hey guys! am new in this i just need help on this issue. i have htc dash, got it unlocked by tmobile, am trying to upgrade the os from win.6 to 6.5. will this upgrade lock the phone back or will remain unlocked when the upgrade is complete. if it locks the phone can i still make use of the same code provided by tmobile to re-unlock the phone. thanks

Right, I have a big problem here...
This morning, I downgraded my HBOOT to the 0.83 version on my HTC Desire. After doing this I then installed the origional Android 2.1 Eclair onto it. Everything went perfect until my phone restarted, and then suddenly after unlocking my phone it asked for a SIM Unlock PIN. I have a PIN on my SIM, but this is the PIN you enter to initally acess your phone as a security feature, and when I inputter this code it DID NOT work. So I need quite a bit of help with dealing with this problem. I have managed to get a temporary fix on the problem, by tweaking a bit and installing a different pre-rooted ROM, however I would like to run a Un-Branded version of Froyo 2.2 on my HTC Desire.

htc mozart using and last update build 7392 no problem but unlock device htc europe 1.23 rom installed build 7004 but no unlock where is the problem ?

The problem is, you're not making yourself very clear. You trying to unlock 7392 or 7004 or installing unlocked 7004? I'm sure there is no such thing as unlocked 7004, 7004 can be unlocked however
i upgraded my phone with built7392 but the phone was not unlocked. Now, i downgraded the phone with htc eurobe 1,23 to unlock the phone. It is build 7004 right now. but no matter what i do, i can not unlock it. I made the first update and i became 7008 but isn't unlocked again. I suppose i have done all the thing as said. chevron always gives the same error message.

hey everyone i recently got my htc arrive [sprint] and it came with the 7392 update pre installed and i was woundering if there is anyway to downgrade it or unlock it, if so thankyou very much!
From what I've read in different parts of this forum, people downgrade to an earlier version of WP7 by using Zune to restore to the point before they upgraded, and that's not possible in your case because you didn't upgrade in the first place!
Another way I could think of it to install on your device a ROM for an earlier version of WP7, but then you might face problems with CDMA because it wasn't supported in the early versions, so unless you can put a ROM for the HTC 7 Pro's old WP7 then unlock it then upgrade and get CDMA support again, it might not be possible :S

i cant find a rom for my phone. they have them but not for the htc arrive sprint model and i wanted to work on a jail break for my phone or for the nodo but i really dont know where to start. does anyone have a htc arrive pre nodo update for sprint?

i dont get where you are trying to point me to go. first link is for htc 7 pro non sprint and then i check out the dev unlock which dosnt work anymore cause microsoft dosnt have that edu email regester anymore you have to regester by school. and plus i really do not feel comfortable using my ssn!
You can't downgrade past NoDo. Since NoDo is required for CDMA support, there is no way to downgrade further since your phone never had a version of WP7 prior to NoDo. Even if you could, you'd likely break your phone.
no your wrong because the demo phone in my store is 7004 cdma so enuff of this cdma non supported on the older verson first off the phone is cdma not gsm! wait if i dump the demos phone 7004 update could i use it on my main phone?

I have been confused between SGS2 and Sensation for a long time and in the End I decided to get the Sensation.
I am getting same price for both sets... But I decided to get the Sensation now..
Its a used Sensation... The present user has upgraded it to 2.3.4 and has not unlocked bootloader or rooted it yet in fear of loosing warranty...
1) Can someone tell me the Official Gingerbread 2.3.4 Bootloader is unlockable or not? What should I check in Bootloader to confirm that its Hboot is unlockable via Alpharev..?.. I mean Hboot version that can be unlocked or an HBoot that cant be Unlocked?
2) any other thing u want me to check before buying since its a used one...
1. You will be able to Unlock the bootloader with revolutionary and get root with CWM AND SU zip files.
2. Check for dust under the screen and play with the phone for like 5 to 10 mins, see if anything looks suspicious.

I have tried to find an answer to my problem and can't seem to find it anywhere. Hopefully someone here will be able to assist.
Ok So I have an HTC ARIA, sim unlocked, and rooted using unrevoked3, running Aria Liberated custom ROM. Here is my problem I am not NAND (s-0ff) rooted. I have tried running revolutionary and also unrevoked forever. Neither worked. The problem is that I have hboot 0.57.0000 and I need version 1.02.0000 to make those programs work. Additionally, I need the phone to stay sim unlocked as I am in Germany for the next 3 years and am using a German cell phone company. So what I need is eithor a way to NAND root with hboot version 0.57.0000, or confirmation that if I install the stock upgrade to Android 2.2 (available on the HTC website) that my HBoot issue will be fixed with out loosing my sim unlock. I purchased the phone on ebay unlocked, I am not nor have I ever been an AT&T customer so I don't know where I would go to unlock the sim card again if it should become locked, and I don't know the code to unlock it.
