I just recently installed ADW and I really love it. But my original lockscreen doesn't work anymore and causes the phone to send e-mails, etc. by itself and drain the battery. I would like to get the old lockscreen back if possible, otherwise, what would be a good lockscreen that works with ADW?
I would like one that doesn't activate the screen unless i press the power button at the top.
i just realized that No Lock somehow is incompatible with ADW so i uninstalled it and my original lockscreen is back.

So it wasn't due to ADW then, the issue is with Nolock.

Does anybody have a means of getting the same.lockscreen a the one used in the yeti and cydogenmod roms. I love the lockscreen that are used in these roms more specifically the lockscreen that had the lock on the left side of the screen that you swipe to the right to unlock and the sound button that swipes to the left. Anyways I have tried everything but I cannot seem to get that lockscreen on my phone. Does anyone have just the lockscreen apk that I can just flash . Someone please help.

There is already a thread that discusses this. No. you must wait for a ROM with this otherwise a home replacement app is your best bet.

Anyone else notice the lock screen settings isn't working? How can I get it to work? I hate the pull down to unlock! I like tabs
Had vaelpak and it also had lock screen settings and never worked there either...it let's me set it up how I like but doesn't stay..help.

I have used search..All morning. Not getting any useful answers using search so I asked. So anyone know how to remove stock lock screen? I heard that for some phones deleting the clock will also delete ur music app and mess up regular clock...hmm

also does anyone know how to disable my soft keys at the bottom since i have the on screen nav enabled?

I'm also curious if this is possible. Ive found an app that disables the lights... until you sleep and wake your phone again. I really like the on-screen keys but there is not much point in my opinion if the soft keys are still lit/working.

For backlights
On Nova launcher do this.
Press and hold on the desktop>shortcuts>activities>galaxys2 settings.
Press on the shortcut and set up your back lights.

When my nexus boots up, it has a lockscreen. The moment I get a notification (email, voice mail, etc) my lockscreen disappears and never reappears when I turn my screen on until I reset the whole phone. I have screen lock slide selected under the security section. Anyone have ideas?

Nope. It happens on my stock nexus I've noticed in logcat it says "no lock screen! Windowtoken=null"

Yup! I found out why it was happening but it wasn't the developers fault Mods can closed/delete this thread!

I posted above in my thread what I was doing wrong: I messed myself up! I have the No Lock app it turns out that it was somehow set so locking was disabled. Re-enabling locking fixed this problem and solved my hours of wasted time.

So I decided to look at many different lockscreen apps. However, and I've found this issue multiple times with Widgetlocker, SlideLock, etc. After installing, the apps work like normal; my stock lock screen is disabled and the other shows up in its place. But after a while, seemingly random, the lockscreen app fails to show the screen, and I often have to flip it on and off or even reinstall it to get it to show up again... Has anyone else had this problem and possibly knows of a solution? I'm running a rooted factory ROM. Thanks in advance!

Just get a ROM with lock screen notifications. There's a bunch with the feature.

Hmm...I was really hoping for more of a solution to the problem than a way to avoid it, but if that's what I have to do I guess I'll do it.

Try this if you don't want a custom ROM. Rather than "replacing" the default lockscreen with an app it overlays on top. You'll also need to install this first but do not add it as a Lockscreen Widget since NiLS Floating Panel overlays over the lockscreen without needing the Widget.
