or pc settings to get it to work.
I will second phonemypc. Have used it for over a year now, very nice.
Story once was my wife couldn't get teh mouse to work on the desktop and needed to print something. She called me, I brought it up on my phone and printed it for her. just one time I really needed it.

But still, when multiple emails are grouped together as a thread, its not clear or the multiselect isn't intuitive on what's selected. Also, the current selection highlight is the same as the multi select highlight which makes it hard to know if the current item is selected or not.

Yes there is the default Microsoft VPN connector. Which doesn't work for many of the Cisco VPN. We need Cisco AnyConnect.

Not only an app, you are supposed to be having a paid firewall. It is having a network flow panel which will let you know how many devices are connected with your IP address and what http packets they are accessing.
Or if you are having a client server topology, then server logs can easily tell you which user is viewing what.
Even there are free tool for checking ip address-
1) Microsoft Network Monitor
2) Nagios
3) OpenNMS
4) Advance IP Scanner
you can also try "Norton Family" when you first register you have 30 days of trial for free.
Csploit does achieve this I believe, and you can also intercept other people's browsing.Though, you should be really careful when using it and you should really know what all the functions do. I do not recommend you using it, but if it is a one time quicky then sure.
